The best location when traveling with a family. Food is great, swimming pool perfect and bungalows are spacious and clean. Millions dollar view of the ocean and beach!

Couple of recommendations: * We stayed here for a week. However we got asked 15 times per day what our room number was. To check if we were aloud to stay at the pool for free. Please stop doing this. Make sure that the staff remembers you so you feel welcome. * For us as a family with a young kid, the diner could have started earlier than 7pm, but I understand this is more a personal preference. * The location and bungalows feel and look superb. However, the main building looks a bit old and dirty, especially from the outside. When you are in your room, at the pool or inside the restaurant you don’t notice this. But I think it would improve the experience if the main building gets some attention.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which is in a perfect beachfront location with stunning surroundings. The buffet breakfast and dinner were of good quality, with a nice variety of options. The staff were very helpful and attentive, making our experience pleasant. Overall, this is a good hotel with excellent food and service, but the rooms and balcony safety urgently need improvement for a more comfortable and secure stay.

However, the hotel bedrooms feel quite dated and in need of updating—they appeared tired and worn. A major concern was the balcony doors, which were not secure, and the balcony itself felt unsafe. The decking was unstable, and the balustrade seemed dangerous, making it unsuitable to stand on.

Fantastic sea view room, room was huge with separate seating area, very modern bathroom and comfy beds. We booked half board as the price was so reasonable and didn't expect the choice and quality available at both breakfast and dinner. Super attentive staff (sometimes a little too much!) both in the restaurant and around the pool/beach areas. The view is outstanding. Only little hiccup was an hour wait for our room on arrival, very tired after the journey down from Ella and eager to get out at the enticing views from reception. Tipping staff is a little confusing also as some waiting on staff seem to want to provide a one to one service(not required for us!) And the housekeeping come and find you daily for your key and ask if you want the room cleaning, as they don't have access otherwise. All in all a fabulous hotel in a truly lovely spot, and great value, highly recommended .

Lovely spacious clean hotel with immediate sea view and pool. The waves sound are relaxing. A wonderful Ayurvedic spa. Rooms are clean, bright and next to pool. Every night pool closes at 7pm so it's a quiet night. We had a good sound sleep here every night. We love the half board with very good breakfast and dinner. There is Sri Lanka food fare and international too. It's safe and secure plus supermarket is just a very short walk. Very impressed with the staff. Staff helpful and friendly. It's beautiful eating at the 2nd restaurant as the day n night view is awesome. Clean pillows, clean bed and all electric works wonderfully.

The location on the beach was great and the pool very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast and dinner buffet plentiful.

The rooms were a bit tired with many things that needed fixing - like the lock on the sliding door to the ground floor balcony, curtains also needed some attention. There was a resort a few doors down that had very loud booming music until 1am on the Saturday night!, which was very annoying when trying to sleep - not sure if this was a weekly occurrence or not!

We spent two nights at Paradise Beach Club Mirissa and loved the relaxed charm of this colonial-style beachfront property. Just 50 meters from Mirissa Beach, the location is ideal for beach lovers who want to be close to the shore without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Although our stay was met with continuous rain and we had to cancel a few planned activities, we truly enjoyed the slow-paced comfort the hotel offered. We spent time walking along the beach, relaxing by the beautiful swimming pool, and soaking in the rain-soaked views from both our room balcony and the dining area. The dining area itself is like a large open-sided balcony—airy and inviting, offering stunning views of the sea without compromising on comfort. Our reservation included both breakfast and dinner, and both meals were served buffet-style with a good variety of options to enjoy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The furniture may appear slightly worn, but it added a nostalgic, vintage charm that suited the British colonial look of the hotel. Another lovely feature is the bar cum activity room, where guests can play billiards, chess, or other games. After a hearty dinner, we enjoyed a quiet game of chess there—such thoughtful amenities made our rainy days all the more enjoyable. All in all, Paradise Beach Club Mirissa is a peaceful, charming retreat that offers great value, wonderful views, and a comforting atmosphere—even when the weather isn’t on your side.

Bathroom amenities could be better

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities. Good range of food at breakfast and evening meal buffets for both meat eaters and vegetarians/vegans.

Prime location, right on Mirissa beach. So many locations e.g. Coconut Hill, beach bars, Parrot Rock were within walking distance. And it's a super clean beach, with super clean water. The food was decent enough and we got a deal for breakfast and dinner, which was super helpful. The staff was extremely friendly and cooperative.

The lighting! The room lighting wasn't great at all, very outdated. And there was white light in the bathrooms which was horrible. It's a pity that this is the case, because everything else about the hotel is great; one can walk along the beach and see the other resorts that are there, and Paradise is absolutely better. But the other resorts have far better lighting

- great view - delicious breakfast and dinner and the restaurant has a wonderful view to the ocean - nice pool and beach.

- there isn't any kind of juices or even water included in the dinner buffet. - wasn't comfortable with the restaurant staff they keep roaming around the table and the moment you finish the last bite of your dish they come and pick it up ( it is supposed to be a good thing, but when it is repetitive it tends to be annoying ) it gives you a feeling that you should just finish and leave as quick as possible ( even tho most of the tables are empty )

The hotel location. How accessable it is to the absolutely amazing and beautiful beach. The staff were amazing. They could not do enough for you. The food was first class. The hotel bar was reasonably priced in comparison to the other beach bars. The wildlife that were were able to see. Wow. Turtles, monkeys, all kinds of birds. Lizards. All made our stay truly magical. And would definitely recommend. Thanks to the hotel. Simon and Sharron.😊
