The room I stayed in was completely new. Everthing was freshly painted, clean and absolutely comfortable. They replaced my sheets every day and also gave me fresh towels (which smelled amazing by the way). The hotel is so central - a few mins walk to the Sol metro stop and loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Sleeping was comfortable as the room has air conditioning and is super quiet. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is unbeatable. You can walk to the train station (Atocha) and to the center (sol) yet it's still quiet. It's easy to check in and it was warm (I was there in the middle of winter.)

The toilet was very close to the wall and a cover for the blanket would have been nice.

Good room for the prize , we stayed in the private room , small room but at 35euro a night was a bargain comes equipped with everything you need. Location was good plenty of bars around you and good nightclub next door.

Like I said at 35 euro a night you pay for what you get and this was a bargain for the room and size so no moaning here

Location is bang on. Just 100 m from sol square. Supermarkets and food joints are just down the street.

It doesn’t have lift. We have to carry our luggage from ground to 3rd floor. No assistance offered.

Staff were friendly and accommodated me directly when I asked to change rooms. Location is very convenient. We went on foot everywhere and did not have to use public transportation or cars.

The street is very vibrant and can be heard from the rooms. A better isolation is recommended to be able to sleep better at night.

Location is best! 2 blocks away from the Plaza del Sol station which is really convenient. Several stores which are convenient as well (bodegas, pharmacies, restaurants) However, and this is not about the hotel, given that area is very popular during the nights there might be noise going into the room. Noise went until 4 AM on saturday night!

Bathroom could have a holder specific the 'telephone' (where the water comes out from when you shower), you had to put it against the structure itself which was weird. Side note, and this is mentioned on previous posts as well, rooms are on a 3rd and 4th floor. Highest floor is 65 steps. Then again, not hotel-related but the building.

Great location. So close to all the main attractions. Very safe. Always smelled fresh and clean when you walk in. Cannot hear the street noise despite it being in such a busy street.

Everything was great

Great room, bed was confortable and room even had a small desk that helped me to work for a bit. Bathroom had a great shower, always with hot water available.

Sounds isolation wasn't really good, I could hear a bit from other floors. Other than that, pretty good!

Location, staff and facilities are perfect!

Bed and pillows could improved, they were quite thin and after walking Madrid all day long you could fill it , still can’t complain!

I arrived at the hostel at 3 am, so the working reception was convenient. The location is good. For an overnight stay, a very convenient hostel, for a few days - no.

The room is very small. The only small window overlooks the well between the houses.
