The location was within walking distance of all the sites we wanted to see. The decor was fantastic, and the little donkey souvenir was a sweet touch. Breakfast was great in the courtyard area. We didn't get to visit the bar area. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Our room was beautiful but very small compared to all the other hotels we stayed at in Italy and Spain this trip. The room had windows that opened up onto the public courtyard, including the bathroom, which we had to cover with a towel for privacy because there was no window covering. My friends' rooms all had a hair straightener (which was amazing) but my room's was missing. I wasn't expecting one, but it was a great addition to the hair dryer (for those who had one).

The entry to building is magnificent, with floral displays with a lovely fragrance. Every aspect of the hotel is first class. All bathroom requirement were provided even a hair straightener. Complimentary bottle of sherry and welcome gifts. Beds turned down at nights with a gift and chocolates. Breakfast was fantastic, A la Carte service with five or six courses, set in a beautiful court yard. The rooms are spacious, bed linen and towels are luxurious.

Our only disappointment was the night we had dinner in the restaurant, food was cold, fillet steak was fatty also looked unappetising.

The service in the bar and at breakfast was a bit 'hit and miss'. At breakfast we had to repeat our request for tea/coffee a few times due to it being forgotten. At the downstairs bar (in the evening) it was clear the staff wanted to close, so we were 'encouraged to pay up'. Although there is a call button on the rooftop bar (it is not permanently staffed), we ended up having to telephone via mobile to the hotel to get service, as it was ignored or didn't work. Finally, despite twice having stated to reception we would need a porter to collect our suitcases for when we departed, we ended up having to bring them down to the lobby ourselves. Not quite what is expected from a 5 Star hotel!

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were very friendly, very helpful and professional. The hotel, common areas and room were very beautiful. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a doorman who helped with bags, valeted the car, showed us the common areas and explained the room to us. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was beautiful. The restaurant/bar was very nice and the food was good. Breakfast was also good and the servers were great. Every night when we got back from dinner the room had been turned down with water and chocolate set up. They made everything feel special.

Really no major complaints. The valet parking was kind of expensive, but city parking usually is.

The hotel is beautiful, as it is a restored historical building situated in a convenient location in the city center with so much to do around. The decoration and the rooms are gorgeous, clean and everything was selected with great care (especially the bathroom was very nice and spacious). The bed is huge and comfortable. Nice sheets and towels, felt like brand new. Very hospitable and accommodating staff and the New Year's Eve party was fun and well organised. We had a wonderful time.

Although the bed is of a high quality, it takes most of the room's space, so it is not ideal for many suitcases. Our room in the inner patio had an inside balcony, which gave us some extra room, but it is a sitting area, a bit cold and visible from the rest of the balconies around. Also, breakfast needs some upgrading. The products used are great and the hot dishes are nice, but it could be better.

Beautiful hotel, with very nice rooms and facilities. The hotel staff is very kind and the hotel is located on a good place, with all main highlights of the city on walking distance. The interior of the hotel is really nice, with a lot of art. Staff is very flexible and really looking after you.

The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. The breakfast is good and the staff is great, but for the money you pay for the breakfast, you better can walk out of the hotel and have breakfast in one of the many places in the surroundings.

I thought at the price breakfast shouldve been included. Stayed for one breakfast....really nice but nothing outstanding considering the cost. Also didnt have chance to use rooftop bar for a " nightcap" after sightseeing all day. Was told it was closed due to the season only to be tols , when leaving, that this wasnt the case. Also the kingsize bed is 2 large beds together so the crease in the middle could be felt whilst trying to sleep.Otherwise...a beautiful city hotel.

Well.. Where do we start with this experience. Firstly, we don’t often take time to review hotels, but this one deserves a special mention. Our experience of this hotel, its team of personnel is so positive its hard not to sound like we might own the place! On arrival, which was in the middle of Seville’s Holy Week, I was not able to park outside the hotel as normal, & ended up in a city car park just a short walk away. Having explained this by phone to the hotel concierge, Andres worked his way through the procession and helped me carry our luggage, guiding us politely through the crowd and into reception. Champagne on arrival was welcome and Check-In was simple and efficient. Throughout our stay Andres and Alejandro, were extremely helpful sharing local tips for getting around, offered suggestions for places to visit, and made reservations on our behalf. They encouraged us to explore the city, which is invaluable on a short stay. Rose was excellent in suggesting wine choices while relaxing in the Courtyard for late afternoon drinks. In the evening, the Bar staff are equally professional, helping with info regarding the numerous drinks offerings. We had dinner in the Restaurant one night, which was delicious. We are regular travellers and as part of our work spend a lot of time researching hotels, interiors, customer experiences and comfort levels. We have an interest in how bars and dining spaces interact with guests and what makes them behave in a positive manner. Let me say, this hotel, our room and all the circulation and seating spaces are extremely well crafted and leaves no space for criticism. Remember, this hotel is situated in the city. It’s always a risk isn’t it…how well you may sleep, will it be noisy etc. I can assure you the sound reduction from the acoustic balcony doors is superb. Surreal even, when the hum of this bustling city fades away effortlessly. The interior surroundings and facilities in the room are superb.

Frankly, I cannot think of any way to improve this hotel. It was an 11/10 experience in every aspect.
