the location is great, just a few mins walk to mrt station and you can literally go everywhere by public transport. The room have every basic amenities that you might need during your stay, hair dryer, toothbrush, towels, shower gel shampoo conditioner and lotion. there will be only two clothes hanger, so if you need more maybe need ask the staff or bring your own. the room cleanliness is great. hotel customer service very helpful, friendly staff.

we got to stay in a room without a window so we wont hear car passing by, however my parents stayed at a room with window facing the busy road, so they could hear buses, cars passing by. fyi, if u received any messages from the booking .com chat saying that you need to paid fully or else the hotel will cancel your booking, it will ask u to click in a link and refill all your personal information and make payment , DONT do it !! i called the hotel for confirmation and they did not require the guests to do so. It might be a new scam or hacker im not sure, but if you encounter a problem, always call and ask for confirmation before you make any action. im thankful and happy that the hotel customer service is very efficient and helpful.

City Suites Main Station in Taipei exceeded my expectations. Firstly, its location is superb, situated conveniently near the main station, making it easy to explore the city. The staff's attentiveness was remarkable. Check-in and check-out processes were a breeze, thanks to their efficient and friendly service. The room's comfort and cleanliness were exceptional, providing a cosy and relaxing environment. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness was evident, room cleaning was available even until 5pm. I highly recommend City Suites Main Station to anyone visiting Taipei for its location, attentive staff, seamless check-in/out, and great room standards.

The Hotel is in a great location next to Taipei Main Station and also the Airport Metro which is only a 10 minute walk away. The room I had was comfortable and was well laid out. it was on the small size but was fine for one person and one night. The ceiling height was quite low and anybody over 5.10 may struggle or have to duck a lot.

The staff was very helpful, the hotel rooms had no carpets (ideal for those with allergies), the rooms were well maintained and cleaned regularly, and the location was near the main station. As expected, the rooms were small but ideal for two people. The soundproofing between rooms was wanting, but based on the location, you could not hear the vehicles in the street. Loved the way they compensated for the lack of closets by having a lot of hooks for clothes.

You need to be extra careful when getting into and out of the bathtub due to the high step required. They could provide steps and grab bars. This would be a problem for those with arthritis and those with disability.

Convenient location. Just across beimen station Y21 exit of taipei mall and across taoyuan airport mrt station. Bus stop is just outside the hotel.

If I may add a little bit of comment, the shower has to be taken in the tub but the tub is slightly high to climb up in the first place, especially for older guess.. Have to be extra caredul when climbing down after shower. Perhaps providing handle / railing to hole while getting / climbing into / out of the tub would help to.addreas this issue.

Very clean, spacious, and affordable.

Hotel is 5 mins walk if you take exit 5 from Taoyuan Airport MRT if you come from airport. If you take Airport bus to Taipei station and walk by the underground mall, it will take 15 mins walk. Then take exit 27 where there is escalator to go up to street level, it is 5 mins walk to hotel. If you need to move around Taipei city by MRT, 5 mins walk to Beimen [ 北门 ] station, 1 stop to Taipei station and 1 stop to Xiemen [西门 ] station to exchange to other MRT line. There is a convenient store within 3 mins walk.

There is no restaurants near by. It is in a residential area. You need to take MRT [ subway ] to either Taipei station or Xiemen station for restaurants. Bathtub is too high for elderly people. I need to climb into the bathtub to take shower.

The rooms was ideal for a short stay, clean, modern, comfortable and in good condition. The staff were very helpful and daily housekeeping was good. The location is close to the Airport MRT (6min walk), bus stops, HSR/MRT (15mins walk), Taipei Mall, a 7/11 etc.

Not a negative in itself, although there is a laundry service it would have been good to have on site communal customer washing machines/dryers.
