Really nice resort, on the beach in Torremolinos, access to multiple pools and different terraces for sun bathing, rooms and hotel in general were clean and in good condition. Entertainment and staff were good considering it isn't particularly an "all inclusive" type resort. We only had breakfast, which was nice with a large selection.

They are totally refurbishing a wing of the hotel which meant one of the pools was shut and one of the others was directly below all the building works, which meant noise and dust during the day. The family room we were in was probably on the small side for us (2 adults 1 preteen), we only stayed two nights so it was ok for us, but if you were staying for a week it might be an issue.

Perfect location, easy access to beach city center, not so far from train station, a lot of markets and shops around the hotel. A different types of restaurants and good menu in hotel, friendly staff, kids zone where we leave our 5 years old child in safe, many shows like Flamenco, Caribbean nights etc. Staff is brilliant, they don’t speak English very well, but was very helpful and friendly.

The rooms condition is old, yes it’s clean and comfortable, but need a renewal, and the elevators is really dangerous, the motion detection not working there as well to detect the human and stop closing the doors.

Nice hotel with beautiful courtyards, full of plants and pools. Breakfast has many options. Balcony is a nice asset to chill in the sun. Little indoor pool was never busy. Enteirtainment shows every evening. Cocktails in hotel bar were really good. A few minutes walk to the elevator which takes you to city center for 50 p - recommended if you are not in a walking mood uphill.

Dinner choice is not very different from breakfast, little to no meat selection. We spent 1 hr at reception to arrange a simple case once which did not leave a good mark (whilst the other receptionist was really fast and efficient).

Incredible location. Right on the beach and walking distance to all amenities, although most things available on site. The stay started well, with a superb lady on Reception (called Ana). She took the time to listen for the reasons for my stay and made me feel so valued, despite the fact that I was only a short term guest. A fantastic mix between being highly professional and caring. She spoke excellent English and took some time (as Reception was not busy) to help me a little with some words of Spanish. When I got to my room, it was very well presented and extremely clean. I had booked a 'sol' room and it was very quiet which was perfect for me. The breakfast was great! Very varied and enough space. Lots of sun loungers around and it was really good to have use of an indoor pool.

None of the outdoor pools were heated so quite chilly! While I was there, the neighbouring hotel (Don Pablo) was being renovated and so the main pool there was not available. I didn't hear any building works but I guess there must be a bit of noise sometimes.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, they engaged with our 10 year old boys on a daily basis. The room was big and kept clean. There were plenty of pools to choose from and even though they were cold the indoor pool was nice and warm. The beach was across the road and there were plenty of bars, shops and restaurants outside of the hotel; the hotel was nice and quiet even though it was in amongst the action.

The meal options for us as pescatarians were not the best, one night they did offer a veggie lasagne as a change. We were lucky that we do like fish.

Location is excellent 👌 Hotel is sparkling clean. Staff mostly helpful and friendly.

Queuing!!!! ....... I waited in a que for 33 minutes to buy a drink in the bar.....and that was with 3 people serving......I think some further training is needed . All three worked at one speed.....SLOW. Also mealtime ques at the two incredibly small lifts. And not forgetting the massive building site next door ! ! ! Be mindful of mobility scooters in this hotel ...... they are everywhere.

Hotel is part of a big resort and all facilities are shared with other Sol Torremolinos hotels, which is good. Many choices of restaurants, beach is right across the street, room is comfortable, staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good, variety of choices and different every day.

We had a few ants in the bathroom; also toilette brush is missing (but this is not the first hotel I see in Malaga with missing toilette brush, so it might be something cultural, however, it is highly inconvenient). Pools were overcrowded so we did not even try to swim there.

Don Pedro complex is very nice, not so high (4 stories I believe) in a green lush area, well preserved. All rooms have balconies. Ours was facing the pool, but we could also see the sea in the distance, that was pleasant. It is comfortable, there is an elevator, two dining restaurants to choose from, spacious area at the reception, a pool bar. Two pools were fantastic and I liked very much that the staff did not tolerate sunbed 'reservations' by clients by throwing a towel in the morning. After some time they were removed and sunbeds were available for coming guests. And yes, the hotel has a special area for play for the little ones. The food was very good, plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. The location is just great- you cross the street from the hotel and find yourself on a long stretch of the beach. There are many cafes and restaurants in the beach area. If you do not mind walking in each direction, you can find various types of cuisine. It was really excellent, nothing more to wish for during a vacation.

The rooms are not very spacious, but all right. We were disappointed in the beginning when we were assigned to rooms on the 1st floor and the balcony was right above the entrance roof. This meant that there was no proper view and the balcony was rather a closed cubicle. But when we asked the reception for a change, they very kindly found us other room up on the 3rd floor with a much better view the next day. I did not like coffee from the machine in the restaurants. And I did not like that drinks at dinner, which you had to purchase on top of your pre-booked meal were really overpriced.

We booked Don Pedro (2 adults + 7 y/o) but were moved to Don Pablo — a great surprise! Excellent for families: great location, multiple heated pools, kids’ activities every day, tasty food and quality drinks (amazing mojito!). Renovation works were well managed in closed areas, no disturbance at all. Highly recommend!

bed a bit unstable, bathroom lacked ventilation.

We came for a quick 2 day trip and I wish we’d booked for longer. The hotel was clean and all staff were so friendly, welcoming and pleasant. We arrived in the early hours due to a delayed flight but the security and reception staff made sure we were looked after. Food and facilities were all good. There is some construction work but it didn’t disturb us at all. Evening entertainment was great and kept my 5 year old amused. Loved it.
