Location: Nearby the Taipei Main Station, near the Airport Express section. It is about 10 min walk to the Airport Express from the hotel. It will be especially convenient if you are coming from airport or leaving for the airport. Room: Superior Double Room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. There was a small table with softa chair. There was space for 2 luggage and a lot of walking area. Toilet: There were a shower area and bathtub. Ground floor: Once you check out, you can also rest at the Business Center, if you need a place to sit before leaving the hotel. Breakfast: Buffet breakfast was delicious and there were numerous variety - with sufficient Chinese and Western dishes, whichever you prefer. Surrounding: There were shops selling Chinese food on the opposite side, so it was convenient if you want Chinese food. There was also a supermarket within 100 m (opposite side), so you can get foodstuffs or cup noodles if needed. If you don't mind a further walk (10 min), there were more local food stores. Value for money: With the affordable price, the hotel room was above expectations. Choosing the option with breakfast will be a good choice!

Location: If you want to use the MRT mainly during your stay, walking to the Taipei Main Station MRT section from the Airport Express section would be far (another 15 min walk within the station). Note 1: The Taipei Main Station is a large area with different sections - MRT, train and HSR, and Airport Express sections. Note 2: You could take the public bus (bus-stop was less than 100 m away from hotel, Old Taipei Railway Station bus-stop), if the MRT station the bus passes by is along your destination. Else all is well! Great place to stay in Taipei

The hotel is located in an older section of Taipei City, near Taipei Main Train Station and Toayuan Airport MRT station, within reasonable walking distance to the closest Green-line MRT stations (through air-conditioned underground shopping streets). There are many interesting places nearby, such as Ningxia night-market, historical DiHua Street, fashionable Zhongshan MRT station area, Taipei Main Station, coin-laundromat, post-office, super-markets, convenient-stores, and Underground Shopping Streets. The two-twin-bed hotel room is large, with plenty of room for luggage storage. Bathroom is also decent. 24-hour hotel staff is friendly and daily room service is also available as long as you ask for it. Room insulation seems good. Hotel price seems reasonable comparing to other similar hotels in Taipei.

The hotel seems somewhat dated and lacking maintenance and updates throughout the years. It may have had better days before, but some updates and maintenance are obviously needed. Overall, it looked dated but in general, it is clean and livable, and price is very reasonable! The hotel is located in the middle between two Green-line MRT stations so, either one is not too close to the hotel but still within reasonable walking distances....since Taipei mostly is a walking city so, that should not be a major issue for MRT riders. There is no dining facility in the hotel and that maybe one of the reasons for the lower room rates. Although the beds are firm and comfortable, but the comforters are too thick and heavy for us...a thinner and less heavy comforter should be much better.

close to the metro, it takes 5-7 minutes to walk from Metro exit #19 to hotel. Room with window is ok, comfortable, clean. Buffet breakfast is very good, more Taiwanese/ Asian food. Staff serve breakfast is fast, bring food fast to customer. We like the lady Nhu, she served and brought food fast to customer , very helpfull. Front Desk staff, we like Mr Min who is very helpful.

Fairly central. Not noisy I had a huge room with a lovely big plunge bath.

Needs the decoration freshened up. Carpet in the corridor was manky . Breakfast was not worth getting up for. No tea!

The location is great, very close to markets and central Taipei train station. The airport express train also leaves from this station- the trains leave every 15 minutes and it it takes 30 minutes to arrive at Terminal 1. It also goes to Terminal 2.The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a luggage storage area which was very appreciated. Check out was 11am and our flight was at 10pm. We were able to leave our luggage for the full day. Breakfast is 300TWD, there are a few different choices, not exceptional but good for the convenience. There are a lot of different eateries close by, from street food at the markets to fried chicken, pizza hut and numerous Taiwanese restaurants. We tried a few and the food was always good

My son's room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke- easily rectified by opening his window. It is a non smoking hotel.There is a smell of dampness in the carpets ? they have had a flood at some point and the carpets were not not dried completely. We only noticed this in the passages, not the rooms. We couldn't get the t.v. to work. The toilet is quite low so elderly visitors may struggle to use it.

Very nice location in the downtown area. Not a lot around for tourists but there are places to eat nearby. Hotel desk clerk was very nice.

The hotel is very old, not fancy regarding anything. Bed is typical Asian bed. Not very comfortable and pillows are thin and squishy. At one point the fire alarm went off and there wasn’t much direction as to what to do. I went to the lobby and again no direction as to if we are evacuating. Eventually I just returned to my room. WiFi was very weak.

The hotel was very good, specially position which is very close to Zhongshan and Taipei central station. Also Ningxia night market is less then 10 minutes far by walk, which is great. The first room where I stayed was really big and comfortable. After two days I decided to changed it cause I thought I could get a better one but I made a mistake cause it was smaller and the bathroom was smelling a bit. But nothing bad, I had a really nice stay. The guy with blonde hair at the reception during the morning has been super kind with me so I wanted to say thanks for being so gentle. I will definitely consider to come back if I’ll be in Taipei again

The room size is ample with luggages, coming from cities in Japan. They do room clean up by default daily unless told not too, kind of opposite to Japanese hotels which is pleasant. The location is very convenient right in the middle of main train station and shopping district as well as street food, grocery and many small vendors. Decent breakfast is included which is considerate since many stores are still unopened at 6:30

The mattress can be improved. The carpet at our floor has wet smell possibly due to humidity. The room can have more lighting.
