The room was clean, with a nice kitchenette The staff was very friendly and helpful. On the second night we were directed to the rooftop terrace and had a lovely night before going to sleep. The breakfast was good, good selection, fresh fruits were only available on day two after a request. Since the weather was nice, we could sit outside which was totally relaxing. We were actually supposed to stay at the villa, but for some reason we were asked to go to the room in the hotel itself, which was much nicer as it further away from the road. So whoever mixed that up - a big thank you!!

The room was rather hot when we came as no one had opened the windows beforehand (of course, as we weren't supposed to be there in the first place). The apartments in the Villa are probably a bit more noisier because the building is right beside the road that crosses the German/Swiss border.

The hotel is a building from 1904 that has been recently upgraded. The staff was very friendly. Everything was very clean. The hotel is a pet friendly environment and surrounded by nature. The room size is okay for a couple with a small kid. The breakfast was delicious!

Unfortunately, the hotel does not have Air Conditioner (although it has heating for the winter) - I was in Contanze during the summer and the room was a little too hot at night. Although the shower is really good (lots of water), the size of the shower box was not that big.

Great place, with good location. Walking distance to Kostanz(about 25 min) however in hot days it's better to have a car! Nice garden especially for our two small size dogs who enjoyed the first and late walking of the day. Breakfast is also very good!

There is not air conditioning for hottest days! However Windows are equipped with screen against fliers so we could leave them open in the noght.

The rooms and the hotel have a really nice atmosphere. Breakfast is good and the staff does a very good job! The river and the old town are within walking distance (10-25 min). Dog friendly:)

The room got pretty hot at night and there was no airco or fan in our room 210.

there could have been a bit more variety and choice at the breakfast buffet and because it's an old building, you hear everything from the neighbouring rooms

The ambiance of this country estate, the rooms were well designed. Plenty hot water and bed was comfortable. We are cyclist’s and we’re able to park our bikes in garage. The breakfast was amazing, with some top of the line choices one usually doesn’t find on the buffet. delicious assortment of cheeses and cold cuts, hot out of the oven bread, fruit salad and the most amazing muesli porridge. And for those with sweet tooth and array of sweets to choose from.

maybe nitpicking but the pillows were kind of cheap an not comfortable.

We stayed here for three nights, this hotel was a very good choice. We had all the convenience we needed, enough parking space and nice breakfast. It is about 15 minutes walk to the center of Konstanz. Thanks for a nice stay.

The hotel is very nice in old English style. It is located few meters from the German border that you have to cross to go in Konstance. The breakfast is continental There is a nice mobile home with elegant fornitures in the hotel parking where guests can smoke.

If you arrive by car you have to pay the parking 10CHF. The breakfast is continental but the sweets part is not complete in my opinion (some slices of cakes would be great) The floor heating system in the room can't be adjusted and during the night the room was too hot (we had to sleep with the window slighy open in November!)

The staff were very polite, and the atmosphere was wonderfully tranquil. The breakfast was both satisfying and delightful. The whiskey options were also wonderful.

In a hotel of this caliber, I would expect high-quality, bathroom amenities (e.g., hair conditioner), to be provided.

- Overall decoration and attention to details (ex: fresh flowers on each breakfast table on Sunday) - Very confortable, especially the bed, and quiet - Large parking space (with extra fee), possibility to rent good bikes from the hotel, 10 min of easy, safe and pleasant bike ride to the old town/harbour

No ironing item either in the room or at rhe reception
