Suwa Arana was up a street from the main road which I appreciated for the quiet it offered. I stayed in a new, very clean room towards the back of the property which was a good size with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The family which managed the place were very friendly and helpful. After a couple of weeks of travelling, I was happy they offered laundry services for a reasonable price. The place was easy to find. There were also me good place to eat nearby for breakfast or dinner and I could easily walk to the beach from there.

I liked everything.

The room was so crisp and white and clean.. it had a kettle, which is always a plus. It was a short walk to the beach. Mirissa is a really nice beach and has lots of nice restaurants. All the staff were very helpful too and allowed me to check in early as i wasn't feeling very well. I'd really recommend staying here. The room also had a fan and air conditioning. It was also very close to an exceptional breakfast and brunch place called Extreme Cafe..

The hosts were amazing, one of the best I found! The place was well located, clean and comfortable. WiFi reliable and rooms with mosquito net and AC were a plus! You have a kitchen with a fridge you can use and they rent scooters at a good price so you don’t have to look around for it. They also arranged us a safari and ride for Dickwella for a good price! Definitely recommend and would stay again, great value for money

The kitchen could have more utensils or the rooms could have a mini fridge but it was great that they have a kitchen with an available fridge that we could use

It was very affordable, good price for a 5 night stay. There was a fan and an AC. The room is spacious, has chairs, a small table and a closet.

The wi fi was very slow unless it was early in the morning, to the point I couldn’t really use it. For heavy sleepers it might not be a problem, but I would wake up early with the noise of the cleaning just outside my room.

This place is in a convenient location. Very close to the Mirissa beach and other significant places in Mirissa such as Coconut tree hill. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They even organised a tuk tuk for me to go to the beach early morning with very short notice. It’s not a fancy place but it has basic facilities for a comfortable stay and it’s value for money.

This is just a suggestion for them to take into consideration. There is a common kitchen in the property where you can make your tea/coffee or a simple meal. There was no kitchen towel in the kitchen. There were lot of water on the bench top where the kettles were. I had I had to use my own piece of cloth to wipe the water out before using the kettle. It would be nice to add some basic items in the kitchen.

Clean room with an AC working perfectly. Beach at walking distance as well and the main strip of restaraunts and shops. Bed was comfortable and the room was generally clean. Mosquito nets were provided which was a big plus for us. Staff were lovely ☺️

Bathroom may need a bit of a deep clean but very minor issue.

The room was very big and clean. It was in a great location, only a 5 minute (if that) walk to the centre/beach. The host was lovely and gave us a plug adaptor free of charge as we did not have one suitable. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

There were a few mosquitos making their way in to the room from the bathroom but there was a mosquito net to solve this issue when sleeping.

People are really nice, location is perfect, room is clean.

The bed was really old and make a big noise with every move so during the night is not good and ut wake up everybody else if you turn or move a little bit.

The room was amazing with a private balcony perfect for watching the monkeys and hearing nature. So close to the beach, family were amazing so helpful.

Tea and coffee in the room would be nice/ a breakfast option but still loved it and would definitely stay again!!

Huge rooms, nice shower, super comfy beds, small balcony with trees around and two peacocks in the vicinity to wake you up at 6.30 every morning. That was more than enough for us.
