I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North, and overall, it was a very solid experience. The hotel’s location is its biggest strength, just a short walk from Zurich Oerlikon train station, making it incredibly easy to get to both the airport and the city center in under 10 minutes. It is also within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the train station. The rooms are modern, spacious, well-furnished, and quiet, with comfortable beds and large windows. Everything felt very clean and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the hotel offers thoughtful extras like a 24/7 grab-and-go market, a fitness center, and underground parking. The staff were friendly and professional, and check-in/out was smooth.

It is a fantastic property! Nice and clean. You step in and it lifts your mood up with its cleanliness and pleasant smell. Staff are nice and polite. Location is just perfect, once stop away from Airport and two stops behind down town. You can stay in the calm and quiet neighborhood and make ur way to bustling city in 10 minutes. I can write more and more like their is a big coop right next to the hotel and couole good restaurants but to make it short let me say, you cant go wrong with this property!

There was no pool! They say they are a business hotel and I wondered what does business has to do with not having a pool?

Quite modern with all facilities in the room. Excellent location, right next to bus stop and huge supermarket (coop). Combining walking, bus and train - just around 25 mins away from central Zurich. Overall, it was a welcome change for us towards the end of our stay, prior to which we were staying in smaller towns and not so modern hotels.

Breakfast service could be better. First day we were very nicely given boiled eggs on request, as our 4 year old is a bit picky. Second day some other staff member suddenly said it will cost CHF 10 which was quite odd. But we didn’t argue further.

Situated in the northern part of Zurich, it's very convenient for both business and leisure travelers. It's well-connected to public transport, making it easy to reach the city center, the airport, and key attractions. The area around the hotel is peaceful and offers a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are another highlight. They are incredibly spacious, modern, and comfortable, with all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. I appreciated the sleek design and the attention to detail in the decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. All in all, I highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Zurich.

One area for improvement, however, would be the breakfast. While it offers a good selection, I believe the quality of some items could be elevated. A wider variety of fresh, high-quality options would take the breakfast experience to the next level and truly match the hotel's overall standards.

The room was spacious and the hotel provided pretty much everything I needed. The location couldn't be more convenient, 5 mins walk to Platform 8/ entrance to Oerlikon station. Breakfast set me up nicely for the day. The room had a great TV. The blackout curtain was useful for keeping light spill out early morning.

The colour scheme of the hotel and room was not personally to my taste (too many dark colours). I understand why paper cups might be used for the teas and coffee tray but it can't be the most sustainable option, also looks very cheap! The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. But these are all subjective matters, it is a good hotel which I would happily recommend.

The stay was fantastic, especially thanks to the exceptional customer service. Lily was outstanding—she was incredibly kind and a true gem in customer care. Lily went above and beyond to make my family feel comfortable and even encouraged my child to create a sketch that will be displayed on a board as a memorable keepsake for future visits. It was a thoughtful and touching gesture. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would definitely return in the future and have already started recommending it to my friends and family for their visits to Zurich.

The breakfast could have been improved with more options, such as a live kitchen for made-to-order omelets.

Convenience. Very near to train station Oerlikon about 500m away. If one doesn't want to walk there are bus stops right outside the hotel that can take you to train station, airport, etc. There is a supermarket across and a cafe wherein all basic needs are available.

Very minor thing. I have to call for toiletries to be refilled twice, since it was missed during cleanup of the rooms. Other than that everything is smooth.

Everything was as expected for a hotel ranked as a member of such a well-known chain. Special mention must be made of the staff, who were truly excellent. I would particularly like to highlight Mathias at the reception on the day of our arrival. With his natural courtesy and genuine attentiveness, he immediately created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel at home, as if we were visiting a close friend. You are very lucky to have him on your team.

Rooms were a little smaller than expected, however similar to other parts of Europe. Conveniently located and walkable from the SBB station at Oerlikon. Breakfast was very good with variety of food options, vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

Mattresses were a little lumpy, probably require change. Airconditioning in the room was erratic - would wake up 2-3 times in the night by very warm conditions whereas room would be cold when going to sleep.

Room was newly decorated and very clean, with all the amenities you need. Breakfast was excellent and all staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I would have liked to be able to adjust temperature of the room a little as it was very hot. I did speak to reception staff and got a very good explanation on why hotel was so warm and that air con was not in use due to still being winter which is totally understandable.
