Excellent location - close to the historical city center and the train station. The hotel is old, but seems to be clean, except for the air conditioning, it looks like the filters have never been changed. Great price!

The staff spoke very little English, which made it challenging when we needed something. The front desk lady wasn’t very friendly, but this might have been due to the language barrier. Poor Internet connection.

Our choice was dictated by having an appointment at a dental clinic 75m away on the same street and Casa Emilio was perfect for us in this respect - we were looking for a clean hotel, a comfortable night's sleep and breakfast - and were not disappointed. There were no 'frills', but we hadn't been led to expect any, but staff were welcoming and helpful and coped well with our lack of Spanish - the breakfast from the cafeteria was perfect. Had we not been there for the dental appointment we would still have found Casa Emilio an excellent base for visiting Murcia - the park opposite, Jardín de Floridablanca, is a lovely green urban space and there is much to see within a short walk of the hotel. The heart of the city is minutes away and we would recommend Casa Emilio as an excellent base for a short visit to Murcia.

We found the hotel easily enough, but finding parking was a nightmare, with many circuits of the local streets before finding a temporary slot to give us time to ask for advice at the hotel. The receptionist recommended Aparcamurcia Cuartel, which was secure, supervised and shaded - and only a short, level, walk from the hotel; we'd recommend this as your SatNav destination for Casa Emilio - €14 for about 20 hours parking. I can't remember the exact max height, but our VW Transporter T5 was well under. The other thing we didn't like were the crinkly, sweaty, plastic mattress protectors - horrible things.

Good location and quiet room. Good WiFi

No plugs for sink or bath. Couldn’t have a bath or use the sink properly. They claim to be keen to conserve water but plugs would help. Initially contact was poor and without a reception desk this is important. User comments claimed parking nearby is easy - it certainly wasn’t!

Great location and perfect for a few nights stay, most of of my time was spent outside exploring. Staff and communication was excellent and would stay again.

Room was a little small but adequate for what I needed but air conditioning machine didn’t look clean (so didn’t use it).

The location of the property is great for exploring the city. The staff were all very friendly and we liked the fact you could have breakfast or a drink on site. The hotel was always kept clean.

Our room was supposed to have a garden view but we looked straight out onto another building so the curtain was always kept closed. Our request for extra pillows was not forthcoming and I hadn´t realised there was no hairdryer in the room.

Not too far from the railway station, or the centre of town, this hotel is cheap, cheerful and clean. The rooms are quiet, and the staff are great. This is my go to hotel in Murcia. I've stopped here numerous times, and will stop here again.

Nothing at all. The Casa Emillio isn't The Hilton, but it's great value for money.

Very close to everything. Walk over the bridge 5 mins and you're by the cathedral. Train station is 15 minutes walk or bus stop outside the hotel. Bus station is 15/20 minutes walk or bus stop outside the hotel. Places to eat dinner or places for cake nearby.

Location is great, staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast as perfectly adequate.

Unfortunately the guesses in the room next to us were very noisey and inconsiderate. whilst this was nothing to do with the hotel, it may be that the walls are quite thin. Hopefully we were just unlucky with our neighbours. It did not stop us getting a good nights sleep!

Great location. Just 10 minutes from the RENFE Murcia del Carmen train station. Very clean and nice staff. My 2nd time at Casa Emilio...i hope i will stay again there.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like it's more of an observation. No English speaking TV but then why should they, we're in Spain.
