Staff were friendly.

Upset about the taxi transfer from airport organised by hotel, which was quoted at 40 Euros but when I arrived at hotel the taxi driver, in an Uber car, demanded cash only and did not have a receipt. When I insisted on a receipt the price went up to 48.50 euro cash and the day after he said he will get the receipt. I had to accept and paid in full. The next day after the staff sent a couple of reminders the receipt finally arrived, incompletely filled, which will be a problem for my reimbursement. I will not recommend this service to anyone, it was a rip off. It ruined my otherwise good experience

Lovely hotel in a great location right in the centre of Seville. The bed was very comfortable and slept well for all of the five nights I was there. The staff were always friendly to me. There are plenty of bus connections right outside as well as taxis if you need them. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby as well as Las Setas just a few minutes walk away.

There was a lack of soundproofing from my room as I could hear another room having a party from the sound of it on one night but I slept through.

Pretty much everything! Friendliness of the staff, cleanliness throughout, the lovely room with comfortable beds, good hot shower, kettle and fridge in the room. The breakfast, the selection and quality of the food and again friendly staff. The lovely relaxing lounge area and the roof terrace (except it was too windy and wet for us to use during our stay.)The location was perfect, walking distance to all places of interest, also frequent buses and taxis right there in the Square outside if needed. The hop on, hop off bus stop there too. Plenty of good restaurants, coffee shops and tapas bars very close by and great shops as well. My daughter and I had a fantastic stay! I hope to return to beautiful Seville and would definitely choose the Hotel Derby again.

Only one small thing,the hairdryer in the room seemed to overheat and cut out within a minute or two so we couldn't really dry our hair.

Breakfast - modest, last day no coffee. Location - great! Room - really small and no actual window but backwall. Asked staff what is the bus ticket price - she was judgmental: I never use bus! All room doors are closing with bang - no rubber insulation.

Center position, clean room, fairly good breakfast but starting it at 8 o"çlock

This thing has a Union Jack beside my name IM IRISH !!!! having clarified that here's my experience Breakfast is grand. Buffet scrambled eggs small sausages bacon but remember this is the spanish variety just go with the flow. There is also fruit, fruit juices and selection of meats and cereal and a selection of breads and pastry

This is not the hotels fault but there were extremely noisy guests who were leaving at 4am and were shouting up and down the corridors to each other, they were Ukranians so no surprise there. Apart from that the hotel is excellent with taxis directly opposite and close to all attractions. Cleaning staff are excellent. Little Lidl store next to it for filling the fridge

Easy check in, nice comfortable rooms with a view over the square in front of the hotel. The bathroom is small but functional with a bath. Next door to this hotel is a big Aldi which is super handy during your stay. Also, location wise this is just perfect - you are around 6 minutes from Setas de Sevilla and around 10 mins walk down to the cathedral.

The room had aircon but it was very poor - the rooms were warm (despite it being December!) and the Aircon did very little to improve this. It was easier to open the window and let some cool air in. As such, I would worry about staying here in the summer where the temperatures in Seville are upwards of 30 degrees.

The hotel is located in the center of the city, this give you a lot of options of what to do next, you can go to a bar, a restaurant, just for a walk and no matter in which direction you go, you will return safely to the hotel in less than 20 min. They provide you with a giant room with a giant bed and a great view to the city. The breakfast is good, you can decide what to eat and what do you need everyday.

As I arrived to the hotel, I got pretty ill, don't know if it was because the position of the table, the AC hit me directly with cold air and because it was so hot outside might have worsen everything.

Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel as everything is within walking distance for visit Seville,excellent location in the center of Seville, also liked that the rooms were clean, although the hotel itself was not new but maintained in good condition. I was without a car, so I won’t say for a parking..The surrounding amenities and vibrant neighborhood further enhance the experience, making it an ideal base for exploring the rich cultural heritage and lively atmosphere of Seville.Situated just a few steps away from Plaza del Duque, the hotel offers easy access to some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the Seville Cathedral, Giralda Tower, and the Alcazar. The bustling shopping streets of Calle Sierpes and Calle Tetuán are also within walking distance.

One area where Hotel Derby Sevilla could improve is its breakfast offerings. While the breakfast is generally adequate, it could benefit from a greater variety of options, particularly when it comes to fresh vegetables. Enhancing the selection with more healthy and fresh choices would significantly improve the overall breakfast experience for guests.

Loved the location. Staff was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Touristy shops as well as shopping for everyone. Very pleasant area to walk around. The Cathedral and Real Alcazar, among other attractions, are walking distance. The Hop On Hop Off bus stops near the hotel, which allows for visiting other spots of interest (though the bus tour itself was not great)

I prefer vegetarian Jain Meals so didn’t know much about breakfast and restaurant thing but yes location is very perfect and safe for tourist and ease reachable !’loved the vibe around the hotel ❤️ welcoming staff and good services during day

They don’t serve water bottles in night and no cutlery tafter returning from day tour we realise no water went to reception for water bottle no water to be served literally went out of the hotel for water 😭
