The view from the balcony was SPECTACULAR. The garden was accessible and lovely. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. We had a small space in a community refrigerator.

The lights in the hallway were ALWAYS turned off. When we first arrived, it seemed very dark and gloomy. I think electricity might be outrageous in Switzerland (like everything else is priced) It was a little awkward because I was trying to find the host and I had to knock on a door that I thought was the host, but it turned out to be a long term resident. She was wonderful and helped me locate the host on the top floor.

Absolutely nothing.

Big room, comfortable furnishings. We only stayed one night but it would be comfortable for a longer stay. Much more like a US condo rental than a European hotel.

Very loud kept bird adjacent to the property literally right outside our room. Quiet during day but *very* loud in late evening (for hours) and early morning (for a bit less time). Kept us from getting to sleep even with windows shut, and woke us too early in the morning.

What a brilliant place to stay. Part communal living, part casual resort, part family-style retreat, we were delighted by the subtle touches and care that staff provided in our too-brief stay. Large, spacious, comfortable room, with welcoming bed and exquisite pillows; an oversized bathroom with great shower. Lovely balcony beneath shaded trees. And the extras: we came home from a day of exploring to find our room tided, clothing we had hung over a chair rail on the balcony to dry hung neatly on a drying rack that had escaped our view; bedding neatened and sleeping attire folded and left atop the duvet. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, but used the spacious, well-equipped kitchen to prepare an evening meal for a break from expensive and mediocre Swiss cuisine in the area, which was a welcome break. We also prepared our own breakfast in the morning before departure on the last day. Quiet, comfortable, extremely reasonably priced - we highly recommend a stay.

The room was very spacious and the place was very quiet, perfect to recharge. There was a kettle and some plates, cups, and cutlery in the room. Everything was spotless. The toilet and bathroom were in separate rooms, allowing for additional convenience. The WiFi worked well

Nothing to mention. It's not your modern, posh inn, but that is not what we were looking for. We like clean and quiet, and this fit the bill.

Comfortable, great hospitality and clean room with wooden floor. The hosts are friendly. We had a great time staying here. At night it’s so quiet so we sleep very well. The surrounding areas are so beautiful. It’s worth a visit.

The hotel is located in a very quirky are just few km from Burgdorf. Right in front at the hotel there’s a wide parking area. My room was absolutely beautiful. A large and bright living area, a very comfortable double bed and a brand new private bathroom with everything you need. The hosts are really friendly and always available for any kind of information. I’ll consider it for my next business trips for sure.

It was a lovely quiet out of the way Village with a lovely restaurant right next door so we didn't have to go far for dinner and the bonus was a help yourself breakfast for a very small cost we also appreciated the easy parking since we had a car
