The large stone bath was undoubtedly the highlight of this location - very well-maintained and you get to soak with a nice view all to yourself. Do note that if you're sensitive to the smell of Sulphur it may be harsher considering it's indoors, but the extraction fan did a great job as the smell does not get into the rest of the room. The location is a little far out and uphill, so walking there may not be a great idea - make use of the shuttle bus. Rooms are clean and well-sized, breakfast has a decent variety, and the staff has been nothing but helpful and kind.

The property was beautiful. They upgraded our room to a room with the private onsen and we loved it. It was nice to run a bath with the hot springs water and relax after a long day of exploring Taipei. We also enjoyed utilizing the public hot spring which included 5 different hot spring baths with varying temperatures. They also had a swimming pool and an area you can do VR but we just didn’t have the time to utilize those amenities. Beautiful scenery around the hotel too.

The location was a bit out of the way from everything. Required either a taxi or the hotel shuttle bus which comes once an hour to pick up guest from either the Beitou or Xinbeitou station.

Private hot spring in the room, also can visit their public ones for free. Specially prepared baby bath tub and towels (didn't ask for it). Staff were friendly and accommodating (see -ve review). Good breakfast spread (local taiwan + some western food). Very nice chinese tea (and tea set provided) and end up going to the shop and buying the tea.

The bed edge has a spring protruding out when compressed, when feedbacked, offered to immediately swap a room but baby was already sleeping and late. So they offered to have some extra padding to cover over the area and offer a later checkout time for the disturbance. While the issue is mitigated, the bed should have been replaced in the first place to prevent such experience.

Good value for a hot spring hotel in Beitou. The in-room hot springs were the best way to relax after long and physically tiring days. AC was great too. Staff service went above and beyond. We had an incredible amount of baggage - over 60kg in boxes and suitcases being transported back and forth, staff were helpful in arranging transport, storage, and organizing items between the ground floor cloakroom and personal items in the upstairs rooms.

The rooms do feel a little dated, especially the electric outlets which are placed oddly. We found it difficult to charge multiple devices overnight and have phones within reach for the morning alarm.

Everything was amazing. We had a group of 10 staying in 5 rooms. The staff was extremely hospitable and helpful at every opportunity. Darren was especially kind and helpful. There is a lot of attention to detail and the facilities both in the rooms and in the public areas was incredible. The hot springs tub in every room is a huge highlight. The breakfast is fantastic, they change it every day! Truly 5-Star. We will definitely be coming back!

The rooms are well designed, aesthetic and well maintained. It’s a real luxury to have a bath in the room. They also include some nice snacks. The service is really great. The staff was so helpful at every chance. One morning I asked for a straw at breakfast for my daughter, and they remembered to bring one for her the next day! In addition, I had a problem with my booking and the manager Irene went above and beyond to help get it resolved. The breakfast offering is also very good - a combination of buffet and kaiseki style.

No major problems. It is a little far from the station so to grab a quick snack from 7/11 isn’t so fast. They do have a free shuttle though!

We chose a ryokan style room with a private onsen. The room was a bit smaller that you would get in a luxury ryokan in Japan, but it was well designed and nice to be in. Evening turndown service is a nice touch as preparing futon beds for sleep is a bit of work. A real highlight was the spa. We went there after enjoying the private onsen, and then we had full three hours of massage. The massage was done masterfully, and helped a lot after days of hiking in Taiwan. The hotel is also within walking distance from Thermal Valley and Beitou library.

The hotel is located away from central Beitou, and your only real option to get there is a taxi. The breakfast consists of Chinese dishes and it is not adapted for guests who are not used to them. It would be nice to have more options for other tastes as well.

Unique experience of thermal bath in your own room. So comfortable, that we didn't go anywhere else during our stay. It was luxurious, and the ideal ending of our 2 weeks trip around the island of Taiwan. Staff was super-friendly, but then again, I haven't met a single unfriendly person during my entire holiday.

The food was really average compared to what I ate in the rest of Taiwan. It's wasn't so easy to get to the center of town, but presumably this was due to the location near the springs. White wine wasn't chilled, but I noticed that's a thing everywhere in Taiwan ;-)

Nice design and peaceful location near the mountain and walking distance to Beitou museum. Convenient Bus from xinbeitou station.

Kids under 12 years old are not allowed at the Public hot springs!! Bring your swimming caps if planning to use the indoor pool (where water is kind of cold and closes so early at 19.00 …). Food and breakfast are okayish … It is not the property’sfault, but the public road and stairs down to Thermal Valley is a bit “unwelcoming” …

Beautiful hotel with Japanese style rooms which included a separate seating area to enjoy tea and snacks, and in room onsen that you can fill directly from the hot springs. Our room was spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. We also took advantage of the public hot spring baths located on the lowest level of the hotel which are Japanese style (meaning, no swimsuits and women and men's baths separated). There is also a swimming pool and children's play area with different activities, such as VR headsets. We enjoyed the selection at the breakfast buffet and took advantage of the shuttle bus that went to downtown Beitou. We wish we could have stayed longer!
