Cosy and comfortable

As a Muslim guest, I was unable to eat any of the food provided by the hotel, so I brought my own meal from outside. When I asked if it could be microwaved, my request was refused. I would like to suggest that the hotel consider adding halal cuisine options to the menu so that all guests can enjoy the food offerings. Alternatively, providing a microwave in the guest rooms or making one available for guest use would be very helpful for travelers with specific dietary needs.  This would greatly improve the experience for Muslim guests and others with dietary restrictions. Thank you for your consideration.

We found this lovely hotel last minute when we decided to spend a night in Zurich, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Although it’s not located right in the city center, it’s very easy to reach—just a quick 7-minute train ride followed by a short 5-minute walk. With frequent trains, getting to and from the city was no trouble at all. The hotel itself is modern and fresh, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly, making the check-in and check-out process smooth and hassle-free. Our room was stylish, well-equipped, and even had air conditioning—which is a rare bonus in Switzerland. They also provided thoughtful amenities like an iron and ironing board, laundry services, and a selection of cold still and sparkling water. Plus, there were plates and cutlery available in case you wanted to dine in the room. For the price, all these little extras made the stay feel like great value. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try their breakfast due to our schedule, but overall, it was a short and pleasant stay. As a sweet farewell gesture, they even gave us some complimentary chocolate, which was a really nice touch. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay just outside Zurich’s busy city center.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean. We especially loved the comfortable bed, the stylish interior, and the relaxing balcony view. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was also perfect quiet yet conveniently close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants. It was a great experience from check-in to check-out.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. If I had to mention something, perhaps an earlier check-in option would be nice, but everything else was perfect.

Well planned interior, space well-used. Place to sit and eat, fully-equipped mini-kitchen, big bed. Mattress itself comfortable. Controllable heating. Very tasty on-site restaurant. Nespresso coffee machine in room.

Pillows wasn't comfortable at all, and they don't have alternative options (at least, at night). We had to wrap blanket to get something soft and not thick to sleep. Air is quite dry. Water from the shower splashes outside, including the corridor and room since there is no door, and bathroom door doesn't stop it. Lighting in the room is insufficient... It is quite dark in the room and the spot lights over the table around eating/seating area is too focused, so it glares from any surface. More soft bulbs would definite make things better. Restaurant doesn't work on Sunday.

The location is excellent walking dinstance from Oerlikon train station. Many shops and reastaurants nearby. The room is well appointed, the aircon is good, and so is the wifi. The bar lounge area is well appointed too, kind of relaxed style. I liked that they offer a drink in exchange for not having the room serviced. Gustavo in the bar/restaurant had a great service!

Room is a bit on the small side. Staff at reception could be a bit more friendly.

location is great for me, as it’s not in the busy center and also close enough to it. Supermarkets few steps away, train station , restaurants, shops 5 minutes away. Excellent air conditioning, good size room, clean, window opens with a view of a lovely street, laundry room, parking lot in the basement and great people at the reception especially Mahmood.

consider adding more machines in the laundry room, there is only one on the ground floor and the waiting list is long, there is another one on the 4th floor but not sure how many machines are there. But the waiting is long, takes more than 24 hours.

It is a 5-7 min walk from orelikon station. There is a large coop supermarket in 3 min walk. The supermarket open till 9pm. Close on Sunday. The kitchen was functional to prepare simple meal. There is a free laundry room that can be use if no one book. Need to bring your own soap powder, otherwise, can purchase with a fee. The laundry room can only be use by 1 person at a time.

The room I got was big, nicely appointed, and really clean. Great buffet breakfast, but make sure you come early, otherwise some of the available options will no longer be available. The train station is a short walk away. There are some good restaurant options around the hotel.

A somewhat weird interaction at the checkin desk. Just keep it professional, some jokes can be misconstrued. Dinner somewhat expensive for what it is. Some of the food options seemed a little experimental.

Aircon available. Small kitchenette is well equipped and there is a dishwasher which makes cleaning up much easier. The hotel is about 8 mins walk from Oerlikon station with flat access all the way so on a dry day it is very manageable.

The shower doesn’t have a door, only a partial screen which does not really block out the water. The bathroom floor becomes quite wet after shower. The other bed is a sofa bed only with a relatively thin mattress.

Perfect location – just 10 minutes from the city centre and close to the train station. The staff truly understand that running a hotel is all about the details. They’re flexible and genuinely focused on their guests. One of the best hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The studio-style rooms are spacious and well-designed, located in a quiet neighbourhood. Excellent experience overall – highly recommended for a city trip or a longer stay in Zurich.
