Great location - middle of Konstanz, near the station, lake, and the Münster. Room was lovely and spacious, decorated really nicely too. I had a great view of the street. Both of the women working on reception were so lovely, really welcoming and prepared to help in any way you needed! Some mini shower gel/shampoos in the shower too which was lovely. My bed was incredibly comfortable. You also receive a card so you can take the public transport all around, which is great for anyone without a Deutschlandticket.

Quaint little hotel in the heart of the old town. We had a small twin room with a window opening out over the cobblestone laneway. Friendly staff who were very helpful - offered to assist with suitcases down the stairs. Free refreshments and fruit bowl at reception was very welcoming. Shared bathroom was clean and tidy. Hotel provided bath robe and slippers. Short walk to nice restaurants across the river. All within walking distance of train station.

No elevator for suitcases. One flight of stairs to manage, but not too bad.

Very good location. The train station and ship traffic are only a few hundred meters away. The room was very small, but cozy. Very well placed on a tiny surface. Despite being in the city center, it was quite quiet. The windows opened onto the courtyard. The hotel staff was very friendly.

Problems with fixing the shower head in such a position that you can wash your head. It felt like it needed a little tweaking. The fan did not work. Luckily the weather was cooler and I didn't need it.

Hotel was in a lovely part of town with lots of shops and places to eat. Hostess, Jeanine, was very helpful when we checked in and shared a great deal of information about the area with us.

The weather was too warm/hot to close our windows at night and there was a lot of noise from the outdoor cafes on the street right below at night. The hotel had only one small patio area with just 3 or 4 tables for refreshments or relaxing which was nice when we could get one.

Great location and hosts, very accommodating and friendly, efficient and straightforward. Facilities clean, warm and modern especially given it is in the old town in a historic building. Please realize it is in the historic old town in an old building so the rooms are sufficient but not as large as a new-build hotel outside the old city. But I was fine, it was clean and efficiently designed and well worth the "efficient" size to have such a wonderfully convenient location.

My only complaint was the wifi was terribly slow. No big deal since the stay was short and not for business, but for business I would have had serious problems given the speed of the internet. That said, no hotel is perfect and the larger, modern hotel buildings are on the outskirts of town. The amazingly central location of this jewel really lends itself to tourist visits and for using google the internet is fine.

The hotel location was fantastic! The building has a lot of character and had a lovely romantic Christmassy feel. 5 minute walk to the Christmas Market and about 10mins to the train station. The hotel owner was so lovely and she even gave us a bottle of bubbly when we told her we had gotten engaged. The room was cosy, warm and comfortable.

The room was a little small but it suited our needs.

I think this is the best choice for solo-travelers and history lovers. The hotel is exactly in the centre - the old city is around you. There are many cafes around and the bus/train stop is pretty close. The home where the hotel is located is near 500 years old and is very atmospheric. My room was small but very cosy. The staff at the hotel is very friendly - they introduced me to the city's main attractions and bus stops. If you're searching for historic places and adventures, this could be the best place for you.

Staff was just fantastic, the owner even lent me a kettle and brought tea for my room. The location was great, it's in a very picturesque area and close to the train station. Room was comfortable and warm. I did have to share a bathroom but it was immaculate. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

This is a small hotel with few amenities, but very friendly staff and an absolutely wonderful location in the pedestrian zone of old town Constance. We booked one of the few rooms with 2 beds, but the room only had shared bathroom facilities. Everything was very clean. The room I was in was very small but adequate.

A lovely hotel in the heart of the old city. The hosts are amazing professionals, the kind of hosts that every traveler wishes to have. The room was kind of small but considering that the building is like a 200 year old building, space did not really matter. There is a restaurant on the ground floor, and shops nearby. Overall, an excellent experience.
