Beautiful location with clean rooms. Staff worked hard to provide good service but…

Attempted to eat at restaurant- took over 2 hours and food cold when received.

The attitude of the hostess and staff is at a high level. Ocean view directly from the room. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. There is a refrigerator and a kettle, cups for tea. The hostess treated us to 4 glasses of Amaretto, which was very nice of her. The restaurant is located on the ground floor right on the ocean. This creates perfect comfort. My family and I decided to definitely return to this wonderful and kind hotel, for the wonderful hotel and lovely Elina (the owner). I am in the hotel business myself and would highly recommend it to any guest looking for accommodation in Sri Lanka. I recommend this to everyone. 10+ 🙏

Room was very spacious and clean, breakfast was spot on, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the location is perfect, after going for a walk to the other side of hikkadauwa beach I realised I'd picked the perfect hotel at the quieter end 👌 turtles everywhere 👌🏼 loved it and would highly recommend

It was very comfortable and clean. They only accept cash which is annoying they do not tell you advance. The TV did not work which is the only reason I paid for that room. The room had alot of ants in it.

the staff were wonderful! always happy, couldn’t do enough for me. my last day I had to wait around 5 hours for my laundry before I travelled to unawatuna. everyone made sure I had everything I needed, kept my bags safe and I relaxed on the beach until I was ready. they also helped me get a taxi. they offered to clean my room daily (sheets, towels, swept the sand etc) I had to ask for soap when I arrived but everything else was there. sri Lanka currently has daily powercuts and the only thing I could have used was wifi / power during this time as I’m working online and they didn’t have a generator so I had to tether my 4G or there’s a few hotels close by that did so it wasn’t a problem. the sea was choppy so you can’t really swim this time of year but so beautiful. couldn’t have been a better location. i miss waking up a few steps away from the beach and hearing the ocean from my room. breakfast was simple but fresh and good. overall great value for money. if you are on a budget but still need a clean, lovely, beautiful environment this is a great choice!

the netting on the door was old/ a bit mouldy I think and the room smelt of mildew I guess when I walked in. to be honest I got used to it (this would usually be a big thing for me!) and was tolerable for the price and all the other positives!

I liked a lot the owner sisters... great characters! And yes, the location is super... the sea is just there a few meters from your room! Ok breakfast! Rooms also quite nice!

I booked 8 rooms with a sea view... 2 of the rooms had just a wall view!

Great location, big clean room, friendly owener, and some of the staff were very helpful .

Some of the staff were very moody, two boys who served in the bar, they must learn how to looks after and customers ,and how to smile

from the Restaurant it‘s a stunning view on the ocean and the wonderful white waves.

the price is fine, but unfortunately, there was no room-service for 5 days.
