The location was convenient. I was able to visit two shopping malls, well known ice cream and confection shops, a lovely park, and more, and it was all in walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they helped me order taxis for longer trips. The room was compact and comfortable, which was perfect for a solo traveler. I choose the Mini Hotel over other nearby hotels partly because I liked the layout of the room and because there is an easily accessible laundry room. The hotel environment is lovely and whimsical. The paintings on the walls and the creative fixtures and furniture give the hotel a very positive and playful atmosphere.

In my room there was a slight unpleasant smell that came from the bathroom sink once the water was turned on. It didn't seem to impact the overall smell of the room. However, when I used the sink, the smell would get stronger with time and was unpleasant. I did not mention it to the staff during my stay as I only spent mornings and evenings in my room. It was a small issue and am sure that if I had mentioned it, the issue would have been quickly resolved.

Breakfast exceeded expectations considering the price we paid for the room. There was a lot of variety and breakfast staff were very friendly. The hotel was decorated for Christmas and really cute. Lots of photo opp moments. We got a free room upgrade and the lobby has drink dispensers you can use by bringing your cup down from your room. Bottles of water are provided every day as well in your room. Laundry located onsite and easy to use with a whiteboard system so people know your machine is occupied. Laundry detergent provided. Ask front desk for amenities such as slippers and a shower cap. Toothbrush, toothpaste, and Q-tips provided in room. There was also a mini fridge and tv in our room.

No hand soap is provided in the rooms, which isn't a dealbreaker since we had some soap of our own. You can use the shower gel in a pinch. The main disappointment was that the drain stopper for our sink seemed broken and would get clogged.

It’s super close to the train station and had very convenient facilities around, including YouBike stands. Loved the idea of literally climbing into bed every night, and the staff is super friendly.

I didn’t get to use it so not sure if a change machine is available but the Washing Machine + Dryer cycle requires 10 $10 coins ($50 each machine), and will require staff’s assistance if you want to use it outside of operational hours (10am - 11pm)

The room was really big, bigger than expected, there were 2 beds, one at the bottom and one at the top, so it was really spacious. The toilet was just nice, size-wise, amenities were sufficient and good enough for the two of us. They provide free mineral water in the room, but outside there's the water refilling machine which suits just fine. Each level seems to have its own theme so if there's time, can take the chance to explore each level. The entire hotel looks fine from the outside. Breakfast was simple fare of western (bread with spreads) and Chinese, but servings were good.

The room was great, there was one bed next to the door and another one high up, like a bunk bed this was great as it gave each bed a bit of privacy and increased the space. The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. The bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great, very traditional with many options.

The blinds that blocked the morning light weren't very efficient as lots of light came into the room, and the room could have been a little more spacious.

Clear communication about the card pre-authorization before my stay. The hotel staff sent me directions to the hotel prior to my holiday which was really helpful. The triple room was a comfortable size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice. Decent breakfast buffet included. The decor and wall paintings were cool. I liked the unique design of the rooms. Good location - near the train station.

The hotel was a short walk from Taichung TRA station. There is a 10-level shopping mall next to it. There is a Family Mart and 7-11 convenience stores round the corner. The staff members were very helpful and professional too. A special shoutout to Ms Jiang (江小姐）who was exceptionally helpful. There are free drinks such as iced lemon black tea and a Nescafe instant coffee machine which the staff members clean regularly. 👍🏼 The common dining area and toilets are very clean too! There is a laundry room which is not as busy as most hotels I’ve been.

The rooms live up to its name - Mini! The toilet is small, the walk way is narrow, and the space to keep the luggages is limited too. The pillows are flat and there are only two pillows given for a double bed. Any additional pillow costs $100NT non-refundable. For families or couples or singles who do not mind smaller rooms, this is a highly recommended hotel!

The atmosphere of this hotel was so amazing that made me feel like I was living in the Northern Europe. Breakfast was delicious and versatile and fresh with the vegetables and fruits. Car parking was free and multiple entry was so convenient for us. Almost everything inside the building was well designed and decorated for our guests, even it’s a little bit smaller than the rest staying around the trip.

Close to station & food places I liked the breakfast. Definitely wasn’t what I was expecting so it was good to try different foods. Can’t fault the front desk staff. They were very helpful. Free tea, coffee & water downstairs were good but cups weren’t provided. You had to go to your room to get one. 7 floors up then down again in my case. There was weird too. Regardless of this & the below I liked the place & would stay again.

Room was a bit weird being small (mini) with the bed on a "mezzanine" floor with steep steps to access. Because I was travelling solo it was ok but could be cramped for 2 especially if both people like spreading their stuff over the floor like I tend to do.

- This hotel is super Instagrammble with quirky decor in the lobby and murals on every floor. Very aesthetically pleasing - my room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom clean and pleasant - it offered a simple but satisfying breakfast spread in a lovely sunlit dining area - there is a 24-hour self-serve drinks corner with water, free tea and coffee Nd iced lemon tea - good location. Only a few minutes walk from the train station
