First of all, i would like to say thank you to the friendly staffs that decorate my room in birthday theme. My friend asked them via email to have a surprise decoration, they didnt reply the email which make it really surprise to me. Hahahaha!! Well done!!. They really put a true heart in preparing that although they seldom have this kind of request. It is so nice and touching when looking at it, u can feel their sincerity. Besides, they also provide free snacks, coffee & tea at the lounge area. The front desk staffs also very friendly. i can say TaiChung's ppls are more friendly than those i met in Taipei. they are so humble and friendly, its feel warm like home.

Nothing that i dont like. everything is perfect. quite convenient also when we want to travel out, just get teksi or by uber can reach destination. Behind the stay have one night market, not bad to grab some nice foods. the guava is must try.

Because we checked in late we had to use the automated method..... This proved slightly tedious and likely more time-consuming than it should have been..... This is located in a area close to a university and at night there is no shortage of choice in terms of food stalls a short walk away. During the day there are also other markets which you can explore. The rooms are very large and very clean. The water closet in ours was especially spacious and handicapped accessable. The rooms were very well appointed. Nice rooftop terrace as well!

The covered smoking area which must be gone through in order to reach the entrance was unnecessary and revolting. After hours check-in procedures should be simplified or at least better described....

It is super clean and has a pleasant smell. The modern design features nice facilities. The staff is very helpful and assisted us in upgrading to a more spacious room for free. The basement cafeteria area provides free coffee and snacks, which is very thoughtful.

The water drains from the sink very slowly, which makes it easy for flooding to occur. The washing machine doesn't work efficiently; it takes more than two hours to dry the clothes. Our first room, 403, which faces the street, is very noisy, making it difficult to sleep at night.

Conveniently located within walking distance to day market and night market. Plenty of food options nearby. Hot/warm water dispenser and dining facilities in the basement area are handy to provide a comfortable dining experience for takeaway food to avoid eating in crowded night market. Washing machine is an added bonus.

It would be helpful to provide English translation of the full functions on the washing machine (eg speed wash, quick rinse, drying)

This was an ideal place to stay for a two week trip. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the facilities were great. Situated close to a night market so there was no shortage of local food options. Situated close to major bus routes and a 10min walk to Taichung train station or faster if you take a youbike. Awesome experience.

This hotel is in a great location just a quick bus ride away from the main station and just next to a nice night market. The self check-in worked perfectly and our room was very clean and had the described facilities. We could also store our luggage in a locker room after check-out. Overall, really a great hotel for staying in Taichung.

The room looked more spacious on the pictures than it actually was. Nevertheless, the room was very well equipped and very clean. We would definitely come back!

Room was spacious and clean with a washing machine in the balcony. It is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood with a small night market just 1-2 mins walk down the street. You will need to Uber to get around but it is a nice restful respite away from the hustle and bustle. Staff are very helpful and you can help yourself to refreshments and lockers for your luggage in the basement :)

Location is tucked away from main city area

• New property, facilities functional and very clean. • Friendly staff, they always made us feel welcome • Very well maintained common area, they even have a UV steriliser for cups and plates (VERY CLEAN) , free coffee and snacks • Comfortable bed, big shower.

• Shelf above the sink is quite inconvenient. Better if shelves were like corner shelves next to the sink.

Clean quiet rooms and in-room facilities, good location (in a quiet area of town, yet within walking distance to a night market street and other shops). Access to a personal washing machine-dryer is a plus.

Facilities in the shared kitchen are not the cleanest and at risk of malfunctioning.

We got a Japanese designed room with low bed. Love the hotel, very comfy bed, the toilet is equipped with bidet, has washer and dryer, has Netflix, basically it has everything we need. Love the basement cafeteria with free fresh coffee with milk and snacks. Very close to a night market with plenty of delicious local food and breakfast stalls.

1. The room design is flawed for safety reason. The bed frame is elevated with tight space between wall, TV and the pathway from the balcony. We tripped and fell 2 days consecutively, luckily managed to balance ourselves and avoided hitting the table. Walking from balcony to the room is hard because there is a huge TV at the pathway, prone to incident when the person sleeping at the window side need to get up at night to toilet. 2. It's tricky to use the dryer. We still need to hang our clothes, otherwise the machine tends to get overheated and damaged our clothes. Suggestion to add hanger at the balcony to air the clothes.
