We had a wonderful stay at Green Mountain view. The bamboo huts are absolutely the cutest. You even have your own private semi-outdoors bathroom. They offer very good value for money just 5 km away from Khao Sok village. Their hospitality is absolutely the best, they are the kindest people who will take very good care of you during your stay. A few times a day you can hop on the transfer to Khao Sok village. The food at their restaurant was very good and they are even expanding the restaurant by next year! Last but not least, we booked 2 tours via Greenmountain View. A full day tour to Khao Sok lake and the Nam Talu cave and a full day jungle trekking! We would really recommend the trips! Guides could speak basic english.

Absolutely nothing.

It was the best staff that atended me during my entire trip. They were helpful, kind, and always seaking for your comfort. The scenery is beautiful. They offer transportation to the village and all the information for which ever is the transfer you need for your next destination. Also, they have plenty of tours, which are truly worth it to book. Everything was super clean and they provide a lot of water.

Everything is in cash, and you might lose a lot of it during the stay, so its better to have plenty or go to an ATM before the arrival. The bed was extremely hard, and even though this is a big standard in Thailand, this one stood up as the hardest mattress I was at during the entire trip. And there was no toilett paper

Exceptional views and location of the property. The nicest and most helpful staff. I had a lovely tour of the national park that I booked the night before with the resort. The staff here will go above and beyond to help with everything you need. I wanted to stay longer but it was booked, so the staff called my next hostel because it was quite late after my tour. She even drove me to the next place. The food here is AMAZING!!! If it takes a bit longer, it is only because they make every dish from scratch. Absolutely worth it. The room was clean and had a nice fan and mosquito net. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The staff is one big family and will welcome you as if you are apart of their family. 10/10 recommend this homestay and I will come back some day.

Nothing.

This was our favourite stay from our entire trip in Thailand. An incredibly peaceful and tranquil environment! And we still can’t believe the price! Yes the room is basic and no hot water but you are in a remote area in the jungle. It wasn’t very hot at night so the lack of AC was not a problem. Whilst the bungalow is surrounded by vegetation we did not encounter any nasty creepy crawlies during our stay much to the relief of my wife! A mosquito net is provided which minimises any risk of mosquito bites. However the best thing about our stay was the staff. The family are so welcoming and have amazing English proficiency allowing you to converse easily and discover lots about the area and activities available. We booked an amazing tour through them at a very reasonable price and also a transfer back to Phuket airport. To top it all off they do free transfers and pick ups from the town and have an onsite restaurant, serving cheap and delicious food. We had our best food in Thailand here.

Nothing.

Absolutely lovely hosts. Always ready to help you with anything - they can drive you anywhere and are usually ready to do so in 5 minutes without charge. They helped us arrange our trips to the National park and made a private tour for us (to viewpoint, waterfall and a place with monkeys) when we couldn’t go tubing due to the weather. Also, the restaurant serves super tasty food for very affordae prices. The bungalows are simply furnished, but clean and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

The outside bathroom has only cold running water, therefore showering in the night when the temperature sinks wasn’t exactly pleasant.

We were blown away by the hosts, the kindest and most helpful and welcoming people! They went above and beyond for anything we needed help with, e.g., organising transport to our next place, tours and excursions we wanted to go on. The place has a lovely relaxed feel, we had a drink in the bar/restaurant on several nights. Breathtaking settings with a mountain view and the sounds of the jungle all around you! The hotel is outside of the main Khao Sok village so it's very peaceful and quiet. There's a shuttle service multiple times a day to and from the village which was incredibly helpful (one rainy night, the hosts rounded up several cars to take all the guests back to the hotel under cover!). You can also rent a motorbike from them. There are limited facilities as advertised but we found this was not an issue at all, e.g., no AC but a large fan which worked well enough for us. We were comfortable throughout our stay and the hosts made sure of that! One of our favourite places we stayed while in Thailand, thank you to our wonderful hosts! 😊

The staff were extremely helpful and caring. They provided a free shuttle from and to the Khao Sok mini van office at our preferred time of arrival and departure. They offered some activities for us to do so we could choose from the options. There is also a free shuttle a few times a day to and from the city center. The food was excellent and freshly prepared . There was a small leisure zone and good wifi. You can watch all sorts of animals while sitting in the restaurant or on your terrace. It is quiet and calm nearby so you could walk and you are not disturbed during the night by the cars. There is a river in the close proximity of the property (around 10 minutes walk)

No air condition only fans.

The best of this accommodation is the staff! K Om will go the extra mile to help you. She will arrange excursions, transport to the town, will help you find transport to other places in Thailand, and will make you feel at home. They are open and honest. Location is quiet in the middle of nature/plantations; food in the restaurant is good and affordable.

The only thing I didn't know before I arrived is that there is no hot water. This was no issue for me, but I'm quite certain this is something some people would like to know before they book.

We just left Khao Sok Green Mountain View and wanted to share our amazing experience right away. This family-run resort was incredible! The staff were so friendly and helpful, it was like they were our friends. The customer service was top-notch, with warm smiles and genuine care. We felt totally connected to nature here. It was like we were living in a real-life jungle adventure! We spotted all sorts of amazing wildlife, and we didn’t see any scary animals. We just made sure to stay well-coated in insect repellent and had no issues at all. Now, let’s talk about the food. Oh my gosh, it was so delicious! The food was home-cooked and made with fresh ingredients. We even asked for a few recipe tips to take back to the UK. Khao Sok Green Mountain View served up the best spring rolls of our trip in Thailand, and the pineapple rice was scrummy! Don’t worry about the cold showers, though. They’re not that bad, and you’ll probably end up taking a cool shower anyway. The best part of our trip to Thailand so far was definitely Khao Sok Green Mountain View. It was the warmest welcome we’ve ever received, and we’ll definitely be back. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed!

Leaving… we had such a good time!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were the loveliest, kindest and most helpful people - I even had to go to the hospital during my stay and they offered their personal WhatsApp, called me a taxi with a discount and were so nice. The staff are so hardworking and recommended great tours for us - we did tubing, elephant feeding and a one day trek and we absolutely loved them. The bungalows are true to pictures and were cosy and homey. We loved the outdoor bathroom and being close to nature. The food in the restaurant was great and the accommodation also does free pick up, drop off on your arrival and exit, as well as free pick up and drop off to Khao Sok town, which is 5-10 min drive away. Can’t recommend enough.
