Location is not bad - tip: its easier to walk from Beimen Exit 2 (Tacheng Street), just a straight road down then turn right at a small carpark. Otherwise can also walk 10-15min from Zhongshan MRT or Taipei Main! There is a nice Taiwanese breakfast option to the right (尚雯早午餐) or a small coffee place that sells really affordable and nice sandwiches/french toast to the left (初作早餐 塔城店／企業外送/下午茶訂餐) Walking to Ningxia night market is super easy as well! Facilities are very well organised, toilets/showers/washing up area/hairdrying area/laundry room are all separated, everything is very clean and at the hairdryer station they even provide cotton pads with Bioderma micellar water and Cetaphil body lotion!! The common lounge has card games which I used with a few other hostel guests. It was fun and chill (: A more commercial hostel so employees are less personal, but they will definitely answer all your enquiries and ensure that you are well taken care of!

Private room was great, had a great time every night in the shared space too on the lower floor, checkout was at 12

I stayed here twice - at beginning and end of my trip. First time was on 1st floor, 2nd time was on 6th floor (this was bit more expensive but was only option left as I booked last minute). Definitely pay a few more £ and try to stay on 6th floor (advertised as dorm room with balcony) - it feels like a totally different hostel - there is natural light (1st floor has none), social space/kitchen is nicer - in my experience people were actually socialising on 6th floor and I made some friends compared to 1st floor no-one really socialising (maybe just luck), and toilets are cleaner/more modern with Japanese style toilets that spray your bits squeaky clean (normal toilets on 1st floor). 1st floor was also nice to be honest and second time I was expecting to stay here but was just put on 6th floor which exceeded my expectations. Free hot/cold water dispenser/tap on both floors with free teas/coffees as standard per any decent Taiwanese hostel I stayed at. Adequate toilets/showers for guests throughout and never had to wait during my stay here. Overall very clean throughout so no complaints there. Good sized large private lockers on both floors (1st floor was key operated, 6th floor was more modern card operated). Has hairdryers free to use and some other complimentary toiletries. Has coin operated self-service laundry room and machines to use. Has free luggage store room before/after check in/out. Staff were mixed but generally friendly, one or two staff members bit cold but ok. During my second stay there was a young intern guy there (with green apron) - shout out to him he was great very friendly and helpful! Also the guy working with him who speaks decent English was also super friendly and helpful so big shout outs. Overall, probably my favourite hostel I stayed in Taiwan, would recommend and would stay again!

Not much I didn't like to be honest. Some may find the 10-15 min walk to Taipei Main Station/HSR station a bit long (especially if you have luggage/it's raining), but was manageable. There is Beimen MRT station shorter 5-10 min walk away for within city travel.

Very nice common area with free tea and cookies. It is clean and the location is in a fun area with lots of good food options. Showers are spatious. There’s lots of information about what to do in Taipei and around the hostel. Thanks, will stay again!!

The common area is very spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, well designed, warm, clean. The kitchen has hot and cold drinking water tap, 2 sinks, free coffee and tea, toaster oven, microwave, and also self paid bottled water, instant noodles, soft drinks and beer for your convenience. The sound proof is excellent, no noise is heard from the street. Everything is new, clean and elegant.

Sometimes people talk too loud in the phone or make video calls in the common area like in their own living room.

The common area on the 6th floor was quiet and relaxing. Tasteful decor. Everything in the property was super clean. Lots of useful small free stuff (like coffee, tea, swabs, floss, cotton swabs for removing make-up, make-up remover, moisturizer, etc.), or for 10 NTD (i.e. dirt cheap) toothbrushes with toothpaste, water, best ever sound dampening earplugs, etc. For 20NTD you can get various drinks on the honor system (take what you want and drop money into a box). Staff will print out your airline ticket (if you need or want paper). Will also call you a taxi to airport (1300 NTD). It is also possible to change (as soon as available) to a bed on the top or bottom of the bunk beds (if you are in dorm). They gently knock many times before entering the room for cleanings so that you have time to get properly dressed, or to hide in your curtain-drawn bunk bed. Large fridge where you mark your stuff. Never had anything stolen.

20-25% of all people sleeping in a dorm room seem to have some kind of social deficit that disables them from recognizing that their actions are not community supported, nor wished for. That is not a problem limited to this property, but just the nature of the beast. Better to get a single room (which can be hard to get here) if this 1/4 of your fellow travelers makes you unhappy. Aside from that, the place only has a microwave, toaster and toaster oven. NOT ideal. If you need a heating plate or range to cook, you are out of luck. Too bad. So, pasta and various receipts become a little tricky, but 7-11 microwave heat-ups are no problem to prepare (which in the long run could be problematic).

This was my second time to stay here, since the first time was satisfying, the second was time was as expected, smooth check in, clean, nice and quiet room, friendly and accommodating staff. Wonderful stay! Would love to always come back and stay here.

The female dorm that i stayed in was on a higher level with a balcony, common area (kitchen, lounge) and computer for free use. I really enjoyed sitting in the common area as it was clean, quiet and had warm, wooden interiors. Having breakfast while watching the rain in the morning was relaxing. Complimentary biscuits, tea & coffee were provided which was nice. The bathrooms in the dorm room (i had considerate roommates) and the common areas were kept clean and working well. The laundry & dryer was in the main guest/check in floor; there was even a shoe dryer which was handy during my stay. Location was close to the station, about a 5–7-minute walk.

Small detail, but the mattress in the female dorm was a little thin. Didn't stop me from getting a good night's rest, though.

I stayed at We Come Hostel as a solo traveller and it exceeded my expectations. The images on booking.com were accurate to what I saw in real life. The atmosphere of the hostel and shared space was so relaxing as there was nice jazz playing in the background, which really helped me wind down. All the facilities were so clean and tidy, and all the staff was very welcoming and friendly. A lot of the travellers were also very friendly and nice to chat to. I stayed at We Come Hostel for a total of ~ 2 weeks altogether (broken up in a month) and I will definitely come back with my boyfriend next time I'm in Taiwan.

There was only one thing that I could think that can be improved, which is to have a clear stone bath mat sign in Level 6 Mixed Dorm toilets. There were some guests who didn't use the bath mat and wet the whole floor. The wet floor made it unpleasant to use. Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you so much for the lovely stay.

we stayed in the private 2 people bedroom up on the 7th floor. the room is on the smaller side and it has everyone we need. we like the common area a lot. we can’t eat or drink beverage other than water in the room but we can do that at the common area. the common area is just as comfortable and has everything we need such as plates, utensils, fridge and microwave. they also have water station for cold, cool and hot water. you can make tea or coffee instantly. with the reasonable price, you can’t go wrong with this place. being able to do laundry is a bonus. the dryer in Taiwan is not as powerful so even after 75 min of drying, you still need to hang the clothes to dry for a day afterwords. also, the laundry machines only takes 10 dollar coins, if you are doing laundry outside of the staffing period, make sure you got enough 10 dollar coins.

we stay on the 7th floor, there is patio for smoking but I find if someone smokes there, the whole hall way smells it.
