The hotel was in an ideal location for the cathedral and alcazar down a small street with a bar/restaurant opposite. We had a superior room with a balcony from where you could see the cathedral and hear the bells! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on the food/service. Staff were very nice and helpful but not everyone had a good grasp of English.

Room was in need of an upgrade - laminate flooring was chipped and coming apart. Bath was very tiny, only really useful as a shower and difficult to get in or out if you weren’t agile. Lots of noise from the room above - could hear the shower going at 1am!!

Fantastic location in shady streets of the historic old town within easy walking distance of the cathedral and Alcazar. Hotel had character and was spotlessly clean. Lots of eateries nearby. Bed was very comfy, daily room cleaning and fresh towels. Breakfast was more than adequate.

Room didn’t have a safe and a kettle would have been nice too. First hotel I’ve stayed in that didn’t offer both of these, even 2 star hotels.

Lovely old style hotel in great location within easy walking distance of the main attractions of the city. Near to the gardens of the Royal Palace, a few minutes walk to the cathedral or Plaza de Espana Clean and tidy with friendly staff. Chose a room with terrace so options for space which was lovely. Great to sit out and hear bubble of conversation from the bar below, but great soundproofing as once the door was closed it was nice and quiet Nice rooftop terrace with view of Giralda tower. Not serving whilst we were there but a nice area to relax. Nice breakfast, hot or cold options on the buffet. Good to be able to leave luggage securely for the day of departure while exploring and came back to the hotel to cool off for a while before heading out again for dinner. Average value for money but location is everything and this was comparable to others in the area. Location meant we could always pop back to the hotel to freshen up or chill out without missing out on the sightseeing. We booked taxi transfers which dropped off very close by (as the hotel is in the winding pedestrian only old town).

Sometimes there was a drains smell in the bathroom, but we noticed this occasionally around the old town so might be the old sewer system. We opened the bathroom window when needed.

This hotel has an excellent location right in the pedestrian area of the old city center — perfect for exploring on foot. It's just a short walk to all the main tourist attractions and the best shopping streets. The building itself is full of charm, a beautifully refurbished historic property with a lovely inner patio and a small but refreshing swimming pool. Our room was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The bed was great, and the bathroom was sleek and up-to-date — everything felt high quality. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Highly recommended!

Perfectly positioned in the Santa Cruz area of the Old Town, we were comfortably able to walk within a few minutes to the Royal Alcazar, Cathedral of St Mary of the See, Torre del Oro and River Guadalquivir, Plaza de Espana, and Metropol Parasol. An excellent breakfast was offered in the downstairs breakfast room, with generous hours of 7am to 11am. Plenty of restaurants very close to the property.

Our room was a Superior Double Room with a terrace and supposedly a city view. The view was of the back of some dilapidated looking buildings only. Be aware, room 319 has 3 steps up to the bed area from the living space, and an additional step from the living space down to the entrance area of the room and bathroom. This can be tricky in the night for those who need to get up. The handrail on the step wobbles, which is disconcerting. The mattress in this room is also definitely not to hotel standard. The springs creak, and there is little padding in the top. We slept ok, so didn’t ask to be moved.

I thought this hotel was going to be impersonal, being right in the centre of a very touristy area but the welcome was really friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. It is situated right in the heart of the city, in a quirky little street close to the Giralda/Cathedral/other historic buildings, shops and restaurants. The building itself is characterful and the rooms spacious and really good value at under 100 Euros for the night. Breakfast was 12 Euros and was a simple affair, but perfectly satisfactory

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Some people might find that proximity to restaurants and bars is not ideal, but we didn't find it to be a problem. I expect city centre hotels to experience a certain amount of noise and Spanish cities, especially, to have a late night culture.

The location is fantastic. Just a few minutes walk to the cathedral. There is a good restaurant just opposite the hotel and 2/3 mins walk either way would get you to more places to eat, gift shops etc.The building itself is impressive inside. The room was clean and comfortable, good breakfast. They had a safe deposit locker at the reception which is free of charge. Staff are really good. Reception staff all spoke english. Overall a really good experience.

Nothing really. Only small thing to mention is that the bed in our room was a double bed, but smaller size than most places we see. It didn't cause any issues for us, but might do for some people.

Very central hotel, a bit difficult to find at first, but in a very historic and atmospheric part of the city, close to Alcazar and cathedral. The hotel reception areas feel like you in a museum (in a nice way ) with period features. Staff pleasant, especially the breakfast staff. Room nice, although we only had a view facing a wall. Fridge in room. Shower and bath. Did request a quiet room away from the lift and they did sort that for us. All in all a nice stay, shame about the weather.

Shame roof top bar wasn’t open, but that may have been due to the constant rain. No kettle, tea and coffee in the room.

The property location is excellent, very close to the historic centre of Seville. The centre is a rabbit warren of streets but the hotel provided us with a map and we soon found ourselves navigating the narrow streets. The breakfast was quite adequate, fair range of breads and pastries, so we were able to fill up. There was some hot food but not to our taste. There was also a range of yoghurts, meat, cheese, fresh fruit and a couple of cereals so hopefully enough to satisfy most people’s taste. Importantly for us the coffee was quite decent despite it being from a machine. We travelled in March and the weather was fantastic so every late afternoon we sat on the terrace and soaked up the sunshine. Unfortunately the terrace bar was not open and it does state it is a seasonal bar but we took our own drinks with us. The room itself was very clean and the decor of the hotel was historic and interesting. There are lifts in the hotel although they are quite small. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and our rooms were cleaned every day.

The room was a bit dated, in particular the bathroom. Our room (405) had a few issues in the bathroom which I’m sure the hotel are aware of, although I have to admit we didn’t report. The shower head and toilet flush are functional but really need updating. We’d read reviews about thin walls and we could hear people in the neighbouring room but luckily like ourselves they seemed to just come back to sleep so we were not disturbed for long. Being close to the lift we could hear it when in use.

We always stay at this hotel when we visit Sevilla. It is consistently good and good value in an expensive city. Great location in a quiet alley in the barrio Santa Cruz within easy walking distance of many of the main sites and restaurants. It is also a short 10-15 minute walk from the San Sebastián bus station. The hotel has a welcoming museum-like lobby of historical artifacts and helpful, friendly staff. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfasts with lots of fresh fruits, yogurts, eggs, breads, pastries and typical Spanish options. Quiet A/C. Wifi worked well in room and common areas.

It was all good.
