This hotel was in such a beautiful setting, theyve really made the experience of the hotel almost like a spa! so many plants around that made it so peaceful. the ponds also had a terrapin swimming around! The pool was also great! We had a late night swim as we arrived quite late. Mr Silva and Mr Asoka were so friendly and welcoming, they made us some lovely coffee for when we arrived. They also helped us with transport to Lions Rock at very short notice, the breakfast was also super yummy! Thankyou so much!

Many mosquitos, but I think the area just has lots!! Come prepared with spray!

Amazing staff. We are a family of 5 staying in the family room. The room was large, comfortable and had everything we needed and a kettle with tea/coffee etc. The shower was the first proper hot water we had in Sri Lanka which was a great touch and just what we needed after a long safari. The air con was cold. The breakfast, lunch and dinners were all superb, varied and the Buffet dinners were brilliant fun for our family so everyone could choose what they wanted. The location is great for safaris and Sigiriya rock etc. The hotel manager arranged the safari and all transport to places, which was no problems and high quality, he was great. Amazing quiet place in the jungle with a nice pool and loads of outdoor areas to sit and read etc. The Spa experience was amazing and pretty much in the hotel grounds. The staff could not have been better, they were helpful, chatty, friendly and lovely hosts. The resident iguana was also friendly.. Thankyou .

Very minor but wear socks in the pool as the tiles are old and sharp and we all got small cuts to start with but socks did the trick. Nothing else as is was all excellent.

Recently stayed at A4 Villa & Spa and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is exceptionally calm and clean, providing a perfect retreat. The Sri Lankan breakfast was outstanding, featuring a variety of delicious local dishes. The highlight of my stay was the staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering warm hospitality and attentive service that truly enhanced our experience. During my stay on a weekday, the hotel was not crowded, allowing for a peaceful atmosphere. The pool was clean and well-maintained, with minimal chemicals, making it a pleasure to swim. I highly recommend A4 Villa & Spa for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Habarana!

Much awaited second time visit, service and the quality is still the same after 3 years. They have renovated the old rooms and it's a great job. Clean rooms and good food.

They have messed up the room rates initially as we booked 3 rooms, but finally sorted out everything. This looks like an issue with Booking.com app. I think Booking.com needs to identify issues with rates not tallying with customers and hotel ends. I have noticed this issue several times. The discounted rates are not reflected on the hotel end. Please look into these issues.

We booked three rooms here for our group. The hotel was very peaceful and pretty with the different areas thought out really well. The pool was great with lots of room around it to hang out. The rooms were big with A/C and a ceiling fan. There were hot showers which were rare from our travels around Sri Lanka. Our room had a lovely little porch area outside where we spent a lot of time relaxing after our days in the National Parks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty, they offered Sri Lankan and Western style. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked good. An easy 2 min drive, or less than 10 minute walk from town, with ATM, Cargills and lots of restaurants. This far exceeded our expectations, especially for the very reasonable price.

- the staff was very kind and helpful, they organized a safari for us on the first day we arrived and a driver for the following day to go to sirigiya very early in the morning - food was amazing, they even had a buffet for dinner which was very cheap - nice and very relaxing pool - there’s a very nice spa right next to the hotel which I recommend to try - room had 2 double beds

everything was perfect, they made our stay very pleasant

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, very clean and tidy. The pool was a hit with the kids, with a wading section just for them. The food was tasty and they happily organised some local tours for us.

The shower pressure was a bit weak, although the hot water was working well. There was a slight water leak on the bathroom floor from the sink.

Ambience is too good.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get halal food. But the staffs are ready to provide me whatever they could. I can understand the priorities for the foreigners but if the management could make some arrangements to cook the pork in a separate utensils it would be much appreciated (Only if they want the muslims to be comfortable with their meals). Just a suggestion only.

For 1 or 2 nights this hotel is perfect. Comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff are very welcoming and will do anything to help, from cooking less spicy food to advising about places to visit. Not all of the staff speak English, but the owner is always on hand to help. Highly recommended if you want somewhere in good location to many of the tourist sites. One piece of advice, make sure you have cash as the card machine will only accept local bank cards! Thanks to everyone for a lovely stay.

Relaxing pool area, surrounding garden, near shops and restaurants, very nice and helpful staff, great breakfast, very reasonable pricing, close to all tourist locations

The rooms would deserve an upgrade (doors, windows, bathroom, A/C). It caters well to local standards but deviates from Western ones.
