Room, breakfast was fabulous, the room was clean & staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel was in a perfect location & close to tranvia , shops , pilar & city& cafes & bars amazing value for money.
There were french African students, who practically took over the hotel , ie breakfast restaurant. Seating areas, at night it they were extremely loud & kept us awake every single night til early hours of the morning where they would congregate in each others rooms or on their phones in the corridors. I’ve stayed here before & there were no issues, but the experience this time was so bad , that we will stay elsewhere in future visits

Brimming with character this hotel was located perfectly within reach of the old town - just across the road, the river and Basilica. Staff were really helpful despite my awful Spanish. Really unusual interior like a grand hotel from the 1920s that has been preserved. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an authentic pension at a budget price!!!

Despite numerous reviews expressing concerns about the hotel’s dated decorations and design, we found these elements to be among its most charming and original features. The hotel exudes a unique character and ambiance, a rarity in today’s hospitality landscape. It’s full of art, feels like you live in the museum. Furthermore, its prime location greatly enhanced our experience, offering excellent value for money and making our stay particularly memorable
Nothing, everything was good.

The manager and staff are very helpful. They address right away the little things we requested, like the shower head and extra pillows. Everything went very well. Breakfast is great. Even the free drinks (cervesa etc.) are a bonus. We loved our stay here, very near to everything just walking distance.
Nothing much. There was a little smell on the toilet but the manager was very helpful addressing it right away.

The interior was really cool. I enjoyed my stay there but nevertheless it had some flaws.
The staff barely spoke English. The street was extremely noisy. Punks smoking, screaming, drinking, dancing right in front of the hotel door. The noise stopped at around 6 am. The streets to the hotel were vary shady, smelled like urine and dirty. The bathroom was looking interesting and even though cool, unfunctional. If water got out of the cabin it had nowhere to go so you were left with a nice river in the bathroom. The tv didn't work, the fridge was for decoration mostly.

There's a style to this building that's just amazing. It may not suit everyone – and it is not a 'modern' cookie-cutter hotel – but we really enjoyed the old-world opulence of the lobby and common spaces.
If anything about this place were made 'better' it would not be the same. We enjoyed it for what it is.

Hotel is small, has really beautiful halls. It's old.Room was average, but clean. Breakfast is average, but for ~5€ it's ok. Stuff is helpful, I left my luggage after check out, which was important. Perfect location, near all touristic sights, supermarkets and cafes. You got what u pay for,it's 3 star hotel, not 5.
I had a bit nosy neighbours.Everything is old.

Breakfast was excellent especially considering the price - have paid far more before for a breakfast that bore no comparison
Could have done with some directions to the parking and instructions on how to enter before arrival. Ended up getting a police escort from a complicated road system 😎 to the car park entrance but then had to walk to the main hotel leaving the car outside the parking

Location, perfect for Basilica and food market, the staff were very helpful and were happy to arrange taxis for us which was essential for our stay breakfast was basic but delicious and plentiful
Nothing to dislike really, bang per buck I’d say it was more than adequate there weren’t many frills but it suited our needs

Location was really great, central.
It was a bit chaotic, some items broken in room and durning breakfast they where serving also workers or migrants and many of them where stuffing food in bags, so coming late could mean your missing out on some things.
