this was a good option for a cheap, short and last minute stay where i just wanted to see the city of madrid.

my room had the smallest window in the world so i had no natural light. but it made sense for what i paid lol

A wonderful return to the old times, fitness to the fourth floor by beautiful wooden stairs. Absolutely fabulous location in the heart of the old town. As expected, I was exceptionally satisfied, for the combination of sightseeing and attending a football match at the Bernabeu stadium an excellent choice. Next time I will choose the same again.

La ubicacion was great, there was no elevator and had to go up 3 floors with big suitcases and another thing the room had no airconditioning in working condition we had a fan in the room

The location was perfect, it is close to all the main sites to visit in the city center of Madrid, I had a 3-day pass to use the public transport, but it was not needed to be used, as I could walk to all the spots, thanks to how close they were, I think the room was really good in terms of quality-price, it was well cleaned and had a comfortable bed, Additionally it is worth to mention, that i is really easy to get there from the airport, either by Bus, Metro or Train. I personally took the Metro and it was really easy to get to the Sol Metro Station and from there walk to the CH Plaza D'Ort Rooms.

The only two things to mention could be is, that if you are expecting a great view from it, probably the room I was assigned is not an option, but if you are not expecting this, and you want to use the room mainly for sleeping-in and to rest, I think it is perfectly okay. but something to be aware of is that the building has no elevator, which is perfectly okay, understanding that it is an old building and probably regulations nor space, does not allow the construction of it.

The location is amazing. It's really convenient to stay here for a few nights. The personal is really nice, they speak very good English and there's a 24 hour reception.

There's not a lot of space in the room to pack the luggage. It's hard to get fresh air in

the cleaners did a fantastic job - everything was always spotless, including shared bathroom, location is great and room was nice :)

no one helped me with my massive suitcase up the stairs, even when reception checked me in - I also don't remember having read that there was no lift & I needed to lug my suitcase up around 6 flights of stairs!! Some of the younger guests on the same floor were increibly noisy and had no consideration for anyone else - it was very peaceful without them

It was so nice , the room was clean and so quiet the place of the hotel so close to sol and plaza mayor even around the hotel u can found a lot of restaurants and coffee to stay in , the stuff was so nice and helpful i like it so much and if i come again to Madrid i will take it again

They don’t have elevator it was hard for bags and for coming and going

Great location, great rooms. Staff we're brilliant when there was a leak in the bathroom and immediately changed me to another. Definitely stay here again.

You get what you pay, great location, decent room, confortable place in general.

One more sharing bathroom would be great.

It’s not something that can be done I supposed but an elevator would help people with mobility issues.
