The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a nice big terrace. However there was a smell in the room and also in the whole street due to a canal that had stagnant water in the dry season. The hotel common areas unfortunately lack attention to detail and charm. It would be easy to change with a few plants and paint I guess. The highlight is the aquarium and the short walk to the beach. Breakfast was offered for 1500 slr.

Very friendly owner. Comfy bed. Lots of charging points. Incredibly central but super quiet, which is so rare in Sri Lanka.

Cold shower in the morning. Terrace was poky next to our room due to being on the end. No mosquito net as pictured but owner got us a plug in straight away when we mentioned and offered to switch our rooms next day. Building feels a bit like a multi story car park. The noisiest cat you have ever heard!

We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel is located perfectly with the beach at 2 min walk, and also really close to boutiques, restaurants and ATM. The staff is really nice and helpful and got us great deals to do the Yala safari and for the transport back to the Airport. In general the hotel is clean with big rooms and bathrooms. We also had a nice big terrace.

This hotel was amazing, the room is specious and very comfortable the beds are comfortable and all the room is clean besides that the room has a closet, desk, hangers,fridge,boilers which you rarely found in other hotels I really like how friendly the stuff are and they helped us with booking the whale watching and booking a driver to drive us for our next destination I highly recommend this hotel, if am visiting Sri lanka again this hotel will be on my list

The accommodation is pretty close to the beach, approximately 3min. There is an ATM in between as well. A lot of Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The rooms are big and clean. They offer laundry service and help organizing trips or transport as well! With little luck you can see some Monkeys in the trees from your balkony.

The location of this property was amazing just 1 minute walk to the beach and the main road. All the shops and restaurants are nearby. Rooms are nice with all the amenities and the owners are helpful as well.

Nothing to dislike

We had a lovely stay at The Beach Inn Mirissa, the location was super close to the beach, so it was very easy to get around. The staff were super accommodating and very friendly! The breakfast was also great for value and very tasty!!

Such a friendly family! They helped us good with whale & dolphin seeing and fixed a car last minute for transfer to Colombo. The hotel is really nearby the beach and the bed was very soft. And everything was clean! Also they asked what breakfast we wanted and it was delicious. We wanted traditional food, so got idiyappam with dahl, fresh fruit, eggs and tea. It tasted really fresh.

The staff was super nice and welcoming, and made sure that we had everything we needed at all times. The WiFi was soooo good and the breakfast was amazing.

I have no complaints. The power went a couple of times but it was all good.

The room was clean, spacious and had a lot of natural light. We really enjoyed treating the monkeys to some fruit in the morning, sometimes they would come to our shared balcony. The owners were great, and super polite. The location is fantastic, it's a 2-min walking distance from Mirissa beach yet it's not too close to the street and we didn't really hear the traffic noise. Lots of nice restaurants nearby.

The only two things we didn't like were that the room didn't have hot water on cloudy days so we had to shower with cold water. Also, the AC was placed in a way that the air was blowing right on the bed and we were getting cold sometimes.
