The resort is beautiful, clean and well maintained. There are 3 large swimming pools with more than enough deck chairs for everybody. The staff are polite and very friendly. The food was superb - I booked the 'all inclusive' option - this included breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as selected drinks during the day. The executive chef Lotfy and his team are definately a HUGE asset for the hotel - everybody was complimenting the high quality and big variety of food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you come to Zanzibar for a beach holiday, this is not the place to be. There is a very small beach / sand area but not great for swimming. (The resort do have a free shuttle to take guests to swimming beaches in the area).

The hotel is very clean, grounds are kept really well. The staff are super helpful. The beds rooms are also comfortable and well maintained. The food could have been better, very little swahili flavor in the diet, that could improve given how famous ,Zanzinbar is for her spices. They have a lovely facility over the ocean, beautiful setting area and bar. Pools are three, with. Baby pool.also themassages are fantastic. You have to take the tour bus for activities. That was the only down side. Beyond their control, the beach was murky until the last day. Then the water. Are through clear and clean. Lovely to swim in. Overall, excellent holiday facility, easy to relax and spend a few days

The food, needs improvement. You had to take a tour bus at extra coast for activities. The beach water was murky except for our last day when the water cleared up, the sun shone and we had a little bit of heave. Overall Zanzibar is an excellent holiday destination

The best part is that it didn't turn out to be very expensive, and as Booking.com customers, they upgraded us to the All-Inclusive Plus, which included many more things. In reality, it's two hotels together, this one and the Paradise, so it becomes quite a large resort with several very nice pools. It doesn't have a swim-up bar, but the poolside bars are very good. The food is okay but not spectacular. The cocktails are very good, especially those with pineapple because they prepare the juice on the spot; it takes a little while, but the wait is worth it. We used the spa to get some African braids done and were very satisfied, although we had to haggle a bit to get a fair price.

The beach and the overall sea area don't compare to Zanzibar; the sand area is quite small and only visible during low tide, and the water color is nothing like that of other areas on the island. If you're looking for the picturesque beaches from brochures, this is not the area for you.

Great pool options and activities if you want to do them, also a nice retail therapy section. Great friendly staff. Our room was at the pool and had a nice privacy hedge so we could sit on our stoep but still have some privacy. Beaware that on the all inclusive package they make their cocktails super strong (double shots of alcohol in small glasses) I guess at least they arent watered down😅🤣, but they klap you hard on a hot humid day. Its still worth it to go all inclusive just be aware when ordering drinks

The bed was very uncomfortable, they did put a mattress topper on but you could still feel the springs Also they should make a rule about people coming to the pool at 6am to put out their towels to 'dibs their sunchairs' for the day but then only coming to use them after lunch. Its a thing in europe to do this, not in africa. Also they have a habit of switching the aircons off at the power box outside the room in the middle of the night.

The main dining room was very nice. The variety of food was was a wide range.

The very unpleasant smell in the rooms. It invaded the entire room, it smelled like sewage. The smell was so bad it would wake me up out of my sleep.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean

More water should be provided in the hotel rooms since it was very hot. The buffet breakfast should not be monotonous and the time should be extended since sometimes my son preferred sleeping in and the breakfast time was not accommodative given the fact that i was not also allowed to carry some breakfast out for him.

there is everything you need for a good vacation. all invlusive was good, the food was delicious (you must try soups, they were delicious!), coctails and white wine were good. price vs quality is ok! staff was very friendly and helpful!

there were several electricity shutdowns which were leading to lack of internet. but it’s vacation, so you don’t need to sit on internet.

All meals had great variety and were tasty. The room was big, but we booked a family suite so we were expecting this. Staff was attentive and helpful, e.g. we had some medicine for our son which needed to be refrigerated so they brought a small fridge to the room.

Unfortunately no blockout curtains so a bit light in the room, and the water pressure was very low in the shower. Meal times were not that flexible, for example dinner only at 7:00pm which is a bit too late with a very small baby so my husband and I could never eat together. It would be great if there would be one a la carte restaurant where you can chose to pay for meals but have them available all day.

It was a phenomenal, once in a lifetime kind of trip. The people were incredibly kind and helpful, going out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Good good, great facilities. All in all a true paradise.

The only downside was power cuts that we were experiencing (which was not ideal in the heat haha), but that wasn't the resorts fault, and they kept us updated.
