the apartment itself was really nice, on the smaller side id say max 2 people could stay here comfortably, you have everything you need and you are pretty central to everything. I loved that they had a washer and dryer/ drying rack/ great coffee machine comfy bed

for me the biggest thing I didn't like was that the shower door entry, its a a slide to the side type of shower door and the max size of entrance was about 12/13 inches and you cannot open it wider, so if youre at all big, do not stay here as you won't be able to fit, I found myself having to squeeze through the door to shower every time so that was a big thing that didn't let me fully enjoy the apartment. also the pillows could be a little more supportive. and lastly the apartment is next to a few bars that dont close till about 5 am if you sleep with the fan on its faint but if youre a light sleeper bring earplugs. also no elevator only stairs

This place is AMAZING! Superb location just 2 minutes from Plaza Del Sol and 7 minutes from Plaza Mayor. Some of the top tapas bars in all of Madrid are just a few doors down (Casa Toni and Casa de Abuela). The best Spanish tortillas are at Pez Tortilla across the street. The oldest flamenco in all of Madrid is visible down the alley (1911...awesome show). The Prado and all the other museums are 20 minutes walk down Calle de las Huertas.

There's a night club next door. It gets pretty noisy. We travel with a Rhom white noise machine, which made all the difference.

Loved everything! location is very central, walkable to nearly anywhere touristic. The apartment is stylish, very clean and comfortable Saw some comments about the night noise from the clubs nearby - didn’t notice any loud music, but if you are sensitive sleeper it might be a problem

The owners asked for a deposit of 200 euros (2night) - that is OK but we didn’t plan this in our vacation budget, and it took 8 days after check out to receive it back. Such details I prefer to know in advance

The easy of getting into the apartment, the location is right in the heart of the city but also quiet within the apartment, good amenities if wanting to staying in and cook a fab little balcony which would of got the sun through the day if it was out but unfortunately it rained for us but come out on our last morning just before leaving.

It is on the 4th floor so lots of steps to get to this apartment but we knew this when booking but other guests might find this hard as there is no lift

The check in process was quick and easy and the room was available ahead of time. The apartment is in a very central location and easy walking distance to most attractions. Great cafes and restaurants all around. The apartment itself was well laid out and had everything you need - washing machine is a bonus. There is noise from below until late at night however it is muffled and it didn’t keep us awake. We had a great stay and would recommend.

There was a bit of an odour coming from the toilet or drain - we have experienced this before in other apartments in the older areas. It wasn’t too bad - some room spray would help. We knew about the stairs from other reviews - they would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues.

Nice apartment, clean and stylish, very central location. Very close to Sol station and lots of very good eating out.

Note very lively area due to being in the centre of the night life area. On a square where the night life seems to congregate. Note Spanish nightlife goes all night. Kitchen equipment needs updating none of the knives were sharp enough to cut up salads.

Easy and clear check in. Very central, close to Sol Metro and Cercanias. Good sized supermarkets (Dia) within 5 minute walk. Everything provided that you need for staying a few days.

As noted by others. I was on the third floor which was awkward with luggage. When I was there it was loud until 7 or so in the morning, but the windows do a very good job and it did not keep me awake

Ultra-central location, easy access to the 1st floor. Very clean, the location is equipped with everything necessary for a week's stay. The communication with the administrators of the location is excellent, willing to help you at any time. A bit noisy in the area, but it's the center of Madrid and you assume that from the start, based on previous reviews.

Nothing to complain about, I would come back anytime with great pleasure.

Met my needs perfectly. Easily communicated about how to get the key and various check out instructions by using What’s App. Few trees near by but plenty of plazas where folks gathered. Lots of restaurants and small grocery stores near by. Not exactly a relaxing part of town but ideal for being a part of a charming, bustling city. I felt very safe. The apartment itself had everything I needed. Air conditioning, large refrigerator , plenty of hot water.

There were nice thick windows and even shutters which shut out the street noise very well. But I was surprised how many people were milling around day and night. Seemed like everyone was “ looking for the heart of Saturday night. This historic neighborhood is popular with tourists and is within walking distance from many sites. Just could not figure out when or if anyone slept. But I had a great time people watching from the little upstairs balcony.

The lady who met us was genial, very instructive and helpful. The apartment had all the amenities and was situated in a vibrant hub in Madrid. We felt very safe. There were many important sights within walking distance.

No elevator. We had to take 4 heavy bags and climb four floors.
