We loved the location, gardens, restaurant and helpful staff too. Cute bungalows and very clean bathrooms.

The only issue is that they absolutely should have a water system where u can fill your own bottles for a charge/ fee. It's awful that each tourist goes thru 4 to 8 bottles of water a day ( super hot there) and these are mostly likely garbage. At least they are mixed with garbage in all the bins. All over Thailand. Even in Central America, with far less infrastructure, each hostel has a system to refill your bottles for a fee. Morning mist have signs up about not using plastic straws or not getting clean towels daily yet the plastic bottle waste is far more impactful on the planet. So sad:(

Loved the setting. The gardens were lovely and the room was great with a front and back patio. Nice places to hang out all over the resort.

Unfortunately I mistakenly booked a room without air conditioning. Not the resorts fault. It was very hot, even though the room had a nice fan.

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. Maybe if you think about a resort you think about luxury, but remember you’re next to the jungle. We had a room with airco and fan which worked both very well. The room was clean and had a mosquito net. The doors didn’t close very well but that’s probably because of the moisture and heat (the doors are made of wood). We didn’t had any bugs in our room. The bathroom had a lizard in it once, but we didn’t care about that. Occasionally monkeys come by, make sure you close the doors and don’t feed them. The breakfast is good enough and the staff is very kind and helpful. They helped us book all our tours which were great as well (elephant sanctuary, overnight lake tour and night jungle trek). I would definitely recommend going to this resort when visiting Khao Sok.

We stayed in room 3 by the river. It was in the back of the resort and felt very much in the jungle. We experienced monkeys in the surrounding woodland & watched them each day cross the river to come for food. A couple of cheeky ones even came on my partner on the balcony. The resort is ideally centrally located and basic but value for money. Shower could be a little more powerful, the only downside side. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we went to the lake on a hotel excursion which was again, excellent value for money. In the lake, I received a proposal! What a fantastic experience all round.

It is a typical basic bungallow experience, our kids realy enjoyed be in the nature in the little wooden house surronded with beautiful flowers, occasonal monkeys. Location is great, in the middle of the village. Weathee was perfect, during the afternoon naps, we used the fan, during the night without fan was great, we did niot miss the AC at all. Morning Mist and the full village has a very nice laid back hippi vibe, where you can slow down. Swimming pool and common areas are nice touches.

Breakfast is not a big thing. We give thevkey two days to the reception to clean the room, nothing happened. The towels has a terrible quick dry material.

The resort is really good situated, only a view minutes away from the entry of the national park. You can book a guide for the jungel tracking on the reception. Our guide was outstanding. A really funny guy who was really enjoying showing us the the jungel. The resort is very jungel like. It provides a small pool. We had a bungalow on the river. If you want more comfort I strongly recommend in taking a bungalow with air condition. We had only ventilator but it was okay. It was a wooden bungalow with some holes so you don‘t should be scared about small animals in your home. If so go with air condition so you get a massive bungalow being built with beton instead of wood. The breakfast has to be paid extra. It was okay but don‘t expect to much. Only a cold shower was available but it was okay for three days. Don‘t know whether there are better showers available in the high class bungalows.

During the breakfast several times the order went a little bit wrong. But we enjoyed it anyway. Rest was okay. The stuff is really friendly.

Location was good, right in the middle of the town/street. Staff were very nice and helpful. Hot water for the shower. There was also pleanty of places to store luggage which was helpful. When I messaged asking for advice on how to get to Khao Sok from Surat Thani, I messaged on booking.com and via text and got a response from 2 different staff; - 1 staff member said we had to pay 3000 baht for a private transfer. This was obviously just trying to get unnecessary money out of us and they made no mention of the much financially better option below so just be aware that you can easily get a shared mini van for much much less. - The other staff member suggested getting a shared mini van (available outside the station) for just 180 baht. A much better option. So thank you to this staff member.

Mosquito net needs replacing, full of holes. Also the screen for the front door hasn't been replaced and the door to the cabin has a massive 3 inch gap at the top so all manor of creatures could enter. No WiFi in rooms Breakfast was pretty poor. Decent for what you pay for it, but needed a bit of maintenance. P.s. Watch out for the monkeys and keep your door shut!

The resort is very well-located, in the middle of the village, where you can book excursions to the lake. The garden is very cute and they offer nice tours with overnight for exploring the national park. Bungalows are cosy and equipped with the basics. Everything was clean. You are in the middle of the jungle, I would repeat again.

The resort is located in a very touristic area, and there are bars and pubs nearby. Late in the night you can sometimes hear the music a bit as it's loud. The tours with overnights in the lake are very nice, but their accomodations (single bungalow) have according my opinion lower standards in comparisson with them of the resort. That might not depend however of Mist Resort.

Really lovely staff, comfy beds, cotton sheets. Very quiet, good pool! Well located, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Good value for money. We booked a day trip to the lake through the resort. Bamboo is a nice place to go for food, they have a pool table so great for teenagers to hang out. They were really helpful. I would recommend and would stay again.

Nothing. The place is lovely. The only thing I would say is that the area of Khao Sok is predominantly cash only (credit card in some places, but 3% charge) and things are a little bit more expensive - nails / pharmacy / massage. Food is very cheap however. Just sure you have cash, exchange is possible but not the best rate.

We had an amazing time in Kao Sok and the mysty is the perfect location. The staff are fantastic, especially Nina❤️✨ The hotel bar on the walking street is a must for anyone who loves peace and quiet and the jungle. It's a real piece of paradise. The hotel organises activities in the park with great guides, and the full-day jungle trek is a must. + swimming pool, we appreciated !

We were disappointed that there were no smoothies (for breakfast, as they're everywhere in the street...). The orange juice, on the other hand, was excellent. We don't have any less!
