Perfect location: short walk from the main train station, passenger ferry port, and the city center. Far enough from main roads to be quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything appeared clean and well maintained.

Rooms are very small, not recommended for those that feel easily claustrophobic. Lack of air conditioning can also make the rooms uncomfortable on hot summer days. Konstanz is an expensive town, so while the pricing may be market rate, it doesn’t feel like a great value compared to what you’ll get in other parts of Germany.

The hotel was in a nice and quiet place not far from the town center and the lake side. The room was smallish but clean and comfortable. It had a small balcony overlooking a peaceful courtyard. The bathroom was tiny but spotless, and it had all the basics. The wifi worked perfectly. My check-in was contactless via an automated counter in front of the hotel. I didn't meet any staff which was very good as I like my privacy. The reception was usually unoccupied, and I only met the staff when I was leaving and submitting the room key. A nice place for a short weekend stay.

The room and bathroom could have been bigger. The room could have had a kettle and/or coffee maker.

Breakfast was excellent. A large personal platter of meats, cheeses, veggies, a basket of various types of rolls butter and jams. Hard boiled eggs and yogurt were also available. Super clean rooms. Location is in on the edge of the beautilful old town of painted buildings from the 1300's on a quiet side street. It is above a Turkish restaurant so easy access to dinner if needed. Just a few minutes walk from tthe train station, a shopping mall, the small city center with shops and restaurants, the lake.

No elevator so not good for folks who cannot walk 1 fight of stairs, but manager will carry your bags up the to the hotel level so that is not an issue. Hallway conversations can be heard in the room but as hotel is small, it was rare that guests were loud.

10 out of 10! Great location, less than a minute to a wonderful bakery with fascinating breakfast, less than 2 minutes to various supermarkets, less than 5 minutes to the old town, less than 10 minutes to the lake, calm area, cozy room, good service. Just don’t count on the drawer especially if you have long hair.

Very convenient location close to restaurants and historic district. Very nice coffee and pastry shop right around the corner, and for Americans, good coffee is super important. Nice spot inside and covered for our bikes. Our host was very and helpful. Highly recommend

Excellent location - the room was small but we were offered an alternative which we declined. Good breakfast. Everything was very clean.

The bathroom was very small. The breakfast was generous but a buffet breakfast would have been preferable to platters as this seemed wasteful. Decor was not to our taste but that's so individual and would not count against.

Quiet street, Easy access to the old town, shops & restaurants and swimming in the lake. Antonio was charming and helpful with local tips, like cycle hire, swimming and visiting sites- he highly recommended Meersberg, on the opposite side of the lake, and we loved the day out there, and cycling to Reichenau - the garden island, as we call it. A Wonderful stay on Konsanz.

Great place in the city center. Very clean and comfortable bed and bathroom. There is a safe park place in the backyard for bicycles. It was really convenient. The personal was very friendly and helpful.

Since it is in the city center could be quite noisy at night.

Quiet street, right off the train station. Easy check-in system which was well explained to me. Great value. Friendly receptionist. Room is clean, well attended to.

Wifi was non-existent in our room (room number 5). There's an Irish pub around the corner and on the weekends people will be making noise in the street. If you prefer to sleep with a window open, it may disturb your sleep.
