I travel for work and my usual accommodation fell through at the last minute. I was extremely surprised to find a last-minute private room in the centre of the old town for less than 40 Euros, especially at this time of year. I work in the British Institute, which is literally a 2 minute walk from Santa Maria la Blanca. Although the building was very old and some of the beautiful tiles on the bedroom wall were cracked, the linen and towels were spotless, the bed very comfortable and the thick walls, coupled with a very strong fan, made the 32 degree temperature bearable. This is not a luxury stay, but anyone who needs a clean, quiet (!) and centrally located bed for the night for a reasonable price would be hard-pressed to find a better stay. I arrived at 23:30pm, so did not meet any staff. However, the electronic key drop-box enabled me to register myself as I had pre-arranged my arrival time. The staff were very prompt in answering my email requests in both English and Spanish, accommodating my after-hours arrival and early check out. Considering the fact that less centrally located dorm rooms were charging 60+ euros a night, I was most impressed with this find and shall certainly come again.

The shared bathroom was very clean and equipped with soap, shampoo etc. I don´t know if it was my ineptitude or the time of day, but both my late night shower and early morning one were very cold. Again, not a problem to me, considering the heat of the day, but those who like scalding showers should be forewarned.

The location was secure, clean and right in the part of town I wanted to be in to see the Real Alcazar. The staff was friendly. The rooms have AC which was really good in September. And I paid less there than I did for a place in London later that was …golly where do I begin? So for the price, this place was excellent in comparison! It also wasn’t too far away from a buss stop on a buss I got from the airport and it want too far from a bus I took to get to Granada. My only regret was not getting to stay longer.

Maybe more soap provided is all. A common lack I found in my budget stays through Spain and the UK.

I enjoyed the location of the place. Very close to the city center and the main attractions. The bed and room were comfortable-the hostel even gave us toilet paper, shampoo, towels, and extra blankets.

I was very cold in the actual hostel. I would recommend better insulation if possible (but they did provide extra blankets which was excellent, don't let the coldness deter you.)I would also appreciate having someone at the front desk, available for questions. It seemed the host was never there (maybe I wasn't looking hard enough)

The property owner was so gracious and welcoming and wanted to do whatever she could to make feel comfortable in her home. She made sure you had whatever you needed. It was very quiet and I’d highly recommend this property to anyone!

We had a little miscommunication due to translation error about the fold out bed cost for the larger room, but it was resolved through booking.com

The location is excellent within the old city, close to the Alcazar and Cathedral and the beautiful alleyways. You can just go out the door and walk to most places. There are eateries outside and parks nearby. The pension is authentic and traditional and we appreciate that. it has not lost it’s character by modernising. Some might call it rustic . it’s a pension, it’s relatively basic but that is reflected in the price.i We had a booking problem over the room, which booking. com couldn’t sort out, but to their credit the pension sorted it promptly and happily. They were great.

I was surprised I rented a hostel but was pleasantly surprised how clean and quiet it was It was 1st experience at a hostel and we are in our 70’s and was pleasantly surprised and happy with the accommodations

the roon was charming and clean.

it was a little loud at night because I was on the street. the internet often did not work. I was on the third floor so I climbed lots of stairs.

Central location near old city of Seville. Room comfortable, clean and adequate for 3 nights. Bed mattress was new. Very good value for money

The shower was either too hot or too cold

Location was perfect for seeing the sights and it was safe.

I wish there was a small bar of soap in the bathroom.
