Friendly understanding staff, pleasant atmosphere, great location, peaceful surroundings, close to local amenities. During my stay they hired a chef to improve the value and quality of meals. The cleaning staff are excellent at their work and the laundry service they provide is great value, very convenient and top notch. The site does it's best to keep power on during electricity black outs by means of it's on site generator, which can be very useful due to ongoing works by the electric company. If you wish to stay in Dar Es Salaam I highly recommend their hotel.

A problem I have almost everywhere I go is that I am often too tall for the beds provided. If you are tall then it can be useful to ask for a bed which is open at the end so feet can rest comfortably. There can sometimes be issues with the plumbing, but highlighting these to management will soon resolve them. The menu of meals that was initially provided were sourced from off site and don't represent good value. This is an issue that is being addressed by the inclusion of on site catering.

Its located by the sea. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom clean with plenty of hot water. A/C fan all working well. Breakfast was good - plenty of variety with very attentive staff.

Swimming pool being cleaned so not open at times specified. I like coffee so bigger cups would be good rather than go back for second one in a small cup.

Would be nice to have a restaurant but they organise food for you, can be noisy if your room is close to the bar, better to move rooms if available for a longer stay

Enjoy every time I come here.very clean and neat and these are not your typical standard room size like some casinos have these rooms are like suites size rooms.I've recommend Serene Hotel to my sister and friends and they loved their times too

My bed was uncomfortable as the base was damaged so it was sinking in the middle and making alot squicking noise

A healthy bfast served on your time schedule by 10 am. The pool was clean at all times n rooms cleaned at your convenience. The staff were super friendly.

The electricity was on and off. The room shower was a little less effective despite the hot water.

The Breakfast of SERENE Hotel is very appreciated, i personally like their way of serving but next time you have to add soup
