It is the fourth time I have stayed here and I confirm my opinion: top marks especially for the competent, kind and always available staff, in a natural and discreet way. The room is large and comfortable with an excellent bathroom, equipped with a spacious shower. Appreciate the internal connection with the cafeteria (Bahia Restaurant) to enjoy an excellent coffee, and more!

It was a great experience, I liked everything!

The view was great, although we had paid extra for that, good location for railway station, ferry and local attractions. The check-in was good and the bed was very comfortable.

The room decor was quite poor (papering not well done) and the shower wasn't particularly good - water didn't get very hot. The restaurant menu was quite limited but luckily there are plenty of other options nearby and the breakfast was quite pricey at 16.50 Euros so we went round the corner for a nice breakfast (coffee and tostadas with ham and tomato for 3.5 Euros!)

Unbeatable location, so convenient for Train station, Bus station, Sightseeing bus and attractions such as Cathedral, Mercado del Este, Centro Botin Prices in the bar cafeteria were reasonable and measures were "Spanish" Service throughout from reception to waiters and cleaners was very good-friendly and efficient Massive room and bed Free water each day Quality toiletries

Room price on par with Madrid and Barcelona! Bedside tables more "style" than usability Breakfast price off-putting, especially when Peter & Pan 50 yds away offers a decent breakfast for 5 euros! wear and tear on the wallcoverings very evident

Beautiful hotel right on the sea front near the ferry terminal. It was really well appointed and spotlessly clean. From the front door we were just a few steps away from the beautiful promenade, shops, restaurants etc. Breakfast was buffet style and there was a good selection with some gluten free food also available. The staff were really friendly and helpful and those we dealt with, although we didn't expect it, all spoke English, which helped us a lot as we are still learning Spanish. We would stay here again and would recommend this hotel.

A perfectly-located hotel for the ferry to the UK. Charming and slightly old-fashioned, it is nevertheless very comfortable and spotlessly clean. If paying for a room with a view, you have a great vista of the bay. There is a cafeteria with snacks (as well as a more formal restaurant). The breakfast is OK. Parking access is via a lift at the side of the hotel - and after pressing the intercom button, you are directed to a specific numbered place. All very convenient.

The view from our sea view room was amazing! We saw the bay with lots of ships and boats and the park which was like the village gathering place. The staff were friendly and the location was very convenient to walk to everything, including for food, sights and the bus station

Housekeeping did less than expected. They did not sweep the floor or wipe down surfaces like table and desk, only bathroom sink area. They emptied trash, made up the bed, replaced towels and toilet paper but not drinking cups in the bathroom even though we stayed 7 days.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights prior to catching a ferry to the UK, partly to take in Santander. Location is very handy for the ferry terminal as well as walking around the city. We stayed in a suite which was very spacious and comfortable.

Slightly disappointed with the buffet breakfast, Nothing specific, just a feeling that it wasn't up to the style of hotel. Not the easiest of places to navigate to the hotel garage car parking. Confused my car satnav, but partly becasue a nearby street was closed for constructiuon works!

You simply can't get a better location! Fantastic sized room, with wonderful sea view. Super comfy beds. Secure parking. 5 minute drive from the Ferry terminal. We stayed for 2 nights and ate in the restaurant on the second night. We were very impressed with the service, which was excellent, and the quality and presentation of the food. Also very reasonably priced. Would recommend.

to be honest the bathroom was a little dated, and the shower could have been better, but that is really nit picking. Overall it is a great choice.

The hotel room was very spacious - there was plenty of room for 2 adults with 2 large suitcases and 2 small cases. The bed was really comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect for us for one night - walking distance to the Post Office and a supermarket.

There was no electric kettle in the room, so we couldn't make a cup of coffee at night and in the morning, as we are used to doing in every other hotel we stayed at. The hotel address that you are given means that the GPS can not get you to the front of the hotel where you need to be to access the car parking, due to construction works and road closures. This situation is not new, as it shows up on Google maps. It would be sensible of the hotel to provide you with additional information on how to drive to the hotel/car parking when you make a booking with car parking included. We ended up being caught and having to park in a more expensive underground car park and drag our luggage to the hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel before thanks to Booking.com. The location on the promenade is wonderful. It is so convenient for the city centre, ferry terminal and airport.

As with many hotels booking.com offer, there is a lack of handrails in slippery shower areas and the Bahía is no exception. It is also getting a little tired though lack o maintenance. For example, the loo roll holder in our en suite bathroom was hanging at a drunken angle. Not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. The garage parking is a challenging. Not only is the car lift that takes you down three floors narrow, there isn’t much space to manoeuvre in the garage itself.
