Accessibility to the property and beach. Calm environment and restaurant arrangement.

Some of the restaurant staff did not thoroughly care about the questions we asked and did not see any willingness to help us. When we were walking to our rooms, an old local lady suspiciously questioned from us where we are going. We got wondered why we were questioned like that since we have paid and booked a room for 2 nights. We observed that they mainly focus on foreign travellers and pay less attention towards local guests. But some of the hotel staff and that old lady should understand that they cannot determine the purchasing power of people by segregating them as foreign and local tourists.

Really great place. Best place we stayed on the south coast as budget backpackers. Comfortable sunloungers right on the beach, friendly people. Good onsite restaurant (expensive but so is the whole area). Central location, right next to the turtle sanctuary with many restaurants and shops around. Good little room with a balcony, working wifi, air-conditioning and hot water. Friendly people too & we were able to keep our tuk tuk safely on site as there's a parking area.

Breakfast Included or option at discounted price would make it better

Our experience at Central Beach Inn was absolutely wonderful! The staff was exceptional—always friendly, attentive, and eager to assist, making our stay truly comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The other facilities provided were equally impressive, ensuring a hassle-free experience for families. The location is simply unbeatable—right on the beachfront! Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the stunning views was a highlight of our trip. Whether it's a morning stroll on the beach or soaking in the sunset, this place offers the perfect setting for a beach getaway. Central Beach Inn is an excellent choice for families looking for a blend of comfort, convenience, and breathtaking views. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location, right on the beach and just a short walk from the coastguard tower where at 17:30 you can watch the baby turtles being released. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. Tea, coffee and water provide in the room.

The only downside for me was that the seaview room we chose was right above the bar so you had music playing until around 10:30 at night. Alright for most but for us old farts who are in bed early we had to use earplugs. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.

The front of house staff are friendly and welcoming and the Inn helped me book a car to pick me up from the airport. The room itself was a bit run down and dated, but considering the price I paid (far lower than even a cheap Travelodge) I knew what i was getting into. The room had all the basics you’d need, such as Mozzie nets, fridge, safe, shower and most importantly air con! In fact that thing was so powerful my room invariably would be like a meat locker. But the food was absolutely lovely and there was also one other top trump that the Central Beach had over anywhere else: The Staff. In the 13 days I was there the staff did absolutely everything perfectly. Every day I was greeted with a smile, a fist bump or a high 5. In soaring heat these guys never stopped. They are without a doubt an amazing asset to the business and made my stay so comfortable and brilliant that a million thank yous would not be enough to cover it. Special mention goes to Namal, a brilliant bloke who never failed to make me laugh. It was the kind of stay I could have only dreamed of, but having now done it I just want to go straight back. And thats because I stayed at this wonderful place, an absolute bona fide ‘Bohemian Paradise’.

There were a couple of downsides. The Bar and the Inn are connected (they are run by the same family) but you couldn't put food and drinks on your room for instance and pay it off at the end of your stay, but that was a minor inconvenience. Also the sunbeds on the beach would be taken in at 4.30pm which felt a bit early but they had to set up the evening dining tables. The room was a bit tired, with the walls a bit shabby, and the bathroom tiles had seen better days but considering the price I paid to stay for 2 weeks I knew what I would likely be getting so none of that phased me.

Central Beach is located directly at the beach and is an ideal starting point to discover Mirissa and surroundings. There is a supermarket, many restaurants, small shops and ATMs abailable in 1-5 min walking distance. The Central Beach Restaurant is directly at the beach offering everything from breakfast to dinner, sunbenches and a nice spot to hide from the short rainperiods if you‘re here a bit off season. :) Moreover parrot rock, coconut tree hill, surf stands and many beach restaurants are pretty much directly available. The service was great, the reception, the room cleaning team and everyone we have spoken woth was extremely forthcoming and friendly. Ok top we had the chance to get our laundry cleaned and rent a motorbike for a day to explore Ahangama & Weligama. We booked the seaview room and even though it‘s a pricier than the others and we do travel on a budget - this was so worth it. We had a big room with a wonderful view. Everyday, we woke up to an incredibly beautiful view of coconut trees and the waves crushing in and loved it. Absolutely recommended. After 4 days it was really hard for us to leave as we have

As in every other stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far, there were some ants who lost their way through our room, but nothing major and it is the way it is and there was a moskito net already prepared, which I’d recommend, mostly because it generally makes me feel more comfortable in tropical countries :) Even though the room was spacious, somehow there was little room to put our stuff on. Maybe a small desk or a small table would help :)

We had an amazing stay at Central beach inn The location is so perfect right on the beach This accommodation is for the young or young at heart, great music and a party atmosphere ,day and night ,the food is fantastic, the fresh seafood every night is the best , the highlight for us are the staff 💯these guys are always smiling so helpful and working great together as a team . Perfect location right on the beach with close proximity to shops and restaurants. Our Deluxe triple room was large and had a large balcony with some sea view and privacy that we appreciated. The three bed is actualy king+queen bed so our two kids comfortably slept on it. Food in the restaurant was realy good, fish always perfectly done. They have a happy hour 4-7pm coctails only 800rp to watch amazing sunsets. I would come again.

As other reviews say it can get a bit noisy at nights but thats the price you pay for the location. Family slept well.

We loved that it was on the beach! we loved that we always got a sun bed and the sea was really fun! We loved that we got our own space/ toilet. If i was to stay again i would pay for the nicer not the cheapest rooms- even though we had a patio - if we had the more expensive rooms the patio would be in the sun so our clothes could try, and we would have had a kettle for tea/coffee in the morning. Breakfast one morning was very good but very expensive + sri lankan breakfast has to be ordered one day in advance

the wi-fi didn’t work in the cheapest rooms, it worked great at the restaurant bar though. We had lots of mosquitos (a net was provided), we even had a frog in our bathroom one night + lots of ants. But that’s the problem with ground floor rooms near a beach! Our AC didn’t work - we couldn’t be bothered getting someone to fix it though as the fan did a good job, the AC only stopped working after the torrential rain that fell on our first night (which nearly flooded the place) However staff were so smooth and charming they opened some drains and prevented a flood!

the location is great, the hotel is right away on the beach. you just jump from bed and go to the beach. sunbeds are free for the residents. food is pretty good, but the breakfast is not diversative. i only ate fish during my stay!

the beds blankets were not enough, but i requested 2 more and they gave it to me. single room does not have even a kettle!
