We loved our stay here. All the receptionists/staff were accommodating, friendly, and helpful to our needs. It was so easy to ask for their assistance and they would try their best to accommodate your request. The rooms were also comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and neat. We also loved their common area where they give free snacks and drinks. I would 100% recommend this hotel. It’s affordable and they offer a quality service. It’s not that far from Ximending and the MRT too. It also has a lot of nearby convenience stores and food stalls.

Hotel is just 10-15 minutes away from Ximending and around 20 minutes walk from Taipei Main Station so it was very convenient for us to go around Taipei. Out of all the hotels I've been to abroad, Newful Hotel has the friendliest staff. Special mention to Wade 'cause he was very welcoming and friendly from the day I arrived until the day I checked out. The other staff were also very helpful with our requests. I really appreciated the fact that they have umbrellas that the guests can borrow anytime since it was quite raining when we got there. The room, especially the bathroom, was gorgeous and always clean. It was bigger than I expected. I had a lot of space for all of my stuff especially my luggage. My room had a lot of sockets so I was able to charge all my gadgets at the same time. Will definitely choose this hotel again when I go back.

We booked one double room and one triple room for 2 nights and overall our experience is above pleasant. The location is great, 5-10 mins walking to MRT and 15 mins to Taipei Main Station. Ximending is right around the corner with walking distance. The facilities are great, clean modern toilet and nice cozy rooms. The triple room seems to have more spaces than the double room, but we don’t mind that at all. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel will give you coupon for breakfast that u can exchange at a breakfast restaurant about 3-5 mins walk from the hotel

if you are sensitive to noise, be mindful that the noise cancellation doesn’t work too well as we can hear noise from outside the room, but it’s not too noisy at night so everything is good for us

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable. It was a very charming property and they even served free drinks and snacks in a small dining area on the ground floor.

Nothing to dislike about Newful. However, it was still a short walk to Ximen. Around 5-8 minutes.

Water was dripping in our room from the rain. The sockets are spoiled- near the bed, room has musty smell. Rooms can be improved😉

The ambience of the hotel gives off a chill and cosy environment, the facilities provided were great. Hygiene is maintained well as they provide single use disposable bath towels. The bed was large enough and possible to even fit 4 person! The bathroom is equipped with modern toilet and the water heater temperature is high enough.

The room lacks lighting, it will look a little bit dimmer which is inconvenient sometimes. The room is not really soundproof.

Had a great stay at Newful Hotel! Originally booked 2 nights but extended for 4 more. Excellent location, helpful staff, and great value for money. Just a few minutes’ walk to Ximending Street. Highly recommended!

Rooms are small

Elevator - easy for seniors. Bathroom with bidet. Near Ximenting night market.

Room very small. Dining room cannot b use during our 1st day. Breakfast provided by a breakfast shop which need to walk about 5-10 minutes from hotel.

Free snacks and drinks, keeping our room clean all the time and refilled drinks and snacks. Good location and good facilities. Worth it.
