Easy access to the Beach, Breakfast including lunch and dinner. About the room ( MUSTY SMELLING ROOM. So I don't recommend garden view rooms ) because its not what I was expecting and less I got the worst one so before you accept ask the reception to show you the kind of room they going assign to you especially if you will stay for more than 3 days.

This was the second trip we booked for Serene Beach because we enjoyed it so much the first time. We booked an ocean view room and it was great. Room was large with walk out porch and all basic amenities.

Our first room the AC did not work. As we arrived late at night options were limited. We moved to another room the next mid-day and everything was fine. Identical room, but with working AC.

I loved the location on the ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom beeds upgrading immediately. Fixtures all need to be replaced.

The room was ready and everything was as expected. The bed was large and comfortable. The TV had many channels and a few were in English. A/C and fan kept temperature perfect. Shower worked well inside the bath.

I didnt have a chance to swim in the pool as it was not available in the evening I arrived and they were still cleaning it at 10am even though it was advertised as open at 9.30am. But as the beach and sea were so close the pool was not really needed,

The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help. Victor in particular could not do enough to help around the pool, bringing drinks and food. In general, the ambiance was great and led to a delightful break.

The breakfast could be kept a bit hotter throughout its availability.

Breakfast was ok. The staff needs to prep alot earlier in order to be fully ready once the buffet is open. Waiting on clean plates and cutlery is not a good look. Also hovering while people serve themselves is off putting. I am a culinary artist from Toronto Canada, hospitality is what I do, there's room for improvement.

All staff should be well versed in English, understanding that Tanzania's first language is Kiswahili however, English is an international language and in hospitality an asset.

Unfortunately bad timing it was raining so not much that I could ve done. The property is next to the beach so there is alot to see and you can also walk to the beach or even eat or drink as you are facing the sea. Its also next 5 10 mins by boat to visit the islands. Their TV has almost all the international and East Africa news channel so that is very helpful to get a variety of which news channel you wanna watch.

The breakfast needs changeover. Not much variety replace things like Smokie with sausages, you may add in some local traditional foods such as Arrow roots cassava yams etc.

Breakfast spread,comfortable bed, courteousness of staff,helping in my usual frozen food.packaging and storing as I travel far from Dar after my stay at Serene

Air Conditioning in rooms requires to be repaired. Room 422 is an example

Very nice resort, right on the beach. Very clean hotel, stay were great and always willing to help. There is local transport just outside the hotel and great beach places to eat, drink, sit and enjoy with the locals. Would defintely recommend. Be care when booking as there is a sister hotel down the road called Serene Annex close to the Ramada hotel.

Quiet and right on the beach. The restaurant inside is reasonably priced.

They serve instant coffee so I hope they can switch to proper coffee. Pool is only opened during certain hours.
