Lovely view of the ocean and pool. Enough plug points that accommodates universal plugs and UK type. Aircon in room. Mosquito net in front of sliding door which helped a lot when the door was open. Beds are comfortable and rooms are a decent size. Lovely pool and fantastic views. Staff is nice but Isiaka at reception is exceptional. Please commend him on the way he speaks to guests. Had a great conversation with him at check out. Restaurant is good with a tranquil vibe and food was really good. Room has a mini bar fridge.

The flies at breakfast. Understand breakfast is served outside but this is a pain. No hairdryer. Shower leaked quite a bit of water. Sliding balcony door was very difficult to open. Have to request a TukTuk to go to a supermarket as nothing is close by the hotel. No milk supplied in room, only powered milk options. Not enough clothes hangers.

The rooms are clean, the premises is well maintained and we managed to use the Ramada Hotel swimming pool which was next to the hotel where they offer better fun facilities for kids as the Hotels swimming pool area was full with walk-in guest to use the swimming pool only.

The hotel is open for walk-in day guest to use the swimming pool compromising security and comfort of the hotel guests. I was charged $40 more on booking.com. It would have been better to book with the hotel directly. I hope I get a refund to keep me using your service.

It was really comfortable, the rooms were pretty big and the property was so relaxing. You can enjoy the beach and the swimming pool while drinking something refreshing. The staff was really nice and big thank you to Latifah,Charming,Iren,Ritha and Victoria from the reception: they were amazing every time. Looking forward to book here again next time!

I really had a wonderful time and it is hard to find something, but if I really I have to I would say that the restaurant menu “à la carte” is a bit limited especially for vegetarian. The rooms are not really sound proof and the corridors are open merging with the hallway and entrance.

We moved to Giraffe beach hotel from a nearby hotel that was very disappointing, and we were very pleased. The rooms were big and bright, the a/c working properly, the beds were comfortable and the shower very spacious and modern. The grounds are lush and green, plenty of slides and swings for the kids, two separate swimming pools for adults and kids (the latter was very large, which is really nice if you are traveling with kids). The internet was working with no disconnects (which is what we experienced at the other hotel), which is a bonus as we came for work, and the staff were overall very friendly and eager to help.

The communication between staff could be improved; we asked for a breakfast pack on the day we had to leave before the breakfast buffet was open, but it wasn't ready and had to rush so we wouldn't miss our flight. One evening they told me I could exchange USD to TZS at reception, the next morning they said they had no cash. Upon checkout they asked us to pay again for a meal we had paid for a few days ago. The breakfast buffet didn't have much variety (especially for jams, honey, and fruits).

Amazing facility, by the beach if you need a beach view. This is an amazing hotel. Also a well spread breakfast and affordable place to stay. Did a TikTok on it so if you want to see actual pictures, check my tick-tock, Monica_soft_life.

The flies at breakfast, but since it’s an open place at the beach I don’t see much to do about it but hopefully something is done about it. The food menu was also very limited so if you stay for a long time you will get bored.

The rooms were clean, top-tier staff, and the breakfast was amazing. I saw a lot of people complaining about the breakfast in the comment section, so I guess they improved on that. The hotel itself is so beautiful, aesthetically pleasing.

We were restricted from taking pictures at the banda right next to the beach. Apparently, it's hotel policy. I found that very weird. That's the only thing that I didn't like about it. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

The hotel is literally on the beach and it has a beautiful garden. The breakfast is ok, not amazing, but has both fresh fruits, omelettes, hot and cold options, and waffles/french toast.

The rooms are cleaned quite late in the day. This wasn't an issue for me as I was at a conference, but the room was often not cleaned until 4-5pm.

We had a lovely stay here. The hotel is in an ideal location and easy to find. The beach is perfect and always kept clean. The room was spacious with modern amenities and clean. Staff are really helpful and approachable. We tried the cakes and coffee from Grab & Go and it was nice, large portions. We also are at Twiga and the food was really nice - I tried the grilled prawns and salad. Breakfast was a combination of cold and hot items including fruits, cakes and egg station. I’ll be staying here again when next in Dar! Thank you!

The property was clean and the rooms were great

They need to have room service since it was hard to order food late hours which is an issue for those with jet lag . We found ourselves eating at Ramada which is a hotel next to them

It seems that every hotel offers a similar breakfast in Tanzania. The juices were good and fruit fresh. We had a choice of how we could have our eggs. It was wonderful to eat our breakfast looking out to sea in a romantic setting.

Coming from the West, I am used to bacon being served with a cooked breakfast; but I know this is not served because of the Muslim element in the country. Hairdryers could be provided in guest rooms.
