I really enjoyed my stay here ^^ The location was amazing, right in the center, which made it super easy to get around and explore. The room had some thoughtful touches like a coffee maker and free snacks. It was also cleaned every day, which I appreciated. The space itself was a bit small, but it was more than enough for two girls, especially since we were out most of the time anyway. We had air conditioning, and even though the hotel is in the center, our room was quiet and we weren’t disturbed by any noise. It felt comfortable overall. One thing to note: the street leading to the hotel is lively, with lots of souvenir and food shops and people occasionally approaching to suggest bars, flamenco shows, etc. (It’s Madrid after all :D <3 ). It wasn’t a problem for us, but just something to be aware of. The staff was okay <3 I’d definitely recommend this place if you want something central, clean, and cozy.

This is very modern and very clean hotel right in the heart of Madrid within very easy walking distance of all of the major sights. I booked the room at diezmadrid as a last minute change from a hotel I had originally booked out near Barajas Airport after a quick check to see if there was anything half decent at a reasonable price closer to the city centre. I was delighted to find this hotel priced at only a couple of euros more per night! My double room for single use (room 213) was quite small but perfectly adequate for my four night stay. The mattress is very comfortable and I slept well. The shower has a good pressure and is nice and hot. The free wifi is strong and stable. I would happily stay here again if I am able to get a similar price for the room and the air conditioning unit is operable (as it was not on this occasion).

All of the lights in room 213 are concentrated around the head of the bed, both the solitary ceiling light and the bedside lights. This means that the rest of the room is poorly lit even when all lights are on. The bathroom light again does not light the bathroom properly. Only the area around the washbasin is lit; the shower and the toilet are very dimly lit. Additionally, the room was, even at the end of January, very warm and I could not get the air conditioning unit to work. Opening the window sufficed at this time of year, but I think it could be a problem in the spring and summer months.

Great value for money and very nice perks. Very central yet affordable and renovated. Very comfortable and clean. Chips, and wine upon arrival with free cold water bottles throughout the stay. Friendly staff who let me keep my bags despite no lockers.

There is basically no sound proofing so you hear everything your neighbors does and those passing in the hall. They do provide ear plugs for that and the music at night from the club across the street. I was in the inside of the building so it was a faint beat.

The room was clear, clean, well-decorated, and illuminated. The bathroom was clean and new and the shower was great, there was also a good hairdryer. The location was great, less than 5 minutes from Sol metro station and close to everything you may want to visit and to commerce. A Nespresso machine was available in the room along with capsules of coffee and milk and a small bottle of Rioja wine when I arrived. The capsules (2 of coffee and 2 of milk) were refurnished daily with room service. Mineral water was available in the reception hall, which was very nice.

I've had a bit of a hard time finding the place because I've arrived at night and with pouring rain. There is no sign, it is just a regular door and you have to look for the DiezMadrid name on the intercom panel beside the door since there is another hostel sharing the same building.

Perfect location and modern, clean room. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Plus, the owner and staff were very nice. I worked from my room for a day and the wifi was strong enough for video calls. The room also has a coffee maker with coffee pods and some snacks, which was a great touch. If I return to Madrid, I would stay here again.

The room was impeccably clean, and cleaned every morning. The slower was really great, much better than what you would expect from a hostel. Great location too, smack in the middle of Madrid. The members of staff were very helpful: they facilitated self-check-in when our flight was delayed, and were always quick to reply to our messages.

The mattress was on the firmer side. This is not necessarily a bad thing if you like firm mattresses, but I am used to softer ones. While the hostel was surprisingly quiet considering its location, all rooms share the same hallway and the sound of guests entering and leaving could bother you if you are a light sleeper.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had checked out and left on our last day but had to return due to the weather and they still greeted us warmly and stored our luggage for us! The hotel was very clean and the location was conveniently close to everywhere!

If you have migraines or are a light sleeper, try to avoid this place because the bar music downstairs doesn't stop until the wee hours of the morning every night and there is a lot of singing! My wife didn't sleep almost every night . The pillows in the hotel were not very comfortable

Very modern, well thought out rooms. Excellent location. The rooms had a lot more than I was expecting, nespresso machine, robe slippers etc. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean.

It is my fault because I didn’t read the reservation properly but I wouldn’t have booked if I knew my room had a shared bathroom. Even though the bathroom was clean and I never had to wait to use it. I hated that I had to walk down a long corridor to get to it & that everyone in reception could see me go in there. For £80 per night I would expect my own bathroom. That said everything else was perfect.

Location was FANTASTIC! Right by Puerta del Sol, it was close to everywhere! Restaurants were literally steps away. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was how tiny and cramped the space was. We could hardly move around when we open our luggage on the floor to pack/unpack! There was also only one tiny low stool to sit on apart from the bed. The TV was also super tiny and too high on the wall. We also thought the shelves were like something that anyone could’ve just hammered in the wall and painted. There was no closet and no fridge - it is really just a bed and bathroom kind of accommodation. Fir that reason, I found it very pricey for the size of the space.

Too cramped for two people with two suitcases!

It was extremely comfortable and the location was amazing, easily within walking distance from everything. It was spotlessly clean and the cleaning service every day is a great facility. No problems checking in or out despite checking in late in the evening and leaving early in the morning. Very quiet and peaceful as well.
