Breaking our car journey from Alicante to Santander ferry this hotel fulfilled our need for a restful overnight stop. The hotel is ideal for a stop-over being within easy reach of the motorway. The room was comfortable, there is good sized bar area and dining room (for dinner/breakfast). As an added attraction, the local village is remarkably pristine, and suitable for an evening stroll. The old village square has just a few cafes/bars. Curiously many of the older houses have had a secondary brick outer leaf added (presumably for increased insulation) but with original historical windows and doors still visible behind the new facade.

Outside first impressions were a little daunting until we realised that the entire building is being clad in substantial thick Rockwool type insulation and rigid panels - (and "NO" this is NOT fire risk plastic foam). The front is complete and greatly improved, with work on the back proceeding during the day - so not affecting us at all.

The breakfast was lovely, I like that you can serve yourself and if you need anything the staff are extremely helpful. The bed was super comfy and clean.

I feel like the last couple of times we have stayed, the rooms could do with a refurbishment, the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and its a shame as the accommodation is well worth what we pay - thank you

Front of house staff,Vanessa was great and really helpful-nice :) the bar was great and the restaurant was fine for the fare on offer. The hotel is adjacent to the A62 so very good for all point navigation to anywhere you might be headed-Santander ferry etc...Shell garage behind the hotel also had a handy store for the basic provisos and as a whole was very good even though renovation was ongoing at the time.

Perhaps some more choices for breakfast would be good?

A lovely hotel we have used quite a few times for an overnight stay en route to Bilbao. Good value for money, we paid for a breakfast which was plentiful and buffet style, lovely selection, the staff were lovely and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel could do with an update but it was clean, comfy and tidy. We will use again next year as the location is ideal.

The room could have used an update but it was clean and tidy.

The convenience to the motorway and its facilities, excellent parking, simple checkin, one priece bed, breakfast and evening meal so no need to pay add ons etc. Fair choice of menu on the set menu offered, superb breakfast

We asked for a double bed only offered twins on arrival due to other bookings albeit I booked hotel months in advance but still content with hotel due to above

Easy access and in house bar/cafe. Basic meals but good value for money and the staff were great. It's a clean and basic motel that's out of town so if you want a plush urban hotel it's not for you.

It's a motel close to a motorway and situated at a truck stop/services so there is traffic noise and all hours coming and going in the carpark - not a problem to me but old "bat ears" heard everything 😂

The staff were very helpful, the room was good, the food in the bar was excellent.

We wre told we could access a lift from the garage parking and this is true, but, if you arein a wheelchair it is unusable as it accessed by stairs. The towels for the shower were on the other side of the bathroom, quite a way from the shower.

Great place for a stopover on route from South to Bilbao ferry. Good value for money. Staff varied from friendly and helpful to indifferent. Room basic but perfectly fine. Would definitely stop again.

TV system disabled to prevent guests changing settings. Considering the proportion of international guests, it is a strange policy to force them to be stuck with only Spanish language and no way to disable the annoying sub titles on all channels. We used a laptop to access IPTV through mobile MODEM instead.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. My wife has mobility problems and I requested a ground floor bedroom and was very pleased to be allocated an disabled room which was superb. The room was very clean, comfortable and the dinner and breakfast excellent. Overall, a very good stay and good value for money.

I was impressed with the operation. Efficient and helpful reception staff. Good bar and restaurant. Nice breakfast. It was hot while I was there. Even with the key card out of the slot by the door, the aircon stayed on - quite rare in my experience.
