Highly recommend staying at UMusic Hotel in Madrid! The location is incredible; you can walk or take public transportation to all the city's sites. The hotel is very clean, all the staff are friendly/helpful, and the breakfast was tasty. Eduardo (guest experience manager) went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time during our 6-night stay in Madrid. If there are hospitality awards, Eduardo deserves them all!

Fabulous hotel. Very central in beautiful Madrid. We had a fantastic experience. We were staying to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We got an upgrade to a suite which was absolutely beautiful. The 2 welcome drinks were had on the rooftop bar. Such a relaxing place. And the anniversary gift of a dessert and cava were very much appreciated, and absolutely delicious. Breakfast in the hotel was delicious and the live music was beautiful. Massive shout out to Chrissy (I hope that's right) in reception and Eduardo in guest relations.. Thank you both for your kindness. We will definitely return.

We truly enjoyed our stay at U Music Hotel. The boutique design is beautiful, and the atmosphere feels modern and welcoming. The staff were outstanding, very friendly and attentive, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us when our airline canceled our flight. The location is also excellent, with so many of Madrid’s highlights within easy walking distance, which made sightseeing effortless. Overall, we loved our experience here and would recommend the hotel for travelers looking to enjoy Madrid’s vibrant energy and central location.

The rear entrance of the Hotel faces a lively street, in the evenings gets noisy with busy with crowds and police activity outside. The minibar is filled with alcoholic beverages, not ideal for those traveling with kids and teenagers.

Our week at the UMusic Hotel Madrid was fantastic! Service throughout the hotel was genuinely warm and attentive, without ever feeling stiff or formal. The perfect location on a quiet corner near Puerta del Sol made it easy to explore central Madrid. Even during a 10-hour power outage, the hotel’s generator kept elevators running and common areas safely lit, highlighting their excellent preparedness. The rooftop bar is outstanding, offering stunning views and friendly service. Breakfast was delightful, with attentive staff and relaxing live music—an excellent start to each day. We highly recommend UMusic Hotel and look forward to returning!

Mattresses and pillows could be a little bit softer

Wow! I really enjoyed my stay at UMusic. The first morning wasn't the best because of some constructions going on in the place, but the moment I raised this concern to the staff they made everything they could to promise work will be discontinued. The hotel staff were so kind, huge appreciation to Eduardo the guest experience manager who was great, kind and had bunch of awesome recommendation for places to eat and hang out according to my prefernces. The room was faboulous with supreme design and city view and the atmosphere in the roof top was chill and fun. I loved it and I will definitely come back. Location is great just next to the Plaza Mayor.

We had a premium guest room with terrace. The hotel is extremely well located, close to all major tourist outlets and shopping. Breakfast is extensive and gentle live music is played in the breakfast area. The room was well appointed.

The balcony unlike as pictured in the photographs is not private or certainly was not for our room 506. The rooms with balconies abut one another and the planting is sparse between them. This meant that the person in the adjacent room to ours could see into our room if they were standing on their balcony unless we had the blinds down. Also whilst the counter staff appear to be fluent in English, care should be taken if booking say for example transfers as in our case a transfer was almost booked on the wrong day despite the staff member writing down the information I gave her and appearing to understand . This miscommunication occurred more than once. Otherwise the staff were friendly and aimed to please.

Location was great! Rooms were very comfortable.

Pool separated in another building. Not a huge issue but you do have to take two elevators to access it.

UMusic Hotel is a relatively small 5 star hotel with a unique location and history. Ambience and feel is great from the beginning, front officers friendly and helpful. Room was fresh, spacious and and top clean as expected ... and mine was just across from the pool. Breakfast was delicious, colourful and with a nice little a la carte selection ... always of exceptionally prepared. Live music in the restaurant everyday in the morning from 9.00. Pool was in great condition. The area .
