The location of the hotel is perfect 👌 the staff are excellent and very kind. We were struggling with the heat and the lady on reception allowed us to keep the room on for 1 hour extra which was much appreciated as we could catch our return ferry without being in the heat too long. Cleaning staff are super friendly and always smiling. This is our 3rd visit to the Viva sky and all thee rooms are beautifully decorated and bathrooms are all modern and spotlessly clean. The main thing that brings us back each year is the breakfast terrace on the roof , stunning views to soak in every morning.

For the price we paid there could have been a kettle and a mini fridge in the room. ( we booked the same room as last year but last year there was a kettle in the room )

The room was really nice. I liked that everything was really clean and tidy and they had all the amenities that someone could need. The location is super central and that was also really important, as I wanted to reach everything by foot. The bed was comfortable and I liked that I also had a balcony to catch some fresh air. I find also the terrace amazing and the staff really friendly.

Most of the times the internet connection was not strong and I kept losing my connection. I was also working from the hotel room for one day and it was really important to have steady internet connection. It was also not comfortable working from the room, as there is not so much space for it. I switched to the rooftop though and then it was better from both aspects.

During my visit I dropped down on the street. Bystanders brought me to Viva Sky and there they gave me ice for the pain and swelling of my face. They were very friendly and helpful. They called for the doctor and one of the employees drove me to a hospital, where I stayed for four days. After being discharged from hospital I returned to my room and there they gave my son (who came by car to bring me home} the room next to mine. Because I was still very dizzy, I left something behind at the reception when we left and immediate they informed us about it and asked us if we wanted them to send it to my house.

Because I am still very dizzy, at home I was not able for me to react to this message. So my daughter tried, but that did not work. We live in Holland and English is easer for us then Dutch, but still English is not ease sometimes. After several hours I send a short message to the e-mail-address of the hotel, but the mail could not be delivered. I tried to do it in my account in Booking.com., but this also did no longer work.

I made a last-minute trip to Konstanz and selected Hotel Viva Sky based on its positive reviews on Booking.com. It was a fabulous choice. Viva Sky is excellently located in the Old Town section of Konstanz. It is situated on the top two or three floors of an eight-story building; my room had a balcony with a beautiful view and the breakfast area includes a roof deck with amazing 360-degree views of the city, Lake Constance, and environs. Everything about Viva Sky was great, to the extent that I chose to extend my stay for an additional day. If I find myself in Konstanz again, I will definitely seek to stay at Viva Sky.

I was hesitant to book this hotel since it looked on pictures like an old high-rise building from the 70s. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is on the upper floors and the breakfast/bar area on the top floor, with outside seating to overlook the city. Very convenient location for tourisms in Konstanz. Everything is in walking distance. The quality of the breakfast was also excellent. I would stay here again on my next visit to Konstanz.

The best thing about the hotel is the wonderful roof terrace. Perfect for breakfast and evening drinks. The rooms are fine. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast is lovely. There are restaurants all around the area and the hotel is near the station and lake.

The entrance is a bit confusing. Mainly because it is shared with others. You need to take the lift that is up the stairs on the right but it is not immediately obvious when you first arrive. Maybe it could be better signed. There is no ramp up the stairs for bags either.

Everything - the location, the terrace but mostly the kindness of the staff- lighting candles for me with champagne and a muffin for my special day and the young gentlemen who work the night shift- especially the one who went out of his way to prepare me a sandwich for the next morning since I was checking out early!

This place is stellar-

This is the best hotel in Constance. Every member of staff is a credit to this hotel, always happy and would go above and beyond to help you. The room was great ( we did not upgrade) the roof terrace breakfast room overlooking the lake is awesome and so is the buffet breakfast. This is our second stay here and the quality of everything they offer has been consistent on each visit. Wouldn't stop anywhere else in konstance.

The breakfast buffet was the best I have seen in years of travelling. Excellent selection of locally sourced foods speedily replenished by the friendly, attentive staff. Location excellent. Close to railway station, local transport, shops and restaurants. Room well appointed with comfortable bed and excellent walk-in shower.

Everything was first class

Our stay a Viva Sky was perfect. Breakfast terrace and views amazing. Buffet breakfast was a treat. Loved every minute of our stay.

Nothing could possibly be improved on at Viva Sky. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful.
