This stay was such an amazing experience. You really are staying in the jungle and coming out in the morning to watch the monkeys was incredible! I cannot speak highly enough of the family who hosted us, they are the NICEST people who cannot do enough for you. They were so helpful with everything we needed and for booking trips. We did a night safari with a guide they organised for us, and it was one of the best things we did in our entire SE Asia trip. The food from the restaurant is really good and the location is perfect. We stupidly locked our key in the room one of the days and they had to cut the bolt off our door to let us back in. We felt terrible and my husband offered to go out and buy a new lock but they said it was absolutely no issue and are just such kind people! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and we are sorry again about the lock!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Khao Sok Palmview, the bungalow is incredible, rustic but comfortable. I expected more mosquitoes and bugs as you are so close to the jungle, but was pleasantly surprised. The monkeys that jump across the palm trees in the morning and evening were the real highlight but the staff deserve a special mention too, they make you feel at home and part of the family. Would definitely stay here again.

The food was very nice, but one of the soups we had was very small (absolutely delicious though), we are used to much bigger portions in Thailand.

The owners and the staff of Palmview are absolutely amazing, they were the sweetest most helpful people and they really made our stay! Even taking us to the bus station when our taxi didn’t come, genuinely lovely people :)

super cozy and very cute, provided water and super close to the village and the national park! The family running it is very sweet, and had a good restaurant associated as well. Very very welcoming, provided me with tons of information/refreshments on arrival. Cozy room, I stayed in two different bungalows. Some are definitely larger and more comfortable/updated compared to others. Had a very lovely stay.

Ants! But unavoidable in Khao Sok. My only other issue may be that the locks can be quite finicky from the inside. Other than that, important to note there are many chicken/rooster friends about - but i thought this added to the stay more than anything (if you don’t mind a natural alarm ;)).

A really welcoming team here who made sure you felt right at home. A lovely reception area with books and games and places to chill. 2 gorgeous resident well behaved dogs and a more elusive cat. The jungle huts are just great, in the jungle with the sounds of cicadas, geese, cockerels and monkeys as part of the package. The rooms are basic, with a fan, mosquito net and bathroom. Not a lot of room to put your belongings in the smaller rooms but for the low season price this is hardly a worry if you are only staying a few nights. The team booked the overnight lake trip for me and there is a nice short cut through the jungle to the main village with lots of places to eat and drink. Loved it here.

We loved staying here - the location felt so secluded and really ‘in’ the jungle yet it was also a 10 min walk to town. It’s a family run business and from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and it was a very warm environment. Kong and Jeab helped us to book a day tour of the lake which was really fun and also a minivan to our next stop. We also had a lunch and breakfast there which was delicious and well priced. We had air con in our room which was welcome in the April heat but we also loved sitting on the balcony listening to the nature all around us! We stayed two nights and had the best time - thanks to Kong and his family!

Nothing! Of course don’t expect extreme luxury but it was perfect for us.

really nice peaceful location, with a great shortcut way to the town and national park, surrounded by the palms the resort is offering homemade food, table tenis, there are monkeys, cats, dogs, chickens hanging out around note: if you are not used to the nature sounds, especially at night - this might not be the place for you

overall would be good to have a possibility to charge your phone and keep it within the mosquito net, as well as it would be good to have bedside lamp/or a camping light, a hamoc on the terrace would make it even more perfect side note to the hosts: in bungalow 14 the toilet flush was not working properly, as well as some of the lights were not working bungalow no.11 and 14 were perfect

Great value for money! We only stayed for the night before going to the lake but we had delicious dinner, the hosts were very kind, knew good English and we had good communication! They helped us with our luggage and they also helped out another girl, who arrived in the morning, to go on a lake tour on the same day. They are great! The lobby area is very relaxing to hang out. Also, if you see a spider in the room do not hesitate to ask for their help! They immediately came and took care of it :D

The bungalow could be sealed a bit better because a spider got in…Although, we have no idea from where as we couldn’t see any gaps anywhere.. Spiders are our biggest fear as you can understand from my review! BUT our “guest pet” is completely understandable as the location is in the jungle. It was in its habitat! :)

This is a really friendly and lovely place to stay. The location is great, a short walk through the back to the main road and entrance to national park. Its so peaceful and lovely. The staff are incredibly friendly, and very welcoming, helping you with anything you need. The room is basic but nice. Ideal spot to do tours from and good value for money.

The breakfast was not good. I think the tours are a mixed bag. We did the two day lake tour which was great but could have lived without Night Safari. I think if you know Thailand and tours then you probably know what to expect. If you're just going to do one I would go with the Lake.

I rented a bungalow for 3 nights, placed by a beautiful palm tree forest. The accommodation had a small terrace, a room with double bed, a private bathroom. There is a common area by the reception with tables and deckchairs. You can book tours and experiences in the National Park, and order for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The accommodation is close to the centre of the village and to the entrance of the Khao Sok National Park.

I would have preferred to have the WIFI at the bungalow too. The connection is available only by the reception.
