My first stay at this beautiful hotel was in 2021, when I visited with my (adult) nephew. I knew it would be the perfect place to visit with my husband in celebration of our 30th anniversary. So much, in fact, that we adjusted some of our dates on our two week trip to Spain to make sure we could stay here. Everything about my second stay was as perfect as the first. Each staff member we interacted with was extremely polished and professional. We travel a fair amount and this level of service is rare. The hotel grounds are exquisite and feel hidden from the buzz of the city, despite its ideal location in the beautiful historic center. Our room was nicely appointed, impeccably clean, and the bed was by far the most comfortable of our two week, six city trip. Breakfast was varied, excellent quality and well worth the cost. The nightly low-key guitar concert in the courtyard adds to the overall experience and makes this hotel even more special. I like variety and rarely want to stay anywhere more than once, but I will go out of my way to stay here again.

Nothing- we wouldn’t change a thing.

From the moment I booked this stay, the staff were in touch to see if they could do anything to assist and make our stay more enjoyable. I had various email communications with them prior to our arrival and thanks to their recommendations felt fully prepared before we arrived. They even booked a restaurant for me to save me the hassle. The hotel is so beautiful and very impressive on arrival. We were made to feel very welcome, despite arriving several hours before our check in time. We had planned on just dropping our bags off but instead were offered coffee, cake and an early check in! After a very early morning flight this was very welcomed and enabled us to freshen up before heading out for a day of exploring. We tried several of their restaurant recommendations - El Pasaje Santa Maria La Blanca, El Traga, El Pinton, to name a few and all were exquisite! We also booked a Flamenco show at Museo del Baile Flamenco on their recommendation which was fantastic. I'm so grateful to all of the staff, both prior to arriving and once we were there for making our so special. The old town where the hotel is located is so beautiful, could spend hours wandering admiring the sites. Cannot wait to come back! LOVED the : staff location recommendations the early check in

Excellent boutique hotel in the old town centre. Could not ask for more and would return. Hotel arranged airport taxis (at a cost) to make transfers stress free. Rocio greeted us with Cava and a map to show us the whereabouts of all we needed from the cathedral and Alcazar to the nearest supermarket and local restaurants. We didn't leave the old town locality really and just walked short walks to everything with beer, coffee and ice cream stops along the way. Lovely weather throughout and all very relaxing. The hotel and our room was a delightful haven from the sun, with excellent, easily controlled air conditioning and the building itself is an oasis of ferns and colour. We didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on the food, but there's plenty of choice within minutes for coffee, croissants, eggs and bacon and the wonderful bom bon coffee nearby. Same with restaurants for evening meals. We enjoyed some wonderful food, especially my favourite tapa of anchovie and tomato as pictured, and of course paella. Just Google the best Paella in Sevilla and it's two minutes away. The other staff were all great and helped with online bookings for cathedral etc. Rooms were brilliantly looked after and if we return to Sevilla, this is where we'll stay.

Struggling to come up with something critical but, for the sake of balance, we would say the scent of all the lillies downstairs was a bit overpowering for us (allergies etc) and a bit of proper drawer space in the room for underwear etc would have been useful.

This is a graceful, serene property in the heart of old Seville. It is a charming and romantic hotel in a charming and romantic city. The Casa del Poeta is carefully curated to create a sense of luxury and calm. The service is thoughtful, personal, and welcoming. There is attention to detail in every aspect of the property and service. You have the sense that every problem will be solved, every need attended to, and every question met with a smile.

We love staying in the historic centers of cities, which pretty much guarantees that parking will be challenging. In the case of Casa del Poeta, it is a public parking lot within easy walking distance and good access. Thankfully, no tight maneuvering, but still less than ideal. One improvement would be an easy way for guests to plug in and charge phones, etc. at the bedside.

Beautiful property. Lots of character. Lovely little touches in the room - chocolates and tea coffee and good cosmetic minis. Big comfy bed and quiet! Staff were attentive and friendly. Brilliant location close to everything!

Nothing (if you want an evening meal I don’t think they have a kitchen onsite. We don’t have the breakfast as it seemed a little expensive at $20 pp but can’t comment on how nice it was!)

From the initial welcome to throughout our stay and then the check-out the service was exceptional. The hotel is a little oasis of peace and tranquility in the city. Situated in a very narrow street with a very unassuming front entrance you step into the most beautiful place with the wonderful smell of lilies and staff who make you feel very special. It will hold the most wonderful memories for me and my partner for our lives to come. As business owner ourselves, my partner and I would like to congratulate the team at Casa del Poeta on delivering an exceptional experience for us for our trip to Sevilla to celebrate my partners 60th Birthday. The double bed that was made up of two single beds could have been better. Apart from this everything exceeded our expectations.

The staff! Great location for first time visitor. Beautiful ambiance. Toiletries , nightly turn down service. Kindness of the staff and their attention to detail. Classical guitarist in the evening was lovely. Rooftop has a magical view. Availability of parking in the historic center and staffs helpfulness with pulling luggage to and from the hotel.

Although the room we stayed in was large enough for 3, had I known there was no natural light with the only window needing to be covered for privacy to the inner courtyard and hence no natural light I would have chosen a different room. The overwhelming smell of jasmine from the candles they light at the entryway, for me, was really overpowering because our room was at the entrance hall where the candles are lit. There is a slight intermingling of this heavy jasmine smell with sewer that was displeasing. With all this said we did not ask for a relocation of our room as we were there only 2 nights and to move all our luggage again seemed pointless. As well as the positives of the hotel were far greater than this minor issue.

The hotel itself was set in a stunning courtyard and had a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The suite we stayed in was immaculate and spacious with all the facilities you would need. There was a rooftop with amazing views and the guitar shows in the evening were a lovely surprise. The location was perfect, on a quiet little street just a few minutes walk from lots of restaurants and the cathedral. The staff and housekeeping were so friendly and accommodating and made our stay even more special. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to family and friends!

Absolutely wonderful hotel from start to finish. It felt more like a 5* hotel in terms of service than every 5* I have stayed in London and I’ve stayed in many! It was so nice to arrive early, before check in , and be welcomed with a glass of cava and snacks while we checked in. The suite we had was lovely. Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom. Lovely footcream left after every days sightseeing. Sweet treats at night. Breakfast was buffet style with pastries and hot foot , most mornings the selection included a delicious hand made savoury flan. The staff were absolutely lovely. Each evening we sat in the courtyard and listened to an excellent guitarist while we had a very good G and T!

Really nice hotel. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect. They made parking our car very easy (tough to do in Sevilla). The ambiance of the hotel was amazing...very old world Spanish feel. Cool place. I'd recommend it.

The room was pretty small and our window looked at a wall, but it really didn't bother us much. I imagine it's pretty tough to find a hotel with a great room view in old town Sevilla where the buildings are 3 feet from each other. Overall we were happy.
