The room was very spacious, and while the window was to a narrow interior patio and we had to use electric light all the time, it was not an issue for us. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and very functional (good space to leave toiletries, very nice sink, excellent and spacious shower). The temperature of the room was ideal, and it was very very clean. Both, the reception and the housekeeping staff went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay.

The hotel has labyrinth-like corridors and it was easy to get lost. It took a while to learn our way, but we took it as a funny anecdote. The rooftop terrace/bar is only open Wednesday-Sunday, and tends to be too crowded.

We were in town for a few days and the central location of this hotel allowed us to enjoy much of the city in between meetings. The room was spacious and comfortable. The Shower had massage jets, which was a fun surprise. The view was of an interior court. We were fine with that, weren't looking for anything fancy. We didn't take breakfast as we both start the day with just a coffee. There was a fun coffee shop right around the corner. The hotel has a rooftop bar and seems to have spa facilities. None of this fit our schedule and wasn't why we booked. Overall, quick and efficient service; a clean and spacoius room; a good desk to work at. We were happy.

The room has a mini bar but not a coffee machine. I've become used to rooms having complementary coffee service. I also would have been willing to pay. We made due by going out for coffee, but it did disappoint. Also, while we did not plan to use the roof-top bar, we would have entertained the idea. However, of the three nights we were there, it was closed for two and rained on the third. Again, we might have been able to enjoy it in the rain, but it really didn't fit our schedule, so we never got to try it.

This beautiful hotel is right in the heart of the action — as a New Yorker, it gave me major Village vibes: trendy restaurants, buzzing nightlife, and charming shops just steps away. But the real star of the show? Nicole, the concierge (Aura Host extraordinaire). She didn’t just help us book our high-speed train to Barcelona — she hand-wrote a note with our tickets and another sweet welcome-back note for our return. When we arrived back in Madrid, our luggage was waiting… along with chilled champagne and fresh strawberries. Talk about rolling out the red carpet. The rooms were sleek and stylish, the staff warm and welcoming, and the entire experience felt like a thoughtful, luxurious dream. ME Madrid doesn’t just meet expectations — it dramatically exceeds them. We left feeling spoiled, impressed, and already planning our return.

I wanted a building with some character and a balcony, and this was perfect. It’s beautiful. The room was comfortable, and the balcony was magical, especially in the morning. The breakfast was excellent! The staff also recommended a very good restaurant. The location is amazing … easy walk to the Prado and retiro park.

There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom, except one for shavers only, so it was difficult to dry my hair with the blow dryer in the morning. There was some lettering that said “it’s all about me” in the room which I found offputting.

First of all thank to the people in charge of the web page our request was answered with promptness, and in a very helpful and professional manner. The hospitality of the hotel staff, the cleanliness of the room and the awesome rooftop we love it all. We may advise for the reception to promote the areas of the hotel including hours of services with breakfast, rooftop or any other amenity. The lady was very friendly and offer the breakfast but with no specific details of hour and place of been served in the hotel. The security people very attentive and in in the rooftop very friendly. I have to say that when I visit Madrid in a future this will definitely will be my hotel.

The hotel has an outstanding location. The room was exceptionally cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful, making my stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The price was very high—more expensive than my stays in London or Paris. I also didn't appreciate the hotel prominently advertising itself as a "queer destination." The stickers highlighting this seemed unnecessary to me.

The hotel was lovely, and the staff (mostly) were helpful and friendly. The location was perfect.

The only thing that annoyed us was a very unfriendly grey haired man in the lobby as a greeter or something. He was very cold and rude! He had just handed an umbrella to a gentleman so we asked if we could borrow an umbrella. He just shook his head no and walked away…..I then went to ask at the front desk and asked. The young woman quickly went and got us an umbrella!!

great location, strategically located to the center. Plenty of food place nearby. A few minutes away from SOL metro station. Great Room with balcony overlooking Plaza de Santa Ana, comfortable bed and great staff specifically to the lady who assist us during our Check-in last April 26 (unfortunately i was not able to get her name) but her attitude is really commendable, very polite, accommodating and helpful. The smile on her face while assisting us gives me the real feel of warm welcome. Kudos to her. To sum it up, it was really a great experience staying at ME Madrid. Highly recommended.

Room: The room was a decent size. I booked one with a view, but unfortunately, there was construction going on right outside. In my opinion, this should have been mentioned in advance or reflected in a lower rate for the "view" rooms. Breakfast: Good selection, with fresh juices and a reasonable variety. You can also order one dish à la carte, which is a nice touch. Location: Excellent. Just a 20-minute walk from the train station and right in the heart of the city center.

Very centrally located. Incredibly friendly staff on arrival (Helen was so welcoming!). Room we had which was a “standard” room overlooking the courtyard was quiet, large for a standard and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable! We chose as well for the roof top bar which we really enjoyed - great cocktails.

Only small criticism- we went twice to the roof-top bar. The staff clearly did not recognise us on the second evening, which was disappointing (the same hostess who found us a table the first night asked us if we were hotel guests the second night - bizarrely once we were shown a table we had to not only go to the bar to order, pay, we had to bring our own cocktails back to our tables. Never experienced this before at a 4+ hotel before. But apart from that everything was great and we will almost certainly come back again!
