Excellent location - in the very historic center of Seville. Easy to find your way around. Room was spot on, no surrounding noise, beds and pillows were comfortable, nice clean shower. Continental breakfast was fine, free tea and coffee facilities at any time of the day. Flamenco performance takes place in the court yard every evening with discounted tickets for the hotel guests. We had an accident on our arrival - my husband had a stroke. Thanks to hotel staff for their prompt reaction. My husband was taking to the hospital almost immediately and this helped him with proper recovery, so we could fly home. Hospitality of the hotel is so great and you feel like you are at home.

The location is great if you want to be in the central part of Sevilla, within walking distance of the Alcazar and Cathedral as well as some other interesting places. The room, though small, was immaculate and had everything I needed. The bathroom was clean and there was no shortage of hot water. The breakfast, which you can get for an additional 9.5 euros is totally worth it - different kinds of bread, jams, pate, cold cuts, donuts and other pastries, fruit (bananas, apples and oranges), hard boiled eggs, orange juice and coffee and tea. But the best part was the staff - very courteous, helpful and they spoke excellent English.

A lovely, clean hotel in a great location, very friendly staff. My single room was small but had everything I needed. I appreciated the little things such as a conditioner and a comb in the bathroom, plus a make up removal towel. I absolutely loved that there was free self-service coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times, and even a microwave! I didn't have breakfast but it looked abundant enough.

The only bad thing about the hotel is the poor soundproofing in the rooms. There is no noise from outside because the room doesn't face the street, but you can hear everything from the hallway - guests coming in and out, talking between themselves, using the hairdryer in the room etc. If you are a light sleeper, I'd perhaps stay somewhere else. I slept very poorly because of the noise.

The welcome was really friendly and the hotel is really well situated in the old part of the city, close to the sights, restaurants and shops. The hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes walk from the Avenida Carlos V bus stop from the airport. Our room was well-proportioned and even had a little living room. Breakfast was in a small area next to reception and if you wanted you could eat in an adjacent courtyard. The hotel was bright and airy and I thought it was really good value for a major European city centre location, at under £100/115 Euros. Breakfast was 10 Euros extra and was simple but fine. There is an adjacent building where Flamenco shows are staged and really added to the Spanish atmosphere.

It was perfect for us and I would happily have stayed there several nights, had I been in the city longer.

I booked this property because it was within walking distance of the Transportes Como line at the bus station. I never expected it to be so delightful! I loved everything about this hotel, from my bright and cheerful room, to the fact that they had loaner umbrellas for use by the travelers. Staff was so kind and helpful, and offering all kinds of local advice, including where I could get a much needed haircut after traveling for several months. It was quiet, comfortable, and convenient! I also took advantage of the guest discount at the flamenco show next-door. It was very impressive!

Disliked relinquishing control of my room key when I left the property, but once I overcame my "control issues," it felt very safe.

The location is excellent. It was potentially very quiet in the rooms but the Flamenco Theatre below was closed when we were staying there so that may not be the same on a different occasion. The excellent helpful staff were always to hand. This made the Hotel feel very secure. It was clean and the rooms had very efficient air conditioning. Lift always appreciated! Free coffee tea etc downstairs if required. Facilities for hot drinks in the room would have been appreciated and has led to a down rating. The rooms should have been quiet but a large room above had noisy occupants, shouting conversations, moving and scraping furniture around late at night and going in and out of the rooms - seemed like lots of people. The Hotel is "hard" furnished -tiles, hard floors etc..for coolness and cleanliness but it makes the rooms a bit echo-ey. Fine if every guest is considerate.This was not the hotels fault of course, but it did lead to a lack of good sleep for our stay But apart from the above guests , it was a really good hotel.

Location was fantastic, right in the Jewish quarter but also only a short bus ride from the train station. Staff were friendly and happy to provide recommendations. The traditional flamenco show next door was incredible (and surprisingly not loud enough to disturb the rooms, given that it runs 4 times a day). Tea, water and other drinks available in the lobby all day.

Would have been nice to have space in the shower to put toiletries. It was also a bit odd to have to leave the keys at reception before leaving the hotel bedofe every exit, but it was never a problem because there was always staff at reception. The room was not very big and slightly dated, but it was lovely for a few days.

I have stayed here several times over the past 20 years and it is consistently a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, down a quiet walking corridor, the rooms are quiet and comfortable and super clean. The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming. The sitting area in the lobby, with small patio is lovely and they provide free coffee, warm milk and tea all day. I love this gem in Sevilla and can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay at the Alcántara!

The hotel is right in the middle of the historic centre of Seville, for example the must see attraction of Real Alcazar is just 5 mins walking distance. The staff is very friendly, competent and helpful. The room I did get was small but clean, quiet and had everything I needed, the bed was very comfortable too. In the lobby you can get coffee, tea and water for free. Breakfast is typical continental with spanish cold cuts, cheese, eggs, bread, fruits etc. Overall I had a great stay and I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore the city of Seville!!!

Nothing to complain

Great location and very nice staff! Even though the rooms are a bit dated it felt very cozy and comfortable, and the staff were always very welcoming and friendly. In the first floor they have flamenco shows every night and I went to watch a show every single night of my stay and I loved it! Really recommend this nice family hotel!!

The breakfast could use a bit more variety.
