The location is good, close to the airport and car hire office. The accommodation is in a quiet street and is very clean. Excellent breakfast

Not really a dislike but the air conditioning was a bit fierce woke up in the early morning feeling cold . Obviously I had not regulated the temperature correctly.

Place was safe, comfortable, decent wifi, daily room cleaning if you required, 5 minute walk to the train station. Madrid is getting pricey to find a hotel, if you don’t mind travelling the 20-30 minutes on train / subway lines into downtown then a good option. lots of pretty good coffee shops and restaurants close by.

Place is a little worn and dark. I found a strong cigarette door through the place. The front staff were doing their job I guess but in three days not a single “ good morning “ as we were coming or going just sit there in utter boredom. I had hoped the place would be convenient to the airport, not really….. options were train back to downtown Madrid then take the airport subway line or 20 minute taxi, there may be better airport hotel options.

If you are after a hotel 12 to 15 mins drive from the airport to stay in, this is great. And at a fair price. What was once a swish hotel but now very well maintained. Staff v.helpful. Nice local restaurants and bars too.

Everything worked well.

The room was clean and included a bathtub and shower. Breakfast included coffee, toast, eggs, cereal and cakes was included at no additional charge in the morning and was a nice way to get some food before setting off on the Camino.

Breakfast and location well supported our needs. Great AC. The rooms were usefully arranged, and well appointed. The woodwork, doors, and finishing touches are exquisite! Thank you for hosting us.

My guest thought the bed too firm, but is very discriminating.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were some restaurants within walking distance of the hostal.

It was noisy in the late evening with guests, I'm assuming. Doors slamming past 10pm.

Good location for a night whilst awaiting pick up of clients. Welcoming staff.

It would be better if breakfast was provided, especially as the cost is relatively high for Spain.

The hotel personnel were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately, the air-conditioning unit placed near the ceiling began to drip water and people in the next room were talking verly loudly at 3 a.m. They did quiet down when I banged on the wall.
