I have been traveling all over Spain for the last three weeks and without a doubt this is the most impressive, incredible hotel and staff I have encountered. I want to go back tomorrow. Clean, comfortable, courteous… Incredible staff who wanted nothing more than to help with everything all the time. I’m missing the beautiful smells of Jasmine and Lily that greeted me every morning in the lobby! special thanks to Pedro who fed me after numerous flight delays when I arrived despite everything being closed. I can’t say enough about this hotel and you’re crazy if you pick anywhere else to stay in the beautiful city of Sevilla.

Have absolutely nothing negative to say. It was perfect.

The location, the room, when I checked in Pedro was very helpful and pleasant he helped me with my bags and showed me to my room and even waited until I got in to make sure my key worked. Pedro deserves a raise. It was very refreshing to have such service after a long day of traveling and being tired.

When I checked out Eduardo was not as friendly as the people when I arrived and he had an attitude when I asked him to call a taxi. He needs improvement. A smile and asking me how my stay was goes a long way which he didn’t do but he also seemed bothered that I asked him to call a taxi.

The location was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size. Comfortable bed and nice toiletries everyday. Roof top terrace with sun beds to chill out end of day.

Very small pool. Lots of chlorine. The gym was too small. I had an incident with the exercise floor mat. The gym floor is marble tile and I slipped off the mat and fell. I did inform the receptionist about this. Was concerned it could happen to someone else. I was lucky I didn’t hurt myself seriously! We got offered free breakfast. Which was not the point of my complaint. I checked and the exercise mats are still there when we checked out. Really need a proper gym floor in there.

Attractive modern hotel in historic building.Great location for Seville old town.Excellent service the staff were all very helpful and courteous. The hotel is well run which is reflected in the hard working team.Nothing was too much for the staff to ensure guests were made to feel welcome and to ensure we had a positive experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable.The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh local ingredients.We used the roof top bar. We stopped for 5 nights in January,one evening we had a lovely surprise sent to our room a bottle of Cava. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Could not fault this hotel or its staff, they were always there to help with absolutely anything that was needed, they were friendly and always so helpful! The hotel itself is spotless with modern decor in a traditional building, they make the customer feel special from the start and always went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, would not hesitate to stay here again if I’m ever in Seville, the hotel is within walking distance of all attractions with lots of bars and restaurants surrounding the hotel, only a very short walk to La Setas, ideal for a sightseeing trip in Seville!

Long weekend, Thursday - Sunday. Excellent hotel, comfy, modern, classy & staff couldn’t do enough to help make our stay comfortable. The first day our room felt cold (the weather wasn’t too good) staff brought us a heater which was perfect, and we only needed to use it the first night. The second night, a bottle of fizz on ice with a lovely letter from management was left in our room. Such a lovely surprise & gratefully received. Breakfast delicious with plenty of choice. Room extremely comfortable & bed perfect - we slept the best we have in a long time!

Posada del Lucero is a restful, peaceful hotel in this very busy city - yet still on the edge of the Old Town, and so not far from the attractions of central Seville. The inner courtyard of what was a C16 inn is a cool hideaway. Most welcome. The breakfast was sumptuous: a lovely start to the day. Above all, the hotel staff - all of them - are extremely kind and helpful. So attentive, they merit the very highest praise and are exceptional. (Completely unexpected was the generosity of the hotel management after the appalling April electricity blackout that affected all of Spain.)

My departure, after such a lovely beginning to the trip. The best. (A couple of small additions in the bathroom - but anything requested would be provided immediately, so this wasn't a problem.)

Hotel itself is very nice, same as the common areas, top roof small but good for chilling a bit, very clean room and friendly staff. I also got a very nice courtesy from the hotel. It’s about 10-15min walk from the main touristic areas

The rooms are not very well isolated so it is very easy to hear a lot of noise from the neighbor rooms - eg. moving stuff around, closing doors, high-hills, even some conversations…

The staff were very helpful, we were there over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, meaning not much was open, but staff were able to get us some ice and had helpful hints as to where we might find restaurants. Room was lovely, modern.

The hotel building(s) having been of historical importance, I was expecting something with character, but it is all very contemporary/modern. Not bad, just not what I had expected!

The staff is the best thing about this place! Everyone is warm, friendly and approachable. We will definitely return to this hotel because of them! Justo and the reception team also kindly gifted us an icy bottle of sparkling wine too, which we enjoyed after a long and hot day-trip to Cordoba (the highest it got was 47 degrees). It was greatly appreciated. The buffet breakfast included a good variety of food and was well stocked. The hotel is also located close to the main shopping strip, and was very convenient. The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely architecture, has a lot of history and is well maintained.

The pillows were too soft for us, but you can request for a firmer pillow from reception.
