I love everything about my stay at Dream of Zanzibar. I traveled with my best friend to celebrate both our birthdays and they treated us so so well! The staff are so kind and. friendly! Especially Zachary (F&B Manager)/ Ngulele (Front Office Manager) & Jackson (Front Office Supervisor). The food was so good, they gave us royalty treatment for sure. I remember how beautifully they sang for us on our birthdays! I felt so loved and blessed. The icing on the cake was how Zachary asked us our favorite meals and set up for us a perfect surprise romantic dinner by the beach! We almost cried!!! He made us feel at home and so special! We took the all-inclusive premium package, worth the money! Drinks were made so well. The staff were also clean, well dressed, smelt so good and so kind

The SPA manager was a little overwhelming to be honest, he kept coming to us and interrupting us to tell us about the spa facilities despite seeing that we were busy. Though the spa treatment was good, he tried to charge us a different price from the price that we had agreed on, which put us off. It is good to note here, the management of the SPA is independent from the management of the hotel.

Brand-new hotel on a lovely white sand beach. The common areas of the hotel as well as the rooms are all very nice and new. There were some issues with electricity, but they have a generator on the premises, so the light and basic electricity work even when there's a power cut. The AC does NOT work during a power cut... so that was a bit of an issue, as on my arrival, the power had been out for a couple of hours and it was incredibly hot in the room. However, the issue was resolved after a while. I did get a free late checkout for the inconvenience, so that was really nice. Pool and beach area are very quiet, which I liked. Food was also very good!

As it's a new hotel, there are still some issues (with power cuts etc.). Most of the staff were very friendly, but some seem inexperienced. The chef at breakfast in the morning seemed very out-of-spirits (if not rude). The service at the pool was sometimes very slow (30min wait for a glass of water). If these issues are resolved, I feel this can be a very nice, relaxing hotel.

This property was very clean and tidy and very well maintained, it has excellent food choices and friendly staff

The only thing that let this hotel down was lack of entertainment, there was zero entertainment in day time, not even quiet music around the pool at minimum, and other than 3 nights each week for one hr was the limit to the evening entertainment and due to the location of the hotel there is nothing near by with any possible entertainment which is such a shame for a beautiful hotel. I think every guest we spoke to on the resort had exactly the same view. And on the very rare occasions they played music by the pool once a week for 30mins was like every one was happy to hear it.. I don’t understand why this is not at least a minimum norm

This is a truly special and beautiful place to spend a relaxing few days in Zanzibar. We came here after some busy days traveling Tanzania and were looking to calm down and unwind. We were not disappointed! The hotel is all that it promises to be - beautiful location right on the white sand beach, spacious rooms and a small and intimate hotel complex. It is quiet for the most part and the highlight is definetly the very friendly and passionate hotel staff. The service feels very personalized and thanks to the all inclusive option, there is are always enough drinks and food available, as almost everything is included. At this point we would like to say a special thank you to Rahma, Nasra and the rest of the lovely service staff for making our stay truly unforgettable! We can highly recommend staying here, if you are looking for a high quality, relaxing experience with good quality food, nice drinks and a typical Sansibar beach experience. Asante sana!

We do not have anything negative to say, even the sometimes tricky Sansibar tides were no issue and there are plenty of swimming opportunities at the mostly private beach.

We liked everything, the Sunrise is a dream, the food is FABULOUS, and the staff is exceptional the place is quiet, and the beach is wonderful. Marya, the restaurant supervisor was extremely helpful and nice. Happiness, was very, very nice and always concerned about us enjoying our stay. Anastacia, the masseuse gave my wife 3 wonderful massage sessions, and we recommend her very much. WE RECOMMEND THE DREAM OF ZANZIBAR HOTEL WITHOUT ANY QUESTION.

Before I start with the property, let’s start with the people from my pick up to my last day. Innocent the supervisor of staff, top tier hospitality. He went out of his way to make sure I enjoy Zanzibar holistically and it’s people. I mentioned I wanted to watch Stellenbosch vs Simba and arranged tickets to explore Tanganyika + Zanzibar To my amazing ladies in the restaurant and my gents by the bar, Bella appreciates every single one of you. I will come back guaranteed and this time around I will make sure I stay longer. Your hearts 🤍 Ok now to the facilities, my room could fit an entire family, quite spacious, the bathroom, was my favourite place in my room, bath shower, space, lighting. Access to the beach

This was my first time traveling to Zanzibar on my own, and it was an amazing experience that I will cherish forever. The hotel is perfect—neither too big nor too small—and the beach next to it is stunning , perfect for long walks. The room was incredibly beautiful; I was amazed by how lovely it was. The staff truly touched my heart with their warmth and friendliness. Special thanks to Ngulele for taking such great care of me and always being there when I needed something and being so kind. I also want to express my gratitude to Jackson, Benvolt, Zacharia, Flothea, Joffrey, Nipher, Grace, Sophia, Ramadhani, and the rest of the team for making me feel so welcome.
