Hotel was very well situated near the Metropol Parasol (Mushroom). Other main attractions within 15/20 minute walk through streets offering shade from the sun. Helpful and friendly staff. For those who need it, Wifi is good. Lots of places to eat and drink. My guide book jokes that 'Seville seems to have more restaurants than people' and you almost believe it as you wander through the city. Unlike some Spanish cities where it can be difficult to get food at certain times of the day this does not seem to be a problem with numerous places for breakfast; and dinner available at many eateries before the customary 8.00. Lots of air conditioned shops along streets also, offering souvenirs and well priced clothing.

Although not the hotels fault we had a room on the 1st floor at the front of the hotel and for a number of the nights of our stay we were woken during the early hours, generally by people making their way from the closest bars/restaurants.

Great location furnishing and finishing touches in the hotel were of a good standard. I must say the smell as you walk into the hotel, was beautiful. I wish I asked what this was. The room was a great size for a family. The shower was beautiful especially after a hot day. The mini bar was reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful.

I feel the roof top pool area could use a revamp. It was basic and didn't reflect the decor inside the hotel. We are breakfast but just to say the fruit and milk were gone off on one occasion. Basic breakfast but still a selection to choose from.

The location of the hotel was very good, a little tricky to find, but very central to all the place's of interest. Good restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Exploring the narrow alleyway's and passages takes you pass classical architecture leading you to plaza's with orange trees, the air full of the scent of orange's. A place to sit down and escape the heat of the sun.

Trying to navigate around the city using Google maps is problematic due to the signal dropping out, because of the tall buildings, and when the signal returns your original route directions have gone and a different route appears. Use good old fashion street maps.

The hotel was very attractive inside, and the location was perfect - 10 minutes walk to Cathedral area just a 1 minute walk to the Las Setas square, a lovely vibrant area with lots of restaurants & bars, and the Las Setas ("The Mushrooms") structure itself with its market below and viewing platform on top. My hotel room was particularly good as it has its own private terrace which got the afternoon sun. The breakfast buffet had everything I think people would want including cereals, cooked food, cold meats, yogurts, sweet pastries, breads & spreads, juices, hot drinks. A lift to all floors was a benefit. As it was March the roof top pool wasn't yet open so I cannot comment on that.

Although I didn't say anything, I couldn't get sufficient hot water out of the shower head so had a bath instead (not a problem for me). I did however, report that the hot water ran out on my last night. I am sure that they would have fixed the problem for the next guest as all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Easy walking to most attractions in the old town. Ammenities good. Pool nice. Staff all very nice /helpful at checking in and with some local tips.

We had a room at front of building (106)?and street noise loud at night. Just groups walking home from partying but till early in morning. Was going to ask to move after first night but only there 2 nights so put up with.

I really liked the location of the hotel it was very central. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and the separate shower was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful. Maria on Reception was very friendly and helpful.

The volume on the TV didn't work. The hotel handyman had a very quick look at it but wasn't interested in coming back to fix it. With the exception of Maria on Reception, the other girls on Reception were not in any way friendly, they eoild hardly look up from their desk to acknowledge guests.

Everything about our room and the hotel and breakfast was first class. The room was lovely large and very clean as were the communal areas. The breakfast was freshly prepared everyday by a very pleasant gentleman,and topped up as required ,he kept it spotless. All the people that worked at this hotel that we had contact with were very pleasant and helpful. Going by the outside of the hotel you wouldn't expect such a lovely inside just as the photos. The hotel is local to all the main attractions.

We can't think of anything this hotel could do to make our short stay any better.

Loved this hotel!It had such a Spanish feel about it and was in a great location.All staff were so friendly and helpful and our room was immaculately clean.Nice comfortable bed and soft fluffy towels and it was a bonus having a coffee machine which was topped up daily.Our room had an outside balcony which was good and it was also useful having a room safe.Very nice loungers for sunbathing.Small rooftop pool.Good selection of fruit and pastries at breakfast with scrambled egg and bacon plus cereals, yogurts,cheeses,cold meats etc.Overall a fabulous stay!

Great location and had a pool for super hot Sevilla days. Beds and pillows were comfortable and bathrooms a good size. Staff were amazing and so kind and helpful.

We booked a room without a terrace but more inner space. Unfortunately we were moved to a very tiny room that had a terrace that was too hot to use. When asked to move rooms to what was originally booked, we were told we had to check out the next day with all our things before noon, and wait until 2 to get our proper room. Unfortunately we just decided to skip the hassle and deal with the closet sized room that was beside a noisy storage area for housekeepers.

Location was great, just round the corner from Plaza Alfalfa and the fantastic Bar Alfalfa. We particularly liked the fact they had free iced cold water 24 hrs a day in reception - we stayed in 5 hotels on our trip through Spain and Itaca Sevilla was the only one to do that, which was much appreciated in the heatwave.

A bit noisy in our room overlooking the street with people coming from the mushroom to Plaza Alfalfa, but it didn't keep us awake.
