We recently stayed at the Fenix Inn in Lund for the midsummer holiday and had an absolutely fantastic experience! As four families reserving five rooms, we found the hotel incredibly convenient and accommodating. The host, Scarlet, was extremely hospitable and kind, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. She went above and beyond to ensure our rooms were close to each other, attending to all our needs throughout our stay. This family-run business is perfect for families with kids, providing a welcoming atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. Despite the hotel’s location near a country road with some traffic, it didn’t bother us at all. The building houses some spare car dealers and a car workshop on the ground level, but our rooms were on the second floor, and we experienced no noise issues. Our timing was convenient as those shops were closed during our stay. One major plus was the free parking available at the hotel, which made our stay even more convenient. While there was no breakfast provided, the amenities were superb, particularly the shared kitchens. One kitchen was extremely spacious and fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals, including breakfast. A special touch that stood out was when we mistakenly thought the checkout time was at 12:00 PM, only to find out it was actually at 11:00 AM. We scrambled to get ready, but Scarlet was incredibly understanding and reassured us that it was okay, despite the mix-up being our fault. She was never rude and maintained her welcoming demeanor, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, Fenix Inn is a fantastic place to stay for families, especially during holiday seasons when other businesses are typically closed. The early checkout time 8.00-11.00) might be a point to consider for future guests, as it can be a bit rushed, especially for larger groups.

Nice clean room for overinight stay during the way back from our holiday trip. The staff was so nice, they moved our dates two times because our car had a problem, so we were three days after schedule and also allowed us later check-in after all of that. Fully equipped clean kitchen and nice staff. Easy parking in front of the door.

Really nothing to complain about

We were a group of friends and we stayed for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel facilities. The hotel is very close to the bus station 5-6 min walk and 5 min to the city center by bus, and also close to Nova, the shopping center. The room was very clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back again!

Perfect place to stay, clean, big room with everything I needed for a week stay and working online. Superb place if you come to visit the child studying in Lund. Everything was clean, common kitchen well equipped, private parking right in front, friendly staff and you can even use the laundry.

I have been in Fenix inn before and came again. Place is super clean, room is very nice and functional for several days stay and remote working.

I really liked the cleanliness and the full kitchen. Good location the 4 bus takes you to the center in five minutes.

Price and staff. Also free parking space.

Pretty uncomfortable bed… I can’t explain what’s wrong with bed, but it was uncomfortable to sleep.

In the shower there was a small delay in draining the water.
