Visitied Konstanz for the Christmas markets. Hotel was in a great location on a square at the top of the main shopping street, about 10 minutes walk from the train station. Room and bed were very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful, provided us with free tourist tickets as part of a local tourism scheme, which gave free transport and reduced museum tickets.

Breakfast was expensive so we didn't book, went to local bakeries/coffe shops instead.

Staff were really friendly. Location is excellent for the cathedral and port. Lovely drinks terrace at the front of hotel.

The hotel was of historical significance and had some beautiful old rooms, but some of the renovations seemed unsympathetic to original building which was a shame. Car park is a short walk from hotel.

Location was excelllent. Staff were polite, extremely helpful and attentive.

Door to the bathroom did not allow proper privacy. A small fridge in the room would have been a bonus and extra pillows useful. Large square German pillows are not very comfortable if you did not grow up with them!

Location was central to everything. Breakfast was excellent, coffee was fantastic. Bed was super comfortable, the down comforter was amazing. I loved the towel warmer in my bathroom. The twin room was super cozy for one person. Small but all I really needed.

Very central location. Staff when we checked in was helpful. Our room was located towards the back of the hotel which meant it was very quiet all night long even though we were there during Fasnacht.

Beds were too firm for us to sleep comfortably.

Missing the basic things like having hot water to drink. I had to go to the restaurant and ask to fill my bottle but the staff was all very nice to do this for me. Also expected the room to be a bit nicer given the price.

Superb breakfast with very friendly staff! They were the best! Loved the fact that the hotel is very dog friendly.

We had the standard room, it was dark and small. However, we requested a quiet room so it was the price to pay as our window faced a dark backyard. For a longer stay like hours (one week), for a couple I would recommend a bigger room.

We had a superior room that was very large and had loads of storage space. It overlooked a pedestrianised square that the hotel used as an outdoor cafe. We had windows on two sides. Bathroom was very large with bath, shower, two basins and a bidet. Plenty of towels. We had dinner which was good in a traditional dining room. Parking was available although about 500m away. You can drop off outside the hotel but the obvious place to stop is needed for fire brigade access!

Tricky getting to the hotel as it's surrounded by a pedestrianised area- clearer directions on the website would have been good (e.g. a map showing route to take by car). Can be a bit noisy if you want to sleep with windows open - early morning rubbish collection and deliveries.

A hotel with the atmosphere of an old tenement house, right in the center. No complaints about the service, professionalism of the staff, cleanliness or breakfast. Possibility to reserve a parking space.

Nicely authentic and very cosy. Good service too. Breakfast was great, not a huge spread, but quality fruit, croissants, some English breakfast and delicious quark.

The superior room we picked wasn´t really bigger, except the bathroom slightly. My in-laws had a "comfort room" and it was much brighter, with a window and a view.
